A week later,I decided to go patrolling while the others slept again.I had a weird feeling id see Nathan again.I waited till the other dragons were all asleep,then I flew off ,careful not to wakeup the others as I flapped wings.I flew really close to the edge of mountain turf.The sun was shining,so i could tell if they were going to attack again.I actually really good at leading and defending against air assaults,That is if they attack me during the storm,like last week.As i traced my path from before.Then,oddly enough,I saw Nathan,flying in from the north.
"Hi!"I yelled strangely exited.
"Hello"he yelled back.we both lander,It was then I noticed the small sack in paw.
"Whats in there,"I asked pointing to the sack.He grinned and dumped it out.Quite a few fish pored out.He encouraged me to pick one.I spotter one of my favorite fish.
"I just ate,"I told him,"But ill have this one,"I said as I scooped it up.I picked up the fish and ate it.After we ate, we went down to the seaside.I asked how he new where and when i would be.
"Well uh...well my dad is a Wyrm"he answered shyly."He's dead.And so is my mom.But before he died,he gave me a fraction of his future telling powers.
"I look down at my claws."Im sorry,but trust me,I know how you feel.Both my parents are dead too.My dad dyed in the great war and mom died after giving birth.Ive always been an outcast."
"That sounds horrible.And if you don't mind me asking why are you an outcast?"Nathan asked.
"Because of this," i said,showing him the "finger" I had on my wings."I have one less toe on both of my front paws.And where most other mountain dragons have a strait forward claw on their wings,I have a whole finger.I also can sense things others cant.
"Oh"was all he could say to that.We sat in silence for a few minutes.
"Well,"I said breaking the silence and getting up,"I got to go before the others wake.Bye.See you next week here?"
"I hope so,"he said with excitement."Bye,Nice meeting you."
"Same goes for you,"I said as I left.I git back to the dragon herd just in time.The others woke up just as I went back to my sunning spot.I couldn't tell anyone about being with Nathan due to strict herd rules.Or about me meeting him next week.
