Friday, 07:58 am.

"I hope it's not gonna be boring." Skylor sighed as they walked up the stairs.

"I don't think so. I like Physics." Nya answered sincerely.

Her friend smirked. "Are you sure you like Physics class and not a certain Physics teacher?"

Nya shot daggers at her. "Skylor, enough. You know I've always liked Physics class, even before we got a new teacher."

"I know, but there's something telling me that it won't take long for you to accept your crush." The redhead whispered as they came closer to the classroom.

Nya stopped in her tracks, holding Skylor by her wrist tightly. "I'm serious, stop. I'm not interested in finding a boyfriend soon, so that's not gonna happen." She said through gritted teeth and then let go.

Skylor rolled her eyes and started to walk again. "We'll see about that, sweetie."

When they were only a few steps away from the classroom, they both stopped talking. As they entered the class, Skylor walked in the front again and Nya was the last one to step in. Her eyes locked with Mr Walker's immediately and this time, both smiled to each other. Nya then walked over to her seat and sat down, taking out her book from her bag. Then Mr Walker began his class right after the bell rang.

Halfway through the class, they were all assigned to solve some mathematical equations for a certain project, but Nya had something better to do. She looked to her left to see Skylor trying to solve the equation while frowning to herself as she was scratching her forehead. Nya then grabbed a small, bright orange sticky note and quickly wrote down her address on it, smiling dreamily at the thought of the next day.

After she was done writing down her personal information, she put the sticky note under her notebook so that no one could see it and started to solve the equation like all the other students. The teacher was sitting at his desk, typing his plans for the upcoming project into his laptop, but what Nya wasn't aware of was that Jay looked at her quite a lot. So much that it came to a point in which he had to delete a whole paragraph and rewrite it because he was at a loss of concentration.

At the end of the class, when the bell announced the beginning of the break, all students started to pack their things and made their way out. Nya packed her things very slowly so that she intentionally was one of the last ones again. This time, she was intentionally walking past the teacher's desk. She forced back a smile when she saw Jay beaming at her as she came closer. She had her sticky note ready in the palm of her hand and while she was walking right in front of his desk, she quickly stuck the note onto his open laptop and walked past. When she was at the doorframe, she looked behind her to see him looking at the note dreamily. He looked at her, both giving each other lovely smiles. Then she left.

~ the next day ~

Saturday, 7:30 am.

Groaning, she turned in her bed and reached for the beeping alarm clock on her nightstand. Aimlessly smashing her hand for a few times onto the wooden surface, and hitting her phone quite a lot in the process, she finally managed to shut down her alarm clock.

She rolled back onto her side, trying to find a good sleeping position again. Her eyebrows creased as she thought about why she would set an alarm clock for a Saturday morning. Relaxing her facial muscles again, she let go of the thought and felt herself drifting off again.

Wait a second.

Nya's eyes shot up, as well as her whole body seconds later. She had a date with- wait, it wasn't a date, they were going to hang out. Just like friends. No one said it was a date, why would she think that?!

Anyways, she yawned as she stretched her arms over her head. Then she pulled the covers off of herself and got out of bed. She made her way over to the bathroom and groaned when she saw it was already in use. Great.

She knocked. "Kai!"

"What do you want?!" She heard his annoyed voice call out from the other side.

She groaned. "Hurry up!"

"Fine!"

She groaned once more when she heard the shower head being turned on and the water flushing out. He just got into the shower. Knowing she needed to get into the bathroom. Having siblings had its good and bad sides.

She sighed and made her way over to the kitchen. If she couldn't get into the bathroom first, she wanted to at least quickly eat something small before she would be picked up by Jay. She grabbed a slice of bread and put it into the toaster, waiting a short while before it popped back up, making a ding sound.

Nya grabbed a plate and put the slice of toast onto it, setting it down onto the counter. She went over to the fridge and took out some butter and a slice of cheese. Putting all the ingredients together, she started to eat her quick breakfast in peace.

Then she heard some wet footsteps behind her. She turned around and immediately turned back around and rolled her eyes. "Do you have to show up half naked?!"

"What? Can't stand to see my toned abs?" Her brother retorted from behind her.

"Kai, you're my brother, I have a built-in mechanism that makes me love you, but sometimes I just want to throw you out of the window." She took another bite.

"Is someone jealous?"

She tried to control herself. Not now, not now, not now... "Is someone testing out his limits?"

She heard the fridge open. "That's my mission as your brother. So yes, I am." He then groaned. "Don't we have any milk left?"

Nya turned around, accepting seeing her brother covered in only a white towel. "Nope." She took another bite of her toast.

Kai raised an eyebrow at her. "Why are you up so early?"

"I could ask you the same thing."

Her brother rolled his eyes. "Sky's gonna show up in a bit. Now, why are you up? Any plans?"

"Mhm," She swallowed down her bite. "I'm gonna spend the day with Jay. He's gonna pick me up at nine." She casually answered.

"What!" Kai exclaimed, narrowing his eyes at her.

"What 'what'?" She asked.

"You're gonna go on a date with someone we both haven't met in ages? Without telling me first?!" He crossed his arms, water dripping down from his hair.

Now she rolled her eyes. "Calm down, porcupine. No one said it was a date, so it's not a date. And we're just gonna spend the day together in honor of the time we've lost. You have nothing to worry about."

"Alright, first," He showed up one finger to her. "I'm just going to ignore the insult. And second, Nya, you're still going out with a boy. I expect you to talk to me first." He then sighed. "Is he gonna pick you up here?"

"Yeah."

"Good."

"Why?" She raised an eyebrow.

He looked her dead in the eyes. "Because I still have to warn him and tell him to treat you well, or else he's not gonna experience a tomorrow. You know, the usual stuff."

Nya laughed a little. "Fine, but don't be too harsh on him. Besides, he's still traumatized from when Skylor warned him on Thursday, I don't want him to run away because of you."

He chuckled. "I'll try." Then he came over to her and embraced her in a hug. "I love you, sis."

She let out a fake groan. "Love you too, but I will not forgive you for making me wet." She said as she pulled away, smiling.

Kai laughed until he started to lean his head down to Nya and shake it furiously like a dog, sending water droplets all over her.

"Kai! Stop!" She screamed as she tried to shield her face with her open palms. After he stopped and looked at her, smiling sheepishly, she glared at him, definitely not amused. "Words cannot describe how much I'd trade you for a sip of water." She said in a monotone voice.

The wet boy pointed at her with finger guns and smiled. "That's my sister!"

She rolled her eyes. "Whatever. I'm gonna take a shower. Leave me alone." Then she walked upstairs and went into her room. There she took out her bathrobe and hair brush and made her way into the bathroom. When she walked inside, she groaned when she saw her brother's dirty clothes laying on the ground.

"Kai, I'm telling you this for one. last. time. DON'T PUT YOUR DISGUSTING CLOTHES ON THE GROUND, THERE IS LITERALLY A LAUNDRY BASKET A FEW FEET AWAY, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

She waited a little. Then she heard him scream back. "FINE, I'LL THINK ABOUT IT NEXT TIME!"

"I HOPE SO!"

Then she quickly put his laundry into the basket and got under the shower.

After around thirty minutes, Nya came out of the bathroom, wearing her blue bathrobe. She heard the loud TV from downstairs and supposed Kai was sitting on the couch, hopefully wearing clothes.

The raven haired girl walked into her room and locked the door, not wanting her brother to blast in when she was changing. She looked into the mirror of her wardrobe, seeing herself covered in a thick robe with a red towel (stolen from Kai) wrapped around her wet hair. Then she opened her wardrobe and looked inside, unsure of what to wear.

"Why didn't I already choose what to wear yesterday?" She wondered to herself.

After a lot of struggle, she finally decided to wear something casual, given the fact that Jay hadn't told her where they'd go to. So she quickly got dressed and took another look into her mirror. Her dark blue, skinny ripped jeans was complimented by a baby blue cropped T-shirt. By that time, her hair was almost completely dry, so she put it in her signature high ponytail, leaving out a few strands as well as her bangs.

Nya wasn't a girl that liked to wear much make up, so she decided to wear mascara and a light layer of lipgloss. Taking her phone, which had a twenty dollar bill inside of its baby blue phone case, she made her way out of her room.

While she was heading over to the stairs, she heard voices. More than one. She detected one voice as her brother's, but the other one was still too far away to tell whose it was.

"Hey Kai, who are you-" She said while walking into the living room, but suddenly stopping in her tracks as she saw that Kai was sitting on the couch, talking to Jay who was sitting on the armchair across.

"Oh, hey Nya!" Jay beamed, getting even more excited now that he saw her.

She waved her hand as she was walking over to the couch, taking a seat next to her brother. "Hey Jay." She simply said back, not knowing what else to say.

"Took you long enough, sis!" Kai sassed.

Nya frowned. "What do you mean?"

"We've been waiting for you for twenty minutes now." He laughed, seeing Nya's eyes widen.

"What?!" She blurted out. Then she punched Kai in his shoulder. "Why didn't you tell me to come down?"

Rubbing his shoulder, he glared at his sister. "I wanted to, but that dude," He pointed at Jay who was a little bit redder than usual. "told me it was okay and that you should 'take the time you need'."

Turning her head towards Jay, she saw a slight hint of red in his face as he started to explain. "Yeah, I mean we have all day, no need to be in a rush." He smiled, looking down to his hands.

"Also, it gave me time to talk to him a little." When Nya gave him a worried look, Kai laughed a little. "Don't worry, he's still the softie he used to be."

"Hey!" Jay playfully shouted as he grabbed the red pillow in his armchair and threw it towards the other male.

Kai dodged easily, laughing as he got back up. Nya watched them, smiling the whole time. She didn't know what to say or do, so she just enjoyed their little bonding time.

Jay then turned towards her. "Wanna go now?" He stood up, looking down at her, smiling.

She nodded, getting up from the couch. Kai then opened his mouth. "But you'll be-"

"Yes, we'll be back for dinner at seven." Jay playfully rolled his eyes.

Once the door closed behind them, Nya breathed in the hot summer air. Light wind blew in her face as they both walked towards a blue Porsche which was parked on the other side of the road.

"So, what are we gonna do?" She asked him.

As they came closer to the car, Jay quickly opened the passenger door for her, smiling at her as she smiled back, getting in the car. When he himself sat down on the driver's seat, he didn't start the car yet. Instead, he looked at her. He locked the car's doors in front of her, making her frown a little. She gave him a questioning look.

"Ah, just gonna kidnap you." He smiled at her devilishly.

Don't judge me, I needed to come up with something to be able to end this chapter, or else it would've been way too long.
