Shaking my head I jog up the steps. It's dark outside, my stomach hurts, and my head feels like it's been shot.

I want to go home.

Footsteps jog up behind me. Turning, I see Cor slowly coming up after me.

I turn and smirk. "Beat you there," I challenge, and run.

I sprint up the steps, surprised that my legs and stomach could make the trip. When I'm finally at the top I spin around.

Cor is only half way up. "Oh, come on Cor!" I say. "You let a girl beat you!"

Cor laughs. "I didn't let you beat me. I just didn't try to win. I did not want to run up these steps." After a long second he adds, "I, unlike you, don't have a strong stomach." He meets me at the top of the steps.

I roll my eyes and tilt my head at him. "I drank so much beer last night, I don't know how I'm walking... I just woke up a couple hours ago... Plus I'm a girl... I just beat you... Running up steps!" I pant between sentences, greedily taking in deep breathes.

Leona finally meets up with us. "Oh, look at these love birds!"

Cor rolls his eyes. "I'm a hundred percent that's illegal, Leona. You should know."

Leona rubs her arms and nods. "Yeah, I know."

I flinch, remembering what happened when her and Leo had an "infatuation" with eachother.

*Beginning of Junior year*

Leona rushed up to Leo, kissing his cheek. "Good morning." She smiles at him, her white teeth all but glistening.

Leo kisses her cheek and whispers in her ear. She giggles uncontrollably and slaps his shoulder.

"Enough with the kisses and secret giggles." Arius laughs, joking with Leona. He wasn't so much joking with Leo.

Arius and Leo, now there's a pair that's been through stuff. Good and Bad.

Leo squints at Arius, kissing Leona's temple.

"Leona Ella Osbourne and Leo Escalade Orion." The whole class turns. Capri stands next to an Elder. But not just any Elder.

One of the Gemini Elders, Castor.

I almost rush up for an autograph. He nods to me and Minley respectfully. "Glad to see my choices are doing good."

I nod back and control what emotions lurk inside. Excitement being my biggest problem.

The Leo couple however... They look terrified. Most glare at Capri, calling her a tattle tale. A snitch, they yell.

But me and Minley just stare. We stare because our Elder, at least one half of our Elder, stands before us.

Castor smiles. "Wish my twin was here. He would be happy to see you both."

A small laugh escapes my throat. "Well, bring him next time!" I yell, all in good notion of course.

He laughs as he walks to us. "You better hope I don't come back, Gem."

He spins on his heals to look at Leona and Leo. "You two however, will be coming with me."

Leo shakes his head. "Please. Let us stay."

Castor grabs Leona and Leo and shoves them out the door. "Don't know when or if they'll be back." He gives us all an evil smile and leaves, a scent of hatred left behind.

Capri tries to talk to almost everyone, nobody talks to her.

She's a tattle tale, and this could get two people killed.

Leona and Leo stayed gone for two weeks. More or— maybe just two or a little over two weeks.

When they came back though, they would give each other side glances. They would smile and then cringe up.

They never looked at each other with infatuation again. Never. Not even to this day.

Leona shakes her head and walks away, looking at the ground like it holds all the secrets.

"Poor girl." I mutter under my breath.

"Yeah. I didn't mean that. It's not like I've never broken the most important rule before." Cor says. He shuffles his feet in the dirt. "Gem?"

I perk up. "Yeah, Cor?"

Cor widens his eyes like he knows he's about to do something wrong, but shrugs. It's not illegal for friends to be together, right? We should hang out Tuesday night. I know a really good pizza place."

Pizza? I hate anything besides Hawaiian combo and meat lovers. "Yeah, sure. As long as you don't hate fruit on pizza."

He shoves his hands in his pockets. "He giving you a crap time?" He points to Chancler, who is happily holding his girlfriends hand while skipping to his car.

I purse my lips. He was so wrong at the party. But now, he seems like a whole other person. "No. I think he was just drunk."

Cor widens his eyes. "So were the rest of you guys. Did you ever figure out what Arius meant early this morning? When we dropped him off?"

I shake my head. "But I can't wait to see how school on Tuesday goes."

Cor groans. "Shit! Tuesday! School!" He growls and mutters more useless words under his breath

"What happened?" I ask.

"I took Arius to the hospital this morning right? Well I bumped into Cance, she said she was looking for you. Than she just started yelling at me. She had some obscene idea that Chancler did what he did because Arius told him to. Or maybe it was Aquaria... I don't know, she said something about an Aquarius."  He calms his expression down. "She was... Gibber jabbering like usual."

Nothing makes sense anymore. I should just walk off the face of the earth. Life is complicated, and I'm completely lost.

"I'm so done with fortune cookie answers. Did they say what was wrong with Arius?" I ask, wondering what had happened to him. I highly doubt what Cance was saying was true. Arius would never do something like that. His heart was too big.

Cor ruffles through his jacket, pulling out hot hands— hand warmers. "Doctors said he OD'd."

That's not right. "But he doesn't do drugs."

Cor shakes his head. "Not what the autopsy says. Anyways, I have to uh... get back to work." Cor coughs into his hands, shivering the crisp air. "Bye, Gem. I hope you figure this all out. See you Tuesday?"

I nod to Cor. "See you Tuesday."

But in reality, I'm not paying attention to Cor. I'm paying attention to Chancler.

Leona grabs my arm, and guides me back to Aria's jeep.

Oh god oh god oh god... I did it again..... I posted ANOTHER filler, what am I doing????

Gotta get my act together!

Gosh, how I wish I could drive through my brain and figure out what's going on in there... Oh, I probably wouldn't find much.

Speaking of driving though above, or the the side or whatever, is Aria's car. I don't know about you, but I think it fits her perfectly. A Jeep Wrangler Sahara...
