Laughing at everyone's sick faces, I get of the Sling. I'm almost a hundred percent sure everyone hates me at the moment, but I'm okay with that. They'll get over it, especially Leona. She was actually smiling at the end.

And that surprised me. I knew I went on the Sling with a group of people who weren't complete woosies, but I figured someone would back out. But nobody did.

But that doesn't surprise as much as what I saw on the ride. Gem and Cor... Now there's a topic I saw coming.

Gem— as secretive as she thinks she is— is about the easiest person to read. Sure she has flips, but I always know the choices that she might flip too.

Cor— as hard as he thinks he is to read— his eyes tell a story. And his eyes were saying some deep shit when he looked at Gem.

But who am I to judge? Who wouldn't jump on the Cor train? He's... Mysterious, smart, perspective. Not someone I would picture Gem with.

But here I am, calling it now, they'll end up together.

And here is where I fall into this fiasco. IF they were to get together... It would throw half the class off balance. The whole class, actually. The teacher would be fired— not that I care. But my dad would be fired too, from his job in the Elder's consorts.

The Elders go to my father all the time for advice. Every single day, it seems like. He is in charge of making sure everything falls in place in the end.

We're not in fourth grade anymore. We can't date whoever.

Were graduating in five months... Five months!

If they kiss... Run away together... Prove they're in love in any way at all... My dad will be fired. And that affects me greatly.

It affects everyone.

I could be a snitch— tattle tale my little heart out. Replace Gem and Cor with a different Gemini and Scorpio.

Or, I could sit back and watch this all go down. I could, help them in any way possible.

Watch the elders panic for what they've done to all of us. Put us in a world with no choices.

So no, I'm not going to be a tattle tale.
