A/N - I own everything in this story and I tried my best to make it historically accurate, but no promises though, as I might have to look up websites and such to make sure it's accurate since I forgot nearly everything I learnt in my old history class as I only remember the most important parts, but not the minor details. Dorothy slowly opens the door and closes it as she looks around... and sees her older sister in front of her.
"Hello... dear sister..." Rebecca smirked sinisterly.
"... Rebecca..." Dorothy muttered.

"Where have you been?" Rebecca asked with a sly smile.
"Ahem... just going out, that's all," Dorothy lied.
"Well..." Rebecca looks at her suspiciously, "You have been going out a lot, recently,"
"It's none of your business!" Dorothy told her off.

"... Have you been having an affair, perhaps?" Rebecca asked her.
"O-Of course not, sister!" Dorothy lied again, "Why would you think that?!"
"Well, Considering you spending less time on your fiancé and more time on 'going out'..." Rebecca told her, "That is quite suspicious if you ask me,"
"... I'm not seeing another man..." Dorothy lied again.

Rebecca raises her eyebrow and looks at her, looking as if she's not completely convinced.
"You know... if father finds out, he'll be completely outrage," Rebecca told her, "Unless he's white and even richer then James, that is, if not... oh boy, you'll be in big trouble,"
"I'm not cheating!" Dorothy barked back angrily.

"You yelling at a pregnant woman?" Rebecca 'gasped', "Have you no shame?"
"..." Dorothy stayed silent.
"That's what I thought..." Rebecca replied.
"I'm not cheating... I swear!" Dorothy said, "I just need a lot of fresh air, that's all!"
"... Fine, I believe you," Rebecca smirked as she walks away.

Dorothy sighed of relief and shakes her head.
"She's clearly onto me!" She thought, "I have to be more careful from now on!"
