Jack's P.O.V.

" You saved me." I said, tears pricking my eyes, " You saved me."

I sobbed and threw myself onto Mark. He fell backwards onto the bed, me straddling him.

" This was just like our first big fight." Mark snickered.

I smiled, feeling the tears still stained on my face. I traced my finger along Mark's jawline before bopping his nose.

" I kicked your ass." I giggled.

Felix coughed loudly.

" Well, I should go to school. Mark can stay with yah here bro." Felix said.

He jumped out my window and walked off. Mark and I stared at each other's eyes for a long time. I crawled off him and shifted. I curled up on my bed and sighed. Mark shifted as well and curled up around me. His jet black fur was so soft. I rolled over, my icy blue eyes looking into his soft red ones. He smiled, showing his pointy k9s. I exhaled loudly and curled into Mark's chest.

" Your fur is so soft Mark." I cooed.

I looked at my pale green fur and sighed.

" Hey, you actually have your alpha mark already." Mark scoffed, gesturing to my Septiceye Sam on my back left leg.

" You'll get yours!" I reassured.

We sat in silence for a while. We were back as humans, just because. I had my arms dangling off the bed and was in my back. I was staring at the ceiling. I could feel Mark's warm body next to mine. Mark rolled over so he was straddling me.

" M--ma--" I was cut off my Mark's lips smashing into mine.

I kissed him back passionately, wrapping my arms around his back. It was a simple, innocent kiss at first, but things started to get deeper. Mark kissed me more deeper and licked my bottom lip. Jack's Dad's P.O.V.

I walked in the door. I came home a bit early to check on Jack and Felix. I had just arranged a marriage alliance with the Slashpaw clan. Their very sweet and kind daughter Signe, had been willing to marry my son. I was relieved to have another ally to help us with these awful Sawtooths. I dropped my bags and froze. I smelled a repulsive odor coming from upstairs. I shifted into my black coat with white flecks and crept upstairs.

Jack's P.O.V.

" Mark!" I whisper cried out.

" Hmm?" Mark groggily asked, fixing his askew glasses.

" My dad is coming. I need you to hide, like now." I hissed.

Mark crawled under the bed while I hid under the covers.

My dad prowled into the room, he was shifted.

" The fuck are you doin' pa?" I said ' sleepily '.

" Sèan... I smell some awful shite in 'ear." he growled.

My dad's accent was much thicker than mine, making him rather hard to understand to most.

" I don't smell anything." I lied.

" Hmm... just... don't be near any of 'em drugs son." my dad mumbled.

Mark creeped out from under my bed slowly. He was shifted, it was the only way his muscular self could fit under my small bed. I looked at his pretty self, smiling like a complete dumbass.

" That was awfully close Jack." Mark breathed.

I giggled. I was still exhausted from our interesting experience. Mark crawled back up into my bed and hugged me tightly.

" Jack. I have to go. I'll be back just... I have to do something." Mark sighed.

There was a tone in his voice that made me suspicious.

" Mark... what's wrong?" I said cautiously.

" It's... it's... it's really nothing." Mark said, looking to the side.

" Mark." I said more firmly, " I'm coming. I don't care if you don't want me to see. I'll follow you. We're here for each other now. We gotta help each other out. I'm coming cause I love you."

" Fine. But... I'm going to tell you before hand... I'm sorry." Mark said sorrowfully.
