First Day

Chris's POV
My first day of college was the next day and to be completely honest I wasn't at all ready for it. The classes of course were fucking impossible but I guess that's college for ya. The only reason I got through the day was because of someone I met. His name was Connor O'Donnel. He was the first person to make me feel welcome at Tulane University.

Tulane University was pretty big. But back to Connor, he was really nice. What I noticed about him though was that he was the type of guy who was sometimes a sarcastic best friend who would do anything to keep his friends out of harms way. He'd always want to shelter them from the pain. And that was pretty cool because that was basically me.

Anyway we were on our way off college campus because class was over and he had this crazy idea to go clubbing. At first I had declined, saying that I was inexperienced when the truth was I didn't have good memories of doing such a thing. But somehow he managed to convince me that us single guys needed to go out and look for someone to tie the knot with. I think 'tying the knot' was more something he needed to do. He was two years older than me so I wasn't surprised. I mean he'd be graduating college soon and wanting to marry was normal.

I honestly decided to go to be supportive of him. I had made a friend and I didn't want to dishonor it by not supporting him. So I agreed to go. On our way to the club I was talking to him about the night I got here.

"So when I went to the bar across the street, a guy walked up to me and started talking." I say. I admit he was actually hot and it wasn't something I took lightly. I'm not gay but I'm bi.

Connor grinned. Did he say what his name was?"

"Klaus Mikaelson." I say.

Those words wiped Connor's smile off his face. "Seriously? Chris that guy is bad news. You should stay away from him."

"Bad news how?"I wanted to know.

"He's just bad news. Please Chris. For your own good...stay away from him."
