Finding Swan

"Lara, I'm freezing," Regina said, shivering.
"It's not far now, Regina." Lara assured her younger sister, who stopped at this comment.
"You said that five minutes ago!" She shouted to Lara, who continued trudging through the snow and was now very far ahead. She stopped and looked back.
"It's just up the next hill. Come on, there's no time to stop." She said before turning around and continuing.
Regina sighed and ran through the knee deep snow as fast as she could, trying to catch up to her sister.
"Lara, wait u-" She screamed as she fell.
"Regina!!" Lara yelled, running back towards her sister, who had fallen face first into the deep snow. She took her arm and pulled her out. "Be careful. Stay in front of me."
Regina nodded and took the lead, following her sister's directions.

"Stay back. And give me your jacket." Regina hid behind the rock and began to remove the white item that kept her warm.
"What do you need it for?" She asked, confused.
"Travel light. So long as you get in there quickly, you won't need to worry about your body temperature. It'll be boiling in that vent." Her sister told her as she dug through her bag, eventually pulling out a small object, a penknife. "But take this."
"You're not coming?" Regina asked.
"I can't. But if you aren't out in 48 hours, I'm coming in after you." Lara assured her. "I'll be in a nearby cave. Be careful." Regina nodded, and watched her sister turn and look for a cave before she looked ahead at the large building, Trinity's headquarters.

She had planned it out in her head pretty well as she made her way closer to the base. Finding a vent was her first challenge.

She examined the building and found a small roof vent at the top. She jumped over one of the large fences, cutting herself slightly on the barbed wire as she jumped down. She felt the warm, sticky fluid begin to run down her arm, but she couldn't stop. Especially not here. She held the wound for a short while until she reached the building. Taking both of her hands and placing them in front of her, she steadied herself and jumped up, scrambling up the wall and grabbing hold of a small brick that stuck out ever so slightly. She grabbed onto it tightly, but it was a little bit slippery due to the thin sheet of ice that covered it. Nevertheless, she quickly managed to find a way to get up onto the roof, it would only take one jump. With both of her feet on the wall and her hands clinging onto the brick, she used them to push herself upwards, quickly scrambling up the wall and grabbing the ledge that was the roof. She hung from it, inhaling and exhaling deeply and quickly to regain her breath. She looked down and realised that it wasn't that high up. The bunker must be mainly underground. She pulled herself upwards and rolled over the ledge before jumping down quietly to the roof.

The large, silver vent stood tall above her, but nothing would get in her way. She was determined to do this, for her sister, and for the soldier.
She jumped and grabbed onto it before pulling herself head first, straight down into the vent.

As she fell, she realised that this may not have been the best way to come down, but as soon as she saw the bottom of the vent she put her arms out fast to stop herself from falling, making a loud noise and possibly breaking something, all of which would probably have resulted in her death.

She slowly got out of her handstand position and crawled through the vent, following the marker on the tracker.

"Here's the report." The Swan said as she placed a heavy file on her commander's desk.
"On time, just about." He scolded. He picked up the large file and flicked through it. "Excellent. Thank you, Lieutenant Swan." She nodded and turned around, leaving the office for her bunk. This was the area of the bunker she'd always despised. All of the 'dickheads', as she'd call them, hanging around being complete and total assholes, shouting things at her as she would walk through. She was glad when she had found out her recent promotion to Lieutenant. If they tried to say anything to her this time, well, they were in for it.

She tried to walk as fast as she could, trying not to be noticed by them. But it wasn't her lucky day.

"Hey! Look who it is!" She heard a voice.
"Lesbitron Swan!!" This time, a group of voices shouting in harmony with one another. One jumped off the bunk.
"What happened to your girlfriend, you slut?" He said.
"Oh, shut the fuck up, will you, Jones?" She told him abruptly.
"Or you'll what?" He asked.
"You really want to question my motives?" She replied. He quickly punched her in the jaw. Her head was pushed to the side by this, and the other men laughed and began to cheer for their fellow soldier. The male one, of course, in a group of 99% men, there would obviously be sexism. They never thought she could succeed. They started to yell things, such as "woman", "lesbian" and "weak", amongst many other things.
'I'm not taking your bullshit,' she thought as she quickly moved her head back to face him and looked at him with an expressionless face. With one swift move, she pulled her fist back and drove it right into the man's nose, which instantly threw him back. He held his nose and felt the blood running down. He dared not try again. Everyone fell silent, the cheering stopped.

"It's Lieutenant to you all." She broke the silence and left.

There were benefits to being both Lieutenant and one of the only women soldiers working for Trinity. For starters, she got her own private bunk, which was only extended when she had her promotion. But maybe it was a little too big. Especially as she's alone. She walked into her room and started searching the young girl once more on her laptop. Still nothing.

Then she remembered. She dug through her bag and found a small item, taking it out and turning it on.
"Damn it, it's locked", she muttered to herself. "Okay, what would the passcode be..."
She tried the easy ones, like 0000 and 1234, but of course Regina was too smart to choose something like that. Emma didn't know much about her, except she was a great kisser and that she wanted to fuck her again.
In desperation, she plugged the phone into her laptop and did it from there. She opened a program and typed in a few lines of code and she was in. As the photo gallery opened she unplugged the phone. She selected the camera option and scrolled through them.
"Dear god, Regina, why do you have to be so hot?" She whispered, orgasming slightly at these pictures of the girl. She quickly plugged the phone back into the computer and copied all of the picture files across.

Regina, meanwhile, continued to crawl through the vents, following the tracker, which began to lose the signal.
"Dammit," she whispered. But she didn't stop, she needed that phone.
The tracker had lost the signal, but sue carried on crawling through. She could look through the small gaps to see who had it, and so she did.

Emma heard a strange noise. She quickly looked up at the wall vent. Nothing. She must be imagining things. She dismissed the sound and finished off copying the pictures before she unplugged the phone.
She walked towards her bed and threw her body onto it.

Regina sat in the vents and watched her from the moment she had gotten onto the bed. Then she saw the phone on the desk. She'd have to be tactful if she was going to get it back. She lifted the vent slightly and pushed it outwards to remove it.
Emma heard heard a loud metal clang and grabbed her gun from the bedside table, got up and aimed it at the brunette.
Regina didn't make a sound, she didn't want to draw any attention.
"Don't break the bed," she giggled quietly.
"What?" Emma looked at the girl confused for a second.
"Babe, it's me." She whispered.
"Is it really you?" Emma threw the gun down and took the girl's face and held it gently in her hands. It was really her. She took one of her hands and stroked her head gently, then proceeded to approach her for a kiss. Regina accepted and the two shared a long kiss for about a minute. Emma pulled back and Regina smiled at her, shying away slightly and looking down at the Swan's shoes. Emma placed her finger on Regina's chin lifted her head back up so they once again made eye contact.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"I missed you." Regina went back in for a kiss.
