Ch. 2
Zelda walked around the Castle's perimeters as she held the Sheikah Slate. Seeing that Yiga boy was quite, thrilling. She sighed softly as she looked at the Slate in hand, remembering taking multiple pictures of many places. She swiped through each and saw a selfie of Urbosa with Daruk, the both stealing it when she wasn't looking. She smiled a little then realized something; she could go see Urbosa about this. Zelda needed all the help she can get, even from her mother figure. Zelda had her since her own mother's death as she went to the royal stables for her trusted steed. She gotten her saddled up, climbing right on as she saw her guard walking by.
"Princess what are you doing?" The guard walked up to her as she looked a little nervous. She knew the guard knew she had to unlock her hidden power but she had to see Urbosa, knowing she needed some guidance.
"Off to the Gerudo Desert, I need some assistance." Zelda responded. She rather go see Urbosa than seeing her come here with all eyes on her as she spoke with the chieftain. It wasn't about the hidden power, it was about Link. Zelda quickly took off as her horse jumped the gate, the guard moving out of the way as they took off down the trail. She watched passing people, some moving out of the way or steering their own steed off trail as she yelled out apologies. Zelda watched as she made it to the Gerudo Canyon Stable, getting her horse in a stall as she was prepared to make the rest of the trek on foot.
"Hello princess," A Gerudo stepped from the chair she was seated on, smiling. "I can take you back, Little Bird."
Zelda knew who it was as she ran up to her, hugging her quickly. "Urbosa, I was about to come see you." She noticed something different and smiled. "You're expecting?"
"Why yes, I am." The Gerudo answered, chuckling slightly. "Let's get to the Town huh?"
"That would be delightful." Zelda turned as she walked out of the stable, Urbosa following behind as she picked up her little bird, carrying her to the sand seal. She made sure Urbosa was tied on, smiling a little as she got on her shoulders. "How far along are you?"
"Not long." Urbosa answered as they sailed through the sand, the heat starting to get to the Princess of Hyrule. "Just a few weeks, you just noticed?"
"Well, yes." Zelda sighed as she looked around. They passed Kara Kara Bazaar as she remembered seeing the Yiga attacking as she looked down at Urbosa."Urbosa, can I be honest?"
Urbosa shook her head. "Not until we get to town hun. I want you to be honest in a slightly cooler environment with refreshments and food. Have your father been feeding you?" She was such a mom.
Zelda giggled a bit with a smile. "Yes, I have been eating but I also had been going to Hateno Village and out to Akkala when I see Mipha and little Sidon."
"That Zora princess?" Urbosa watched as the seal stopped outside the gate as they got off, Urbosa getting her shield as she set Zelda down. "She is really nice."
"She is but slightly absent-minded." Zelda agreed. "She can be focused but at times, a bit forgetful." They walked through the gate as they strolled to the palace ahead. The two women walked past the guards at the stairs and into the throne room.
Urbosa sat down on her throne as she sighed in complete relieve. "It's so nice to get out of the sun and off my feet. Just relax for a bit with my best friend daughter's. Now, what do you have to say?"
"You cannot tell anyone." Zelda quickly said as she sat down on the step next to the throne, Urbosa holding her hand.
"You know me, I won't tell a soul." Urbosa promised.
Zelda took a deep breath as she saw the Gerudo's eyes widen. "You're not pregnant-"
"No!" Zelda's face grew red in embarrassment as she sighed. "It's not pregnancy, I met someone who saved my life and betrayed his clan. He's a really nice Yiga-"
"A Yiga?!" Urbosa stood up, looking upset as she crossed her arms. "Zelda, they can't be trusted! No matter what, they could betray you!"
"His name is Link!" That stopped time. It felt like time was freezing up on them all. Urbosa looked shocked, knowing history from the Era of the Sky that there was a Hero named Link.
"...I, what? Link, is a Yiga?" Urbosa breathed as she leaned back onto her throne, her hand over her stomach. "How can that be?"
"I'm not sure but he was abandoned as a child." Zelda replied as she leaned against the arm of the chair. "It was hard on him, he hates how he's like. He wants out of the Yiga, he just does."
"Only way out is death." Urbosa warned. "How can you get him out?"
Zelda sigh through her nose. "I'll find a way. I need the Master Sword first."
Urbosa leaned her arm on the chair, sighing. "He is the Hero of Hyrule, and he needs out. We could help out, all of us Champions."
"Thank you, Mother Urbosa." Zelda stood and hugged her tightly, smiling. "I owe you."
"Not quite little bird. Now, let us plan it all out." She took her Sheikah Slate and typed something in, seeing the Champions appearing on screen. Revali was in the Flight Range, Daruk at Darunia Lake, Mipha at the waterfall supposedly teaching Sidon how to swim up them and Urbosa right in Gerudo Town. Urbosa typed something down and sent it to all, even herself. "They're on their way to Kakariko."
