Monday evening. You're still under the nurse's surveillance. You sit on the edge of the hospital bed, dangling with your feet. "Miss Y/L/N", you suddenly hear a voice say. Snape. You turn to face him. "I...", he starts saying. He's carrying a bouquet of flowers. He walks around the bed and places them on the table with the other flowers you've gotten. "I...", he says again. "Yes?", you say and cross your arms. "I'm sorry", he says, looking kinda sad. "I know... I can't help thinking, blaiming myself, about what happened to you, and the baby. If I haven't... If I haven't given Loki that ultimatum, if I haven't come between you... Things would be different. You wouldn't be here, the baby...". You're shaking with anger, and sadness. "You just had to, didn't you? You just had to follow the rules! And look what being a slave to them did! They killed an innocent unborn child. Loki's child", tears stream down your face. You're so mad at him, you want to slap him, but before you manage to say anything, Snape embraces you. You push him away, but he pulls you back in. You know he's just trying to comfort you, and suddenly you just give in. You let him hold you while you cry your eyes out. "I never ment for this to happen", Snape says. "I was just... Obeying the rules. I hate disorder, and what you and Loki did, well... Such reckless behavior. But I take the blame for what happened to the baby". You sniffle. "No, no it's not your fault". You can't believe the words coming out of your mouth. Not Snape's fault... It wasn't. You're the one that didn't eat, sleep or carry on like normal, even though you knew that you and Loki eventually would be together again. You did not think rationally or act with care about the changes your body was going through. You failed. "It's all my fault. What you did, not giving us up, letting Loki keep his job, and letting me stay in school. I didn't think for one second that you were breaking the rules too, keeping it to yourself. But you did. I was the one who got my body and baby in trouble", you cry even more. "It's all my fault". You break away from Snape to look at him. "Have you talked to Loki?", you ask. "No. I've tried to contact him, but he keeps sending back my letters", Snape sigh. "I truly am sorry for what happened to you. Please tell him that when you see him again", Snape gesutures to leave. "If I see him again", you say and look down. "You will", Snape says while he walks away.
