"I don't want to go!" Albus shouted in rage.  He was pacing the room, waving his arms in anger.

Scorpius sat on the bed watching his boyfriend in amusement.  "You can't hate your family that much, can you?"

"They like James the best, anyway!  I'm sure they wouldn't miss me if I stayed here!" Albus said.  "But noI have to go home for Christmas!"

"Free presents?" Scorpius offered.

"I usually get stupid books about being more social," Albus muttered.  "Oh, and a lame sweater from mom."

"Free food?"

"Once James has a go at the food, there's none left," Albus said bitterly.  Scorpius laughed.

"You could come to my house for Christmas," Scorpius suggested.  "Under a code name or something."

"I wish.  But my family would find out where I was.  They have this stupid clock that tells them where each family member is," Albus told him.

"That's so cool!" Scorpius exclaimed.

"No its not.  Its the most annoying thing ever.  Its the only reason I haven't run away from home yet," Albus sighed.

"I'll write to you every day," Scorpius promised.  "You won't feel alone."

"I'll write back, and I will think of you every second of break, but it won't be the same as when we're here," Albus shrugged.

"Get a teddy beat and pretend its me," Scorpius suggested.

"What if my parents barge in on me making out with it?" Albus asked.

"Tell them you really love that teddy bear," Scorpius giggled.  Albus rolled his eyes.

"And tell them that your teddy bear is the mist important thing in the world," Scorpius continued, still laughing.  "And that you are entranced by the teddy bear's stunning beauty."

"Stunning beauty, eh?" Albus asked grinning.  "Someone's a little narcissistic."

Scorpius pretended to look offended.  "I thought you loved me!" he gasped dramatically.  "I feel personally attacked by your sarcasm."

Albus stared wistfully off into the distance.  How was he supposed to spend three week without this boy?  Three weeks without the laughter.  Three weeks without the kisses.  Three weeks without the play fights.  Three weeks without the only thing that Albus loved.

"They say the holidays are supposed to be about happiness," Albus said.  "But all I'm feeling right now is bah humbug."

"Albus, you gotta be positive!" Scorpius encouraged.  "If you think that the holidays are going to suck, then they will.  But if you hope for the best, you'll find that things may have taken a turn for the better!"

The blonde kid had a point.  But Albus's mind was dead set already that he was going to be in hell instead of heaven this holiday season.

"I'm gonna miss you too, Al," Scorpius murmured.

Sorry this one was a little short.... ❤❤ I promise the next one will be longer!
