Only The Beginning of Adventure

Many years went by in Narnia, and Dawn, Esther and the Pevensie siblings were now fully grown kings and queens. Narnia has been in peace since they were crowned, and not even one huge problem in the land. Like their world, Narnia continued having various seasons through the year unlike the time when it was always winter 24/7 for a hundred years. It was autumn in Narnia, and the six monarchs were sitting around the table for breakfast. Esther looked a little bit tired; maybe due to lack of sleep because of her feeling down about not being allowed to love and date Edmund.

Lucy smiled at the group. "Who wants to go horse back riding?" Her siblings and Dawn raised their hands, only not Esther. Everyone looked at Esther. "No thank you, I'm tired." Esther said.

"Are you sure, Est?" Edmund asked her. Esther nodded. "I am."

"What did you do that made you...sleepy?" Dawn asked her friend.

"I couldn't sleep last night." Esther yawned.

"Is it because of the argument with Aslan?" Dawn asked again, looking a little but concerned. Esther nodded. Edmund sighed sadly.

"I'm just going to go back to bed." Esther said as she got up from the dining table. "Ok, Esther." Edmund nodded. Esther went to bed and moaned. She went to sleep. As the five royal friends left the dining room, they were stopped by now middle-aged Mr. Tumnus. "Yes?" Lucy said to her friend.

"The white stag..I saw it." Mr Tumnus said. "Oh, where did it go?" Lucy asked, looking quite surprised.

"What's so special about the white stag, Mr. Tumnus?" Dawn asked the Faun.

"Well, the white stag is a deer and where ever it's from, is unknown." Mr. Tumnus began to explain. "Some say that whoever catches this stag, will have their wishes come true." Dawn smiled. "Oh my." She said in awe. "I wish my parents approve the love and friendship between me and these four." Mr. Tumnus smiled back. "You five should find it." He suggested them.

"Alright...but how long will it take us to find it?" Lucy asked. "What about Esther?"

"I'm sure she'll be fine." Edmund sighed.

"Hopefully." Susan said. The five friends went down to the stables to find their horses. Edmund got on Philip, Peter and Dawn got on their white horses, Susan got on her black horse and Lucy mounted her brown horse. They started to race against each other. They rode out of Cair Paravel and into the woods. The five friends galloped across the Stone Table, to where Aslan's camp once stood, and then they rode past the river and through the old forest. Edmund slowed down his horse while the other four galloped.

"Are you alright, Philip?" He asked as he petted his horse.

"I'm not as young as I once was." Philip sighed. Susan cantered towards Edmund. "Come on, Ed." She called.

"What are you doing?" Dawn asked.

"Coming!" Edmund called out. "Just catching my breath."

"That's all we can catch at this rate." Susan replied.

"What did he say again, Susan?" Lucy and Dawn asked.

"You girls wait in the castle. I'll get the stag myself." Susan joked. They all laughed at her comment. Peter then noticed something and dismounted his horse. "What's this?" He asked. They all got off their horses. The five friends walked closer to the landmark and noticed a lamppost, now covered in vines, up the post. "It looks so familiar..." Dawn gasped. Lucy nodded in agreement and got off her horse. "As if from a dream." Susan said.

"Or a dream of a dream." Lucy added. Then, something came in her mind. "Spare Oom." She gasped. She ran off.

"Lucy!" Peter shouted as he went after his sister.

"Not again." Susan groaned.

"Lu?"

"Come on!" Lucy shouted as she beckoned the others. The five kings and queens walked through the branches and the leaves which grew denser. Then they noticed some fur coats which they haven't seen them for such a long time.

"These aren't branches." Peter said. Edmund complained as he went through some leaves and coats.

"They're coats!" Susan corrected him.

"Ow! You're on my foot!" Edmund complained.

"Peter, move off!" Lucy whined. Then their voices change back into their children's voice.

"Ow, my hair!" Dawn yelled.

"Stop shoving!" Peter scolded.

"I'm not on your toe!" Edmund retorted and the five children fell out of the wardrobe and into the spare room. They were now back in Professor Kirke's mansion young again, and back in their usual clothes. They looked at themselves and each other, thinking what a long adventure they had. Seconds later, Professor walked in to the spare room.

"There you kids are." He said. "What were you doing in the wardrobe?"

"You wouldn't believe us if we told you, sir." Peter said to him.

Professor Kirk threw a ball. "Try me." He smiled. The children smiled back, yet nervously.

Can't close my eyes 🎵

And every hair on my body 🎵
Has got a thing for this place 🎵
Oh, empty my mind 🎵
I've got to make room for this feeling 🎵
It's so much bigger than me 🎵

That night, while everyone was asleep, Lucy went out of her bed and walked into the spare room. She approached the wardrobe and opened its door to get into Narnia once again.

"I don't think you will get in there that way." A voice said and she turned around to see Professor Kirke smoking pipe.

"You see..." He said as he walked towards Lucy. "I've already tried."

"Will we ever go back?" Lucy asked him.

"Oh, I expect so." Professor Kirke replied. "But it'll probably happen when you're not looking for it. All the same...best to keep your eyes open."

Lucy nodded, but still hoping that she will return to Narnia once again. She and the Professor walk led out the spare room and little did they know, the wardrobe door opened a little. The light shone out to the room with the sound of Aslan's roar.

It couldn't be any more beautiful 🎵
I can't take it in 🎵
Weightless in love, unraveling 🎵
For all that's to come 🎵
And all that's ever been 🎵
We're back to the board with every shade under the sun 🎵
Let's make it a good one 🎵
It couldn't be any more beautiful 🎵
It couldn't be any more beautiful 🎵
I can't take it in 🎵
I can't take it in 🎵
I can't take it in 🎵
Whoa 🎵

I can't take it in 🎵
More that I wonder 🎵
More that I wonder 🎵

Oh perilous place 🎵
Walk backwards toward you 🎵
Blink disbelieving eyes 🎵
Chilled to the bone 🎵
Most visibly brave 🎵
No apprehended bloom 🎵
First to take this foot to virgin snow 🎵
I am a magnet for all kinds of deeper wonderment 🎵
I am a Wunderkind, oh 🎵
And I lift the envelope pushed far enough to believe this 🎵
I am a princess on the way to my throne 🎵
Destined to serve, destined to roam 🎵
Oh ominous place 🎵
Spellbound and unchild-proofed 🎵
My least favorite shelter 🎵
Bear alone 🎵
Compatriots in face 🎵
They'd cringe if I told you 🎵
Our best back-pocket secret 🎵
Our bond full-blown 🎵
And I am a magnet for all kinds of deeper wonderment 🎵
I am a Wunderkind, oh 🎵
And I am a pioneer naive enough to believe this 🎵
I am a princess on the way to my throne 🎵
Destined to seek, destined to know 🎵
Most beautiful place 🎵
Reborn and blown off roof 🎵
My view about-face whether 🎵
Great will be done 🎵
I am a magnet for all kinds of deeper wonderment 🎵
I am a Wunderkind, oh 🎵
I am a ground-breaker naive enough to believe this 🎵
I am a princess on the way to my throne 🎵
I am a magnet for all kinds of deeper wonderment 🎵
I am a Wunderkind, oh 🎵
I am a Joan of Arc and smart enough to believe this 🎵
