I woke up feeling pretty good, I remembered last night, it was amazing, I loved it. I put on my robe over my pajamas, putts on my slippers and walk downstairs. "good morning Alicia, how did you sleep?" Dad asks. "I slept so well," I said and smiled. "good, sit down and eat some breakfast" dad said and continued reading the newspaper. "Good morning," Jack says, smiles and wink at me. I see him winking at me and instantly choke on my milk. Jack stopped walking and look at me really worried. "Oh my god, Alic!" Adelain says in an angry voice, cause i spit milk on her food and she is about to stand up to give me a napkin. "No sit down ill get it," Jack says and walks up to the counter and picks up a napkin and hands me it. "Omg, thank you," I say take it and wipe up the milk that I choked. "are you ok Alic?" dad asks and looking worried. "Yes I'm ok, I just choked a little no big deal," I say and laugh. Jack looks at me and is about to laugh, he shakes his head and turned around to pick up dads coffee cup. "I thought you were about to die," Evelyn says and laughs. "I thought so my self," I say, laugh and continue to eat my food.

After breakfast and everyone has left the table, I take my plate and glass, walk to the sink put my dishes in it. I look outside the window the sky is blue and the sun is shining brighter than ever and then I start to daydream a little, dream about leaving here, start my life for real, get a job, my own apartment, but most of all visit my mom, I don't want to move to London again, I just want to take my mom out of there, get her back on her feet. Then I feel hands on my arms, I am plashing. "Oh, my fucking hell!" I scream but kinda whisper at the same time. I turn around. Jack looks at me and can't stop smiling and laughing, I smile too but he is laughing too loudly I raise up my hands and cover his mouth, "Hush" I say and laugh. He calms down and grabs my hands in a ball in his hands and kisses them. "What were you looking at?" He asks. "Nothing, I was daydreaming a little," I say smile and turned around, back to looking out of the window. He holds me around my waist and leans his head down on my shoulder. "What were you dreaming about?" He asks and kisses my neck. "About leaving here, start my life fully, have my own place, maybe get a job," I say but Jack stops me. "Maybe get a job?" he asks, smiles and laughs a little, rocks me from side to side. I laugh, turn my head around and look in his eyes, play with his hair. "What else?" he asks. I turn around, look in his eyes and stroke his cheeks. "Mom," I say and go back to play with his hair. He looks at me, but I'm not, I am looking at his hair, but can see he wants to ask me something but doesn't just grab my head and kiss my forehead, and pulls me in a hug. I guess he knows or maybe just wants me to feel safe and that everything is okay.

I and Jack walk hand in hand to the hallway, and give each other a kiss and walk separate ways. I walk up to my room and changes clothes, sit at my desk put my earbuds in and start writing more stuff. Then all of a sudden I hear screaming, I take out my earbuds and try to listen to where the screaming is coming from. 

I walk out of my room and follow the screaming, I hear it get louder and louder, it comes from my dad's office I try to listen to what they say and then, someone walks to the door and opens it. "Jack?" I whisper but he just walked right past me looking very disappointed I tried to follow him. "Alicia, will you come in here for a moment? I want to talk with you" dad asks. I walk inside and close the door. "Yes, dad?" I ask with a smile. "Alicia, please stop the acting" dad says with his face in the palm of his hand. "What do you mean?" I ask looking suspicious. "I know about you and Jack," he says and looks at me with a serious face. Right then I couldn't think, what? how? we have been hiding everything. "Eehm," I say, and laugh a little. "I saw you to kissing," he says. I don't say anything just look at him. "Because it was you right?" he asks me like a trick question to make me confess. "ALICIA, ANSWER ME!" he screams banging his fist on the desk. "Yes, yes we have been dating, but we love each other," I say and have a kind of worried expression on my face. "You can't and you know that," dad says. "Yeah, but why?" I ask. "Because I say so," he says and turns his chair around. "Yes, but WHY?" I ask again looking at him with a straight face. "BECAUSE I SAY SO ALICIA!" he screams and pours himself a full glass of whiskey. "I will not give you any consequences now, BUT if I see you to together again... It will be" he says and drinks the whole glass. I turn around and walk out of his office and back into my room, I open the door and then I see Jack. I walk in and close the door he raises up from my bed and walks to me with open arms. "I am so sorry for putting you in so much trouble," I say and wipe my tears with his shirt. "No," He says and lifts my head kisses it "we just have to stay strong," He says, looks at me, I look at him and shake my head, I look down on the floor and look up and Jack looks at me, actually stares at me. He takes the hair in front of my face behind my ears. "Alicia, you are so beautiful" he says and looks deep in my eyes. "we can't do this, you will lose your job" I say, turned around and is supposed to go to my door, when suddenly he grabs my hand place his other hand on the back of my neck and kiss me. "I love you," Jack says. I stare at him looking shocked he just said that he loved me, holy fuck. "I like you to, but we can't do this," I say. "You can't say it," Jack says and looks on the floor. "I am so sorry Jack, it's just..." I say. "Alic I will never hurt you in any way, never," he says and kisses me on the head. "Thank you," I say and hug him. "For what?" he asks. "For being there, and understanding," I say. "Of course," he says and hugs me too. "You still up for the date number two?" he asks. I smile. "Love," I say, look up at him and continue. "Love is the strongest, most powerful weapon ever... you will always win if you have love" I look at him and smile. He smiles place his hands on my cheeks and kisses my nose. "You are so adorable," he says and kisses me. He then proceeds to put a note on my desk before walking out my door. I look at the note its a phone number I turn the note around, and its not just any phone number it is my moms. I am so glad seeing that she still has her phone and that I can call her. I lay in my bed and cry happy tears.

*Ring, Ring*

"Hello?" Mom. "Hi?" Alice. "Who is this?" Mom. "It is me... Alice your daughter" Alice. "No! really is that you Alicia?" Mom. "Hi, yes it's me, mom," I say and cry a little. "Hi baby," mom says and starts to cry. "Mom are you alright?" Alice. "No, I miss you and your sisters" Mom. "I want to come to visit you," I say. "No, Alice, you know you cant" Mom. "How are dad and you?" Mom. "Dad is drinking again" Alice. "I knew it, I knew he couldn't stop the drinking, he will never do" Mom. "But have you met any boys?" Mom. I laugh typical mom. "Well, there is this one boy" Alice. "No, omg Alice, tell me more, is he handsome, nice, treat you like the girl you are?" Mom. "Yes, yes and YES he is amazing, we are going on a second date tonight" Alice. "That's wonderful I'm so happy for you, now who is this guy?" Mom. "Okay, he is actually working for dad" Alice. "Alice, sweetheart" Mom. "Yeah?" Alice. "You know you can't do that" Mom. "Yeah but I don't understand why, like why is that so important?" I ask. "He hasn't told you yet, has he?" Mom asks. "What? everyone has secrets from me nowadays" Alice. "Alice honey, I need you to sit down, cause if he isn't going to tell you, then I am" I sit down on my bed and listen. "when we lived here, dad had another assistant and you liked each other very much, but he hurt you. and one night your dad drugged you so that you would fall asleep and so that dad could do his business with the assistant" Mom. "Dad killed him?" Alice. "Yes Alice your dad killed his assistant because he wouldn't follow his rules but mostly because he hurt you, and that's why you can't remember anything, we had to take you to the hospital because he had pushed you in to things and throw you around, you could have died, because of him, that's why dad doesn't want you to do this" Mom. "But Jack isn't like that, he is the nicest kindest person in the whole wide world and he cares for me, he has never played a hand on my mom" Alice. "I know, he sounds like a really nice guy" Mom. "You know?" Alice. "I know his mom" Mom. "Okay" Alice. "She is helping me recover from the divorce and helping me get my life back as it was" Mom. "That's great mom, I'm so happy" Alice. "Baby, I have to go okay?" Mom. "Okay mom, I love you" Alice. "I love you to baby" Mom.

My dad drugged me to kill his assistant. what? I can't understand. I look at the clock 19.30 I should go take a shower and get dressed. I put on a grey sweater and a pair of black leggings. Just something simple. I look outside my window again and Jack is standing there ready to meet me, he also didn't put on anything special tonight. Now the same as I did yesterday, I sneak out of my room turn of the lights, close the door and sneak down the stairs. "Hi," I say walking towards him and jumped in his arms. "thank you so much for giving me the note, "I say and hug him tight. "Of course anything for you," He says and holds me up. "But how did you get it?" I ask. "My mom," He says. "Oh, of course, sorry," I say and hug him. "Have you talked to.," I say but Jack stopped me. "Yes I have talked to your mom and I know," he says and hugged me tighter and stroked my back. I start to cry a little. "But everything is fine, you have me now and I will always protect you," he says and kisses me on the cheek. He let me down on the ground again. "You said that you would never hut me," I say and look at him. "I didn't know," He said. "You knew this whole time what had happened to me, you knew what had happened to my mom, is that why you didn't say anything when I mentioned her earlier today?" I asked looking shocked and sad. "Yes, but your father said to me that you don't remember anything so he didn't want me to tell you," He said he had a different expression on his face now stressed out and I didn't like it, i walked to him, he was standing with his back towards me, I walked in front of him. "I'm so sorry for everything" is all he could say. I took my arms around his neck and kissed him, he placed his hands on my waist. We end up starring at each other but then a light turned on in my dad's office. We try to hide. "Alicia run away with me?" he asks. I look at him and on the window where dad is standing. "Yes, but we need to have a plan," I say and look in his eyes scared. "Okay we will plan it tomorrow," He says and we run inside hand in hand. "Goodnight Alic, soon your dream will come true," Jack says. I smile and kiss him. I walk up the stairs only to see the door of dads office open and dad staring at me with evil eyes. I get scared and open the door to my room and walk in really fast and close it. I change my clothes and lay in bed. I look out my window. "Soon Jack, Really soon," I say and close my eyes.
