Chapter 31: We've Been Here Before, Haven't We?

Levi's POV

An hour before the university classes began in the new year, Zayne was already dropped off at Isabel's and Hanji decided to follow me to my office. It was empty, of course. Hanji was free to flirt with me for a few minutes before she had to scurry off to classes.

She quickly grabbed onto my cravat, smirking at me as I tripped onto my desk. "Hanji, come on, not now. Didn't you have enough last night?"

"Yeah, but you remember how I was when I was pregnant with Zayne, remember?"

"Hanji, you only have 3 classes today. Can't you just wait until we get home?" I kissed her, groaning slightly as she pushed against me. "Honey, please? Hold onto your urges until after your classes, okay?"

Of course, she groans and pulls herself off of me. "Okay..." She then sits on my chair as I adjusted the cravat around my neck. She laughs to herself, playing with her hair just a little bit. "Levi, do you know what your office looks like?"

"What?"

"High school... I know I should erase it from my memory, but... this office looks like the one in high school... you know what? We should have an office room in the house. A place where we can work-"

"Or just use the room next to ours? Break down the door, and only make it accessible to our room. Hanji, I think I know what you're thinking about. Just make it a sex room."

"But why break down the door-."

"So the kids don't have access to it. When they grow older, they'll get curious, and I don't want to explain it to them if they find out when they are like 6 years old. You know I dislike lying to people..."

Hanji smiles, nodding her head. "Alright, alright. Fine. But can I get a few more kisses?"

"Of course."

She continued being this little seductive demon of mine. She pushed herself between my legs as she grips onto my cravat again. Tugging it tightly, she wouldn't let me go to do anything else, but to kiss her. I kissed her... over and over. I admit we both gave a moan and a groan. It seemed like time didn't have passed for the two of us.

Hanji finishes her little kisses before we had to part. Seconds after she left, Celiste walked in, holding a small black box. "I think you dropped this outside."

"H-How-."

She gives it to me with a small chuckle. "Well... the fact that you're the only one in the math department with a girlfriend and has a child already, you wouldn't be too far off to marry her, right? My advice? Just propose to her already."

"Are you sure you don't want me to go on leave?"

"Hah, of course not. I'm just saying for you to propose to her quickly. Better now than later. One day, she might question if she's worthy or not to be your wife. If I was in her place, having a son and still being boyfriends with you, I would be questioning a lot about myself."

"Celiste, you know this how?"

"Because I was in a similar position. I had my two sons, still wasn't married to him. He ran off with someone else. I was forced to raise my sons alone. Seeing how happy your girlfriend was... just keep her happy. She loves you. Don't put off the proposal anymore."

I'm scared to do so... when is the right time? She's pregnant with another baby of mine... when is the right time?

"We're not picking up Zayne?" Hanji asks as we arrived home. She took a small nap, so she didn't realize we went straight home. "Levi-."

"I called Isabel earlier. She'll watch him tonight."

"Tonight? Wait, Levi, you should've told me." She sighs heavily, shaking her head slightly. "At least let's go back so I can say hi to him."

Shit, she's right... I'm an idiot... "Okay, okay. Just dress nicely."

"Nicely? What are you doing?"

"I was thinking of going out for dinner tonight. Obviously, I didn't plan it out well enough... I'll call Isabel again. We'll just be in and out for a few minutes, right?"

"I need more time than a few minutes. An hour."

"Alright. As long as we're at the restaurant at exactly 5 pm."

Hanji thinks for a little bit before walking up to our room. "So... 2 hours? That doesn't sound too bad. But next time, Levi, let me know whenever you want to go out for dinner."

"What if I wanted it as a surprise?" I quickly dialed Isabel's phone as I questioned Hanji. "Sometimes, I just want to do a surprise date."

Her voice grew quieter as she continued to walk away from me. "Then make sure I spend time with Zayne. I always feel closer to him- and it hurts to know that I haven't seen him for hours. Promise me that, Levi?"

"I promise." Soon, Isabel picks up with an exhausted, "Hello?"

"Isabel, we're going to drop by for an hour or two. Probably 2. Right after, we're going on a date."

"Eh? Okay. Did you want me to watch him overnight too?"

"I'll ask Hanji, but I doubt that we're going to pick him up tonight. Probably going to spend the night at a hotel. I promise that tomorrow, I will pick him up. Isabel, be honest with me- are you sure about watching over Zayne? I know it's a lot-."

"Levi, Levi, Levi, it's fine. He's such a sweetheart anyways! I really don't mind taking care of him. Although... can I ask for a small favor?"

"What is it?"

"I got an offer to take the children out to a museum tomorrow. I've gotten permission slips from all the other children's families that they can go. Farlan is one of the adults going. There are some parents of the children that will help watch them- as well as the museum staff members."

"We'll talk more about it when we get there. Alright?"

"Okay! See you then!"

Isabel hangs up, and I was left downstairs, almost shivering. Not because the room was cold, but because I was a little scared... scared because tonight, I'll propose to her. I'm not sure where or how. I haven't gotten that far in my plans...
