It's your first day at the 99. You are sitting at the spare desk opposite Jake and you are annoyed by his death stair. You really are starting to regret saying yes to working with Jake.

"ok Jake you know there is no point in squabbling," you say finally giving in. At least it's over from Jake.

"you should interrogate the perp," he says trying to be helpful despite the fact that you stole his perp. He is right for once.

"ok just so long as you stop giving me that look," you say. It can't get worse.

"and yes you can do the interrogation with me"

"I don't mean to it's just you took my perp and yay thanks," he responds. You can tell he has cheered up. Two minutes later you and Jake are interrogating the perp.

"So do you know why you are here," you ask just to make sure he understands

"possession and dealing" he replies as he folds his arms and puts them on the table.

"and the connection to the Mussolini syndicate" you add on. You also try and sound threatening.

"never heard that name and I demand a lawyer," he says a little assertive which annoys you.

"ok but while your lawyer is travelling here you can blab all of your secrets," Jake says in a threatening manner. n

"Jake has a point," you say as you check your watch.

"you have sixteen minutes before the lawyer gets here," You are happy that it always takes the DA a while to arrive on a sunday.

"I am remaining silent," he says in a snobbish way

"ok fine I'll just resort to annoying you," Jake says as he starts making the most annoying sound possible. You Cringe. You can also see the perp squirm in his seat.

"ok ok I run for the Mussolini syndicate but I never see her face to face it's always organised via Skype" he replies finally breaking

"how do you know she is a she," you ask

"I'm not going to say" he replies. You know exactly what to do.

"Jake?" You say promoting Jake

"ok fine her name is Doris Mack," the perp says frantically hoping Jake wouldn't make the noise again

"she recruited me"

"is she the leader" Jake asks

"I would think so but I don't know" he replies

"ok Jake let's go", you say because you got what you need, A name. You get the feeling that Doris is someone's second in command.
