The night was a special kind of blackness , the kind that wants only to hold the stars and help them to shine all the brighter . It was a warm black that hugged you no matter what , and within it's safety you could feel your own soul all the more clearly , that innocent inborn spark .

While in this calmness of the night , in the bustling city of Ahmedabad where the people were just getting a little more relaxed after a day full of hardwork we can find a man in his late twenties sitting inside the meeting room of his office building .........

His shiny smooth dark hair styled to the perfection even in the late hours of the day , his deep-set of eyes , sharp nose with a full succulent lips and above all that the freshly trimmed short stubble was making his face look like a perfect creation of the God .........

His broad shoulder with a tall muscular structure was so eye catching that even after sitting on the chair in a meeting room with full concentration towards the presentation, he was becoming the centre of attention among all the people present there.........

He sat there looking at the screen while one of his employees sumerised the whole ordeal before turning towards his boss ........ Appreciating the harwork with a slight nod of his head he looked towards the man sitting beside him .......

" That's a very well made presentation Mr Sidharth...... I'm happy to sign this deal with you ! " exclaimed the old man with a broad smile on his face ......

" Thank you ...... I hope that we can keep up with your expectation  Mr Bajaj " said Sidharth in his deep honey like voice ......

" You will young man ...... I have complete faith in you " answers Mr Bajaj  with a calm attitude ......

Sidharth extended his hand towards his secretary and took the file before opening the page and forwarding it towards his client Mr Bajaj .......

Signing on the papers both the men stood up from their chair and forwarded their hands for a shake to show their sealed partnership through the signed deal ........

Leaving the floor to reach his office just after the client entered the elevator with his secretary , he opened the dark mahogany  door leading to his office cabin ....... He stood infront of the floor to ceiling window of the room and looked at the bustling city with numerous lights making a stark contrast with the stary night sky ......

"What's the update Raj ....? " questioned Sidharth ....

Raj or should say Rajesh Shrivastava was his personal assistant , a fairly young man in his mid twenties who was the only person who could handle the rude , arrogant billionaire Mr Marwah ......

" Sir .... your brother has cracked the deal with the investors " he replied .....

" That's great ...... send him a watch from the new released collection of his favorite brand ......" he said with a expressionless face ......

" Oh and mind it ....... don't mention my name ...... make it seem anonymous  " he continued nonchalantly.......

" Sure sir ...... also your mother has organised a charity event on the death anniversary of your father...... I have already send our men to make sure that the event goes without a hitch " Raj left a sigh after speaking a whole lot in one breath ......

" Good ...." replied Sidharth  ......

With a melancholy demeanor overshadowing his earlier expressionless face he left a tired sigh......

It wasn't the first time he was doing something for his family anonymously.......Actually that's the tradition he has been following since the last five years .......

Five years of loneliness,  five years of regret was surely making him a hollow shell from inside ....... Sidharth the arrogant billionaire for the others in this world knew that only his bedroom ,the closed four walls were the witness of his struggle  .......

The struggle of a person who is terrified of leaving all alone in this world , a person who just a few years back stayed with his mother till late night so that he won't feel his phobia ticking it's clock dashing towards him........

Shaking his head he closed his eyes for a moment before inquiring  ......

" What's are things that's needed to be finished before I leave tonight .....? "

" Sir just a couple of files that you need to sign" replied Raj ......

" Okay ..... you can leave " stated Sidharth  .....

He moved towards his desk and opened the first folder kept infront of him ......

While on one part of the city a man was working with his full dedication making sure that the words that are normally said when talking about the CEOs being lazy a total bluff , on the other end a sweet medium -height girl came out of the office building.......

Working in a lawfirm named Parekh Associates , as an assistant of a reputed lawyer named Sanjiv Patel who is one of the co-founders of the lawfirm she was making quite some money in the last few months...... Living in the city for some better opportunities  was the only thing that was keeping her sane .......

Her family , those four members who were actually looking up at her even for their basic needs was making her work day and night....... She didn't know when was the last time she took a day off for herself since the day when he joined the firm after passing out of the law school .......

Her dream , the dream for which she had worked day and night was so close yet so far from her ...... Picking up her bag from the counter she kept the remaining files inside the cupboard and locked it before leaving from the cubical and moving out of the bulding premises .......

Blassed with a milky white skin tone , almond shaped hooded eyes,  sharp nose and pouty lips stood there at the entrance ......  Her long hair reaching upto her hips , with a medium stature of her slightly curvy body she stood there wearing a salwar suit along with some jhumka making her look like those aesthetic Indian girly......

" Shehnaaz !...... "

She heard a familiar voice calling her name.......She turned towards the girl and said .....

" Finally completed with your assigned work ....? " Shehnaaz asked ......

" Yeah .... After moping around the whole office like a ghost for the last three hours has completely drained me ....... " The person muttered while her head rested on Shehnaaz's shoulder.......

" You are too Dramatic Pakhi " she rolled her eyes ......

" Yeah and this drama queen will stop this shít when you give me a treate of those mouth watering Dosas...... " Pakhi remarked .....

Giggling at their own words both the girls hailed a cab and started their journey towards their hostel .......

Pakhi her soul sister , who has been the only support system in her life since she started her journey in the law school hundreds of kilometers away from her family  ....... Although she must seem like a total crackhead but that's one of her qualities that makes Shehnaaz want to associate with her .......

They reached the Patwa Sheri Road and got out of the car , handing over the fare to the driver they moved towards the Dosa stall they usually visit ......

It was nothing fancy , only a road side food cart they usually visited when they wanted to celebrate something........

Placing their order with the owner , both of them sat down on the temporary sitting arrangement by the road .......

" I really had a hectic day Naaz " Pakhi fussed .....

" I know .....I have seen you running around the whole day " Shehnaaz agreed .......

" Atleast I can look forward to the weekend ..... " Pakhi tried to re-assure herself ..... 

" Hmm " Shehnaaz replied .......

She got up from her seat and picked up their order before coming back to their spot and sitting down .......

Finishing the food they split the bill and moved towards the girls hostel ......

Letting out a sigh of relief seeing the gate still open Shehnaaz unlocked her phone and saw the time .......

" It's 9:27 pm and we need to reach on time otherwise " She muttered.....

" We'll be staying outside " Pakhi chimed in .....

They rushed inside the hostel premises and went to their shared room .....

" Go and take a shower while I have a chat with Nikhil ..... " Pakhi said with a smile on her face ......

" Sure .... sure ..... After all the lovebirds can't stay away for long " Shehnaaz commented

She moved towards the washroom and took a much needed warm shower before coming out wearing an old t-shirt and trousers she usually uses as her night suit .......

Throwing herself on the mattress she was just about to relax her body when her phone started to vibrate .......

She picked up the phone and glanced at the caller Id ......... It's her mother .......

Shehnaaz : Ma ..... what happened .....?

Gurneet Ji : Beta ....... I just wanted to talk to you about something ........

Shehnaaz : What is it ma ....... ? You know that you shouldn't hide anything from me ......

Gurneet Ji : Actually....... it's your papa .... 

Shehnaaz : Ma ..... what happen to him .....?

Gurneet Ji : Nothing...... nothing .... it's just that he's getting weaker day by day ......

Shehnaaz : I get it ma ...... You know what I'll send the money take him to the hospital for a checkup with Angad ......

Gurneet Ji : Hmmm ..... Have you eaten .....?

Shehnaaz : Yes .... ma ..... I did..... what about you all ?

Gurneet Ji : We were about to go ....

Shehnaaz : Ma .... haven't I told you that you should have your food early .....

Gurneet  Ji : Stop thinking about me and tell  is there someone ?

Shehnaaz : No .... Ma ..... there is none.....

Gurneet Ji : Puttar....... You know that you are getting old right ...... ?

Shehnaaz : Hmmm ....

Gurneet Ji : Find me son-in-law fast ....

Shehnaaz : Ma ..... !

Gurneet Ji : Arreh ..... what Ma ...... don't I have the right to see my daughter happy ..?

Shehnaaz : There's time for that Ma ...... I want to focus on my career and see my siblings grow up before that .....

Gurneet Ji : Yeah..... yeah ......

The mother daughter duo chitchatting for a while before Shehnaaz drifted off to sleep while holding the phones still in her hand ........

As the whole landscape bathed in the warm glow of the morning sun rays , Shehnaaz stood in the balcony praying to the almighty before she commenced with her daily work ......

Finishing her morning routine she packed her tote bag and left for the office a little earlier than her roommate ........

Reaching her desk with padded footsteps she placed her bag on the counter when suddenly the loud raspy voice filled in the atmosphere  ......

" Shehnaaz..... in my cabin now ! " her superior barked ......

Feeling a slight shiver of nervousness running through her body she moved towards the cabin and stood there for a minute before pushing the door open ........

" Sir ... you wanted to see me ..... " She said ......

" Yes ..... come inside " he replied .....

Entering the small cabin she stood there opposite to the middle aged man ......

" Did you finish those three files that gave you last evening " Mr Patel inquired ......

" No sir ..... I was about to ..... " She replied meekly .....

" Are you dumb ?...... Didn't I say that I need them today ? "  he complained ......

" I'm sorry sir ...... " Shehnaaz apologised .....

" I don't know what to do with you ..... " he muttered while rubbing his face ......

" I'll...I'll finish them " Shehnaaz remarked.....

" You better " he probed......
