Days have passed now and it's been hard, but it's been getting easier and easier, hour by hour.

Max stands and knocks on the door, I look up and witness him leaning against the doorframe with his arms now folded.

"Hey." He slams down the silence and wakes up the room with his voice.

"Hey." I repeat folding papers away into their right areas.

"So, Jonas is with us at the docks later, you coming or not?" He raises his brow at me and I take in a deep breath.

"Yeah, I'll be there." I secretly don't want to. But what choice do I have? -Not a lot.

Max exists out of the doorway and leaves it completely empty.

"Jayden!" My father exclaims loudly and I instantly know that I must get up and follow the echo of his voice.

I roam out of my office and find my father stood next to the stairs with a smile on his face.

"Yes?" I ask and raise my brow.

"I suggest you go out with Lillian tonight and maybe Amy." I roll my eyes but my father nudges my shoulder.

"Stop being like that, you'll have to have fun-"

"-But I'm going to the docks later with Jonas and Max." I interrupt to save myself, I definitely didn't want to go to the docks, but the last thing I want is to hang around with Lillian and Amy. Don't get me wrong they are my friends, but I'm not in the mood to do anything.

"Be quiet Jayden, I didn't raise you to act like a fool, I raised you to be strong and mighty, take this change by the balls and have fun, for fuck sakes." I chuckle at my father's words and he pulls me into a tight hug.

His arms are wrapped around the top part of my torso and I wrap my arms around his waist, nuzzling my face into his chest.

Ever since Liam found me I've been thankful, thankful to have a father figure like him. Unfortunately my mother and sister died and I was forced to be raised by my biological father, but I ran and found Liam.

Hours passed and it was finally late. Well, I say finally I'm not grateful for the time to pass so quickly. I looked into the mirror and hardly recognised the person I was staring at. My hair was straight with no miss-placed hair in sight. My eyes were unrecognisable as it was full of eyeshadow that was smoked out and almost unrecognisable, I hardly wear any makeup but I decided to do myself up and make myself feel better about myself.

I stare deeply into the mirror and witness the bright red lipstick that is smeared along my lips...Normally this is too bold for me but we're going with it today, my navy blue dress sat snug across the entirety of my body, I felt good, I felt almost sexy.

I walked down the stairs holding the banister, I witnessed Lillian and Amy standing side by side with their dresses on and their hair all styled.

They both had black hair but Lillian's was tied into a ponytail, her dress was bright red which looked stunning against her dark skin, and Amy had hers curled beautifully going along with her golden shimmery dress. I take a deep breath as I approach the last step until I am face to face with the pair.

"You look stunning!" They both say at the same time and I smile and reply with a similar compliment.

We all strolled out of the large double doors and entered the limo, we waved goodbye to the boys and headed to the club.

It didn't take us long to arrive at our destination but the music was already booming out from the building. It was loud but unclear. We exited out of the limo and headed to the entrance of the club where we received a few horny security men.

"Have fun ladies." One said with a deep voice, I rolled my eyes just as Lillian threw a wink at him.

I headed straight to the bar where Lillian and Amy soon followed.

"Whiskey, please." I state and the bartender nods and stares at Lillian and Amy–wanting an answer from them.

"Wine for us both, thanks." Lillian says and Amy looks at her with wide eyes.

"I don't think I want to drink tonight-"

"–Don't be stupid." Lillian states and a frown appeared on Amy's face. "We'll have red!" Lillian exclaims to the bartender who nods repeatedly at our requests.

"So, have you heard from him?" Lillian asks, her nose is always getting involved in everything, I sigh and stare at her deeply.

"I don't know who 'Him' is Lillian." I rolled my eyes and decided to pull myself away from Lillian and Amy's company.

I decide to sway my body from left to right as I hold my whiskey in my hands–not caring who is around me or not.

I find myself at the bar minute by minute, grabbing myself another drink.

A bunch of weirdos look my way and begin to place their bottom lip between their teeth and I quickly move as fast as I can to get some fresh air at the outside of the club, where no security guards are.

I take in deep breaths but hear a deep voice behind me.

"Well, well well... If it isn't Jayden Evans." The voice says and a shiver already runs down my spine at the voice, I dread to turn around but I find myself face to face with who is saying my name.

"Luke." I state and find him coming closer and closer until he is only inches away from my face.

"Or should I say... Anderson?" He whispers close into my ear which makes the goosebumps emerge on my skin, I use my power to push his chest away from me but I find him smirking at me from the slight distance.

"How do you know?" I ask and raise my brow, the curiosity roaming around in my mind has definitely gotten the better of me.

"Well, how couldn't I know?" He asks, but I have no idea what he is talking about.

"I'm not an Anderson." I state but a chuckle leaves his thin lips. They part as he comes closer.

"Oh, but it is." He mutters under his breath, making sure I hear every single word.

"Go away, Luke." I state and begin to walk away but the wind is suddenly flying around my body as Luke grabs my body and throws me against the wall. I groan and force myself to get up, I spit the blood from my mouth and stare at him.

"You beat women up now?" I ask and smirk with my teeth full of blood, I taste the iron roll down my tongue.

He runs up to me and shoves me back against the wall but this time holding my wrists so I can't get away.

"What are you doing here Luke?" I raise my brow and find myself staring into his dark evil eyes.

"What are you doing here? Anderson." A smile is painted on his face and I begin to squirm out of his grip, but it's no use.

"You can't escape me." He says with a face-full of smile. But the next thing I knew my knee collided with his balls. Causing him to groan in pain.

"You bitch!" He exclaims and tries to get up but I throw my heel into his face causing him to knock down to the ground, he spits blood and grits his teeth.

I run back through the main door and push past all of the other people, I quickly turn behind me but see Luke catching up, I try look around for Lillian and Amy, but I struggle.

The club is jam-packed, everyone had their bodies against other people. I sigh as I try and glimpse a sight of Lillian and Amy but I still find it difficult. My eyes become blurry and my mind goes dizzy. I contain myself and hold on tight to the stool at the bar to embrace the dizziness and get rid of it.

I grabbed on the stools, one by one but then they fell like a stack of dominos. I sighed and tried to re-gain my balance but fell into the arms of someone unrecognisable due to the dizziness I'm experiencing. I eyes roll and then the darkness engulfs my body and I, I don't know where I am... Or who I'm with.
