Third Person's POV

"Rise and shine, princess." Yosetsu splashed a bit of water on her face.

Momo woke up as she jolted from her sleep.

"A-Awase!!! She yelled at him, annoyed by his way of waking her up.

          The two of them needed to camp out for the night in order for both of them to get enough energy to travel the next day.

Yosetsu seem to have woken up earlier than the princess so he decided to wake her up.

"What? I needed to wake up you up so we can start the day early." He said as he walked over to the other side of the campfire and looked through his bag.

"Still, it's wat too early and that was a very rude way to wake someone up." She huffed as she crossed her arms.

Yosetsu laughed a bit and gave her a piece of bread and a towel.

"Sorry your majesty, but when I'm outside of a kingdom, I don't go full respect on royalty sometimes." He chuckled.

Momo wiped her face with the towel and took a bit of her bread. It was a good thing Awase didn't soaked her clothes.

"Aren't you going to eat?" She asked.

"I already did. After you're done we'll be on our way." He answered, cleaning up everything while the princess ate.

She took another bite and swallowed it before looking back at him, "Where are we going though?"

"I don't know, you're the one who wanted to see what's here. It's your choice, Momo." Awase smiled.

The princess blushed a bit by the smile of his.

Just cut it out, Momo. She spoke to herself mentally before thinking on where to go.

          Momo was contemplating on where to go. She knows a lot about the other kingdoms but she doesn't know much about the other places here.

"Hmmm..surprise me!!" She smiled.

"Surprise you?" Awase raised a brow.

"Yeah. I may have travelled a bit but I wanna go some place where I haven't exactly been."

Yosetsu took some time to think on where to go. He made sure to keep in check the safety routes plus something that might give interest for the princess.

"Oh! I think I have something in mind that you might like, but it's kinda far and we might have to take a lot of stop overs." He pointed out.

"Oh..how far is it?"

"It might take a few days, but we can pass by a few places where I think you might like to visit." Awase replied.

Deep down, he felt like he needed to take her somewhere that will give her the feeling of just happiness and something that will impress her.

Awase wasn't quite sure why the impressing part was in his mind when coming up with a place.

"Oohh I see. Well if this place is quite far, it must be worth going for!!" She said cheerfully as she finished her last bite of bread.

"Anyways, are you ready to go now?" He asked as he stood up with him carrying backpack on his back.

Yaoyorozu nodded as she stood up and grabbed her sling bag and wore it around her.

The two were off in their journey.

          The morning started off simple since they didn't go through any rough routes and were currently just walking through the thick forest with tall trees shading them.

It was still quite dark so they had to light up a little torch so that they knew where to walk.

Time skip...

          From when they left, it was quite dark since it was such an early morning that even the sun wasn't out yet. But now that they both have been walking for quite a while, the sun was slowly showing it's light across the sky.

Yosetsu blew out the torch they had and just threw it somewhere on the ground.

          It was the first time Yaoyorozu would be going out of the kingdom without any guidance from anyone like her royal guards or even her parents.

At the same time, this is also the first time she would be with someone who's a criminal in every kingdom. This makes it even more worrying for her than she thought.

She looked at the thief beside her as those thoughts just continue to wander.

What if they need more supplies and would have to get some in a kingdom that they will pass by? Won't that make them caught by anyone?

          But with someone who is a thief and has been in every kingdom for a decade, there's no doubt that he still would got away with it even if his face would be seen.

But then again, he's now known for this recently and now citizens of every kingdom are being more aware now.

Suddenly, Momo's thoughts paused as she was now suddenly fixated on Yosetsu's looks.

She wasn't sure how or when it happened, but she now somehow feeling her cheeks heat up just by the sight of him.

As the sun rises behind them, the lighting just makes her view even more beautiful to look at.

"Are you okay, Momo?"

The princess snapped out of it and was now flushed with embarrassment.

"U-Umm..y-yes I'm alright..!!" She nervously laughed.

"You sure?? You've been staring at me and at the same time, your face is red." He said in concern.

Why am I feeling this way for him?! I've only just reconnected with him just yesterday and now my own brain wants me to think of him like this?!?! It can't happen..!! , Princess Momo thought to herself.

She coughed nervously, "D-Don't worry Yosetsu, I'm okay..!!"

She smiled so that she wasn't too suspicious.

"Well okay then.." He shrugged it off.

Phew, that was close , She sighed in relief.

"Also...just curious...your friend is the one cobering for you, right?" He asked.

"Oh uhh yes she is. Why do you ask?" Momo tilted my head.

"Do you know how long she could hold it? Who knows how long we're gonna be out." He pointed out.

"Oh..well umm..I'm sure she'll do her best. I trust her!! But at the same time, my parents can sometimes be protective at times.." The princess sighed.

"They're still the same?" He asked.

"Apparently. They're less protective though considering I am the commander, but it's only when I'm told to go out, not when I want to go out." The princess frowned.

"Don't worry your highness, I'll make sure you'll experience as much as you can here." Awase smiled.

"I told you to call me Momo."

"I know, but I only call you by royalty when I wanna joke around with your name he laughed."

Yaoyorozu playfully rolled her eyes, what a dork I have here.
