Awase's POV

          Finally, I got away from her now. She really shouldn't be coming after me at a very late time, I have to get away from her or else I'll be caught even more because of her. I continued to walk but a bit faster this time so I could make a pretty far distance from the princess. 

She's definitely not gonna go through that wall so easily. It's short but she won't be fast enough to catch up with me.

I mumbled under my breath, "Why did she even want to know about me? Princess Momo shouldn't care about lowlife criminal, it's just a waste of time for her."

"If it is a waste of time, then I wouldn't be following you tonight."

I flinched as I quickly turned around and saw Princess Momo right behind me with her arms crossed and a smirk plastered on her face.

I sighed in frustration, "How did you get over that wall so quickly?"

"I have my ways."

I rolled my eyes and continued to walk, "Just walk away, you majesty. If you're not planning to arrest me, then it's best you get yourself some beauty sleep."

She caught up to me and walked beside me, "I just wanna know what happened to you, Yosetsu. You're a criminal in every kingdom and that's making me worried."

"Pri-- Momo, you don't have to be worried about me. I can take care of myself."

"Did something happened after when we both parted ways?" She asked.

"I mean its not like some guys killed my parents in front of me during that time and I had to live and survive on my own." I said sarcastically.

The princess felt shocked and she lowered her head, "I'm so sorry for your loss."

"It's fine, it was never your fault in the first place any ways."

In the corner of my eye, I could tell Momo wanted to say something but felt a bit too scared to do so. 

I rolled my eyes and sighed, "Spit out, your highness."

Yaoyorozu looked at me and let out a deep breath, "I'm just hoping you're not feeling too bad recently."

"Don't worry, I had a hard time at first but I was able to move on. That's why I kept stealing stuff, because I have to live on my own, there was nothing I could do other than just being the bad guy and steal in order to survive." I explained.

"But you're not a bad guy Awase, I still think you're a very sweet and kind guy. The same sweet and kind guy that I remember a decade ago." She smiled sweetly.

I slightly blushed and looked away, "Whatever."

"Also, how did you suddenly become wanted in every kingdom?? You were born and lived here, now you're suddenly 'famous' across the land." Momo pointed out.

"Remember when you were younger and you said you wanted to go outside of the kingdom once in a while to see what the outside world looked like?" I asked.

She nodded, "Yes, why?"

"Even I somehow felt like I wanted to see what lies outside of our kingdom, so that's why I decided to travel." I said.

"Even visiting other kingdoms???" Momo smiled excitedly, as if there were stars in her eyes.

"Obviously, they each are filled with a lot of tings and everyday, I would always have the thought of the younger you saying how much you want to go outside one day." I blushed a little when I said that.

"Awww, so you've been thinking about me every time you travel?" She asked.

"Sometimes."

"Awww don't be too shy, Yosetsu!! I know you like me." She said teasingly as she moved closer to my side.

My stomach kept doing backflips as she teased me. 

I shook my head playfully at her, "I do plan on travelling tomorrow--"

"Can I come?!!" She asked.

I turned to look at her in shock, "B-But...shouldn't you stay here though? I don't think your parents will allow you.."

"Awase, when I mean I want to go and see the world outside..I MEAN IT!! It's been my dream since when I was little and I never got the chance to do that in a more relaxing way. I do sometimes go out but that's only when it's necessary, so please Yosetsu, let me come with you!!" She begged as she held my hands to her chest.

My face kept heating up even way more than I have expected.

"M-Momo..I wanna let you fulfill your dream but--"

"Awase please, I promise I won't let you get caught by anyone from any kingdom."

"But people are going to get worried that the Creatorian Princess is missing." I pointed out.

"Then I'll stay missing for a couple of weeks...maybe a month...I'm not sure.." She nervously laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"Then I'll return back home and I'll just say I got lost or something." She said.

"You're gonna have to think of a better reason for that."

"Please Yosetsu, you've already supported me when I said I wanted to go out into the real world and we just met at that time. Let's stay together side by side as I fulfill this dream for it to be a reality!!"

Momo really never changed from when she was younger, until now, she still would have to beg in order to fulfill what she wanted most in her life.

I want to be with her while doing this, but I would just make things worse for her.

"Your majesty, what about me? With my identity as a wanted thief, you're not safe when I'm around."

"Then I'll protect you!! I'm no damsel in distress, Awase. Besides, we're friends!!" Momo smiled sweetly.

"W-We are??"

"Yeah!! I mean, if you want.."

I smiled, "Sure, we are friends."

"Yey!!!" She grinned.

"A-Also...can you l-let go of my h-hands now?" I asked awkwardly while blushing.

"O-Oh right!! S-Sorry.." She giggled nervously as she let go of my hands and looked away shyly.

She's so cute..
