Third Person's POV

           Yosetsu opened his eyes, only to close them again due to the ray of light that hit his eyes. He sat up from the bed and groaned in pain, opening his eyes and noticing the bruised marks all over his arms and some bandages covering them. He could even feel the bruises and bandages on his face too.

He looked around to see where he was and was a bit surprised to see the high ceiling and the king-sized bed he was on. He could tell that he was in a bedroom of a Royal Family but couldn’t tell which.

That was until Momo came inside the room.

Her eyes widened when she noticed him awake. She smiled and walked towards him, “Oh! You’re finally awake.”

“Am I in..your bedroom?” He asked.

She sat beside him and kissed him on the forehead, “Yup. How are you feeling?”

“Well, I am getting better but I still feel like I need to recover more. You’re dad was really beating the crap out of me,” he chuckled.

“Well..yeah he really did. I watched him hurting you and I just couldn’t bear seeing you like that,” she frowned.

Awase took her hand and gave it a kiss, “It’s okay, it was understandable since a criminal with a princess holds such suspicion already.”

Momo sighed, “You know, we haven’t really reached that spot you wanted to take me.”

“Oh yeah! Maybe after I recover fully, I could take you there again. Only if your parents allow us to leave for a bit.”

She giggled, “Don’t worry, both of them allowed me to travel again as long as I’m careful and take care of myself.”

“Well that’s good to know, otherwise I’d get myself beaten up again.”

They both laughed.

          The king and queen let Awase stay in their palace for him to rest and recover. During that time, Momo would mostly stay with Yosetsu in her room so they could be together more. Kirishima would sometimes visit him, sadly the barbarian himself doesn’t due to his duties in his kingdom and mainly because he just doesn’t want to visit.

Not only that, but the Yaoyorozu Royal Family held a meeting with other kingdoms to inform about Yosetsu Awase.

          The other royal families were a bit shocked and confused about the criminal being innocent instead, but as further explanation came to them, they were able to understand that they would announce this to their citizens in their kingdoms too.

           Either way, Yosetsu’s and Momo’s love for each other grew over time as he continued to recover from his injuries. Momo was happy to be with Yosetsu again, and she knew that they will be together throughout her life.

A month later…

Momo giggled as she carefully walked while Yosetsu helped lead the way while she’s blindfolded, “Come on Yosetsu, can I remove this blindfold off of me now?”

He chuckled, “Not yet, but we’re almost there.”

          Thanks to Awase’s fast recovery, he and Yaoyorozu are able to travel together again and that he could take the princess to the spot he wanted to take her in. For a faster and better travel experience, they decided to take some horses with them to travel without them walking.

They arrived at their destination at night and Yosetsu decided to blindfold her before she could see the view of the place he took her.

He carefully helped her walk so she wouldn’t trip or fall as he held her hands and guided her. Once they were able to make it, Awase smiled and spoke, “Alright! We’re here now. Are you ready?”

She nodded excitedly.

Yosetsu chuckled and went behind her to untie her blindfold, “Okay, you can open your eyes in 3...2...1..”

          He removed the blindfold off of her eyes and Momo slowly opened her eyes, only to be greeted with a beautiful view of a waterfall as the light of the full moon reflected on the water that was streaming down. They were standing by a cliff yet it still was able to give out the beautiful sight of the waterfalls.

The princess couldn’t help but let out a gasp, stunned by the beauty of nature she’s looking at. Her lips formed into a smile, almost feeling like she’s about to tear up just by the view, and spoke under her breath, “This is so beautiful, Yosetsu.”

“I knew you’d like it. The waterfalls here look great at night.”

“No kidding, it’s magnificent!!”

Awase moved to her side and faced her, “You know, I forgot to give you this.”

He got something out of his pocket and it was a small pouch. He held Yaoyorozu’s hand and placed the pouch on it.

“What is it?” She asked.

“Open it to find out,” he chuckled.

          Momo raised a brow and opened the pouch. She took out what was inside of it and her eyes slowly widened as she carefully pulled out a necklace, a necklace that Yosetsu bought for her when they were in that village during their adventure a month ago.

“It’s..the necklace..,” she said as she wore the necklace around her neck.

He smiled softly, “Yeah, I thought I might give it to you now before I move out soon.”

Her eyes widened in shock. She was confused by what he meant, “Yosetsu, what are you talking about?”

Yosetsu laughed lightly and spoke, “Momo, you and your family may have accepted me, but you know I don’t live in a castle, right? Your parents bought me a house near your palace so we could visit each other.”

“Wait..you’re..not staying in the castle with me?”

He shook his head, “No, but we can still see each other.”

Yaoyorozu frowned, “But..I thought you were gonna stay with me.”

“I know but..I’m no royal so I’m not fit to stay under the same roof as yours.”

“Yosetsu, we’re in a relationship now. Don’t tell me you’re still thinking that our status still affects where you live too.” She pouted.

Yosetsu chuckled, “Well you parents did offer me to stay in the castle, but I didn’t want to be such a bother for you guys.”

The princess playfully rolled her eyes and kissed him on the cheek, “Yosetsu, our love is not forbidden anymore, so I’m pretty sure you are no bother to me nor my family at all.”

“Yeah, I guess you’re right.” He smiled.

This took quite a while for me to finish lol HAHAHAH but I'm glad I was able to complete it ÙwÚ
