Momo's POV

          I don't know why, but until now I still couldn't get the thief's face out of my head. He just really looks familiar but I'm not sure why, I know it's because of his eyes but his face was mostly dark due to his hood covering his facial features.

          It was almost my bed time but I was still in the library, with a candle in front of me to give me light and so that we wouldn't use too much of the electricity in the library. I was looking through the different books and old articles of crimes, hoping to find any answers of information about Yosetsu Awase.

Even his name sounds familiar too.

"Your majesty, it's time for bed." A maid called out.

"I'm coming..!" I replied.

          I stood up from my chair and returned most of the books back into their respective shelves before coming back to my table and decided to bring the books and other articles with me to my bedroom.

          As I brought the books with me, the maid helped me get to my room. I laid the books and articles on my table so I can change into my sleepwear. I wore a light pink night dress with sleeves and fluffy ruffles at each end.

          Once I changed, I continued to get back into my research about the mysterious thief. Well I wouldn't say he was mysterious, it's that it didn't seem like there were any major crimes. He's only been identified as a young thief who lives on his own.

I kept flipping through the pages of the book, reading every bit of information about him, until my eyes landed on a picture of him.

          With the picture, I was able to completely see his full facial features. His hair was spiked up and swopped from the back as he wore a bandana around his forehead. His clothes were dark and neutral and he was covered with a few stains of dirt. His eyes, were the same color as to his eyes that I saw this morning.

As I studied his features, I began to notice the similarities once more from a certain event during my past and I begin to remember something.

~Flashback starts~

"Are you okay??"

          It was a normal day and my mother and I went to take a walk around the kingdom. A bit later, we suddenly lost each other and I didn't know where I am.

I was surrounded by older and tall adults walking past me, as fear started to rise inside of me.

          But then, a boy who was at my age, came to me and asked if I was okay. He had grey eyes and had a bandana on with his black hair spiked up and sweeped at the back. He wore neutral colors and was mostly covered in dirt.

          Unlike me, I don't get quite disgusted by his looks no matter what a person wheres. A maiden would always tell me that clothes don't always define ourselves truly and that we're all the same.

I nodded shyly at him, my mother would always say not to trust strangers but I really needed help.

"I-I can't find my mommy." I said.

"Don't worry!! I'll help you find her!!" He smiled.

I was amazed by how cheerful he was. He seemed kind and I had an aura radiating from him that he's friendly.

          We both started to walk around the streets, trying to look for my mother. It's been quite an awkward search since I'm not very close to the boy I'm with right now.

"What's your name??" He asked me.

"I'm princess Momo Yaoyorozu!!" I smiled.

His face soom turned into shock as he wasn't expecting me to be the princess.

"Really?? How come no one was noticing you??" He questioned.

"I have no idea, I guess I'm just jot as known as my mother." I replied, "How do you know me??"

"Obviously, you're the princess!! Plus, I know a lot about the Yaoyorozu royal family. I always like to keep update on them because I pay good respect to them." He proudly spoke.

"Really???" I asked in awe.

"Yep!! They've been taking good care of us and have been keeping our kingdom in order. The least we could do is to pay high respect for you, whether you're crowned as king, queen, or princess."

"Wow, that's amazing!!! Being known as princess is very wonderful, but it's note everyday I enjoy living in a castle." I pouted.

"What??!! Anyone would die just to live in a castle like yours!! You've got everything you need in there." He said.

"Yeah but I wanna go on adventures!! See the great outdoors, meet new creatures and meet new people outside of our kingdom. The world is scary, but it's filled with beauty too!!" I spoke, as I exolained how much of an opportunity it will be to see when you go outside.

The boy was surprised, yet his expression softened, "Well, if you really are gonna go out to the great unknown, then I hope I get to be there to note your achievement, your highness."

I giggled, "You can call me Momo."

"Momo??"

I nodded.

He smiled, "Then I look forward on your future achievement, Momo."

I smiled brightly at him.

"Momo, is that you?!"

We both turned around and saw that my mother came running towards me.

"Mommy!!" I ran towards her and we caught each other in a tight hug.

"I'm so glad you're okay!!! Are you hurt??" She asked in worry as she placed her hands on my cheeks too check if I was alright.

"Yes mommy, I'm okay. That friendly boy helped me find you." I giggled as I pointed at the new friend I made.

He shyly waved at us.

My mother smiled at him, "Thank you sweetheart, for returning my daughter to me."

"It's not a problem, your majesty." He smiled.

"What's your name?" She asked.

"My name is Yosetsu Awase, but you can call me Yosetsu, your majesty." He bowed formaly at us.

          I gasped in shock; could he really be the same sweet boy from the streets that helped many years ago?? If it was him...then how did he became like this, hiw did he became a wanted thief in our kingdom??
