There once was a baby born in the Castle's hospital and his name was Lance.

Lance's father died fighting in the war between the Galra Kingdom and the Avoth Kingdom before Lance was born and had left his wife and kids alone. 

Lance's older brothers Marco and Luis  worked hard out of the castle to support the family and when Lance came of age, he too worked out of the castle with his brothers.

In the restaurant, Lance met his first love at age 7.

She was a very bright and positive girl, the kind boys would fall for easily.

He spent time there making excuses just so he could spend more time with her.

" I live in the castle! " He proudly boasted to her 2 years later,

" Is that so?" She replied with interest in her wide eyes.

It seemed that she also liked Lance but there was one thing about her. She would always ask him questions of the castle or the King and Queen and Lance would answer every question without hesitation.

" Tell me Lance, what's the King's favorite number?"

" 12 or 42."

" And the Queen?"

" Ah, she likes prime numbers."

" Thanks.." She said with a weird look in her eyes and all Lance could say was, " You're welcome.."

One night, Lance got up to the kitchen to get water when he caught a glimpse of blonde locks.

" Hi Lance." She said, lighting the room  up with her smile.

" Why are you here?" He asked confused and she frowned full of guilt.

" I'm sorry Lance, it's how life is.." She said while putting her two fingers in the air and motioning for someone to come.

" What-" He started to say but he felt someone approaching him from behind and he got hit on the neck.

He laid there until the darkness drowned out the sound of the alarms and became unconscious.

He later woke up to the guards running around the castle searching for something.

He tugged on one of the guard's shoes and asked him, " What happened?"

"The safe has been picked!" 

His eyes widened for a second but then he finally understood.

She had used Lance for wealth.

He laughed hysterically ,despite the looks he was getting from the other guards, with tears in his eyes and a broken heart. 

As he grew, he put a shield around his heart and he vowed revenge to all girls for playing with boy's hearts.

" Why?!" They would say sobbing with mascara not missing a spot on their faces.

He'd turned on them with stone eyes and a sad smile,

" It's life right?"

Lance watched as Katie's brother scolded and checked her temperature. Matt walked towards the two boys and thanked them after asking if they did anything to his sister.

Shiro and Matt both took an arm and carried her back to the village.

" Well that was pleasant.." Keith murmured and Lance smirked,

" Don't think you'll get away with trying to run away,"

Keith flinched and sheepishly shrugged,

" Let's get it over with.."
