"Wake up sleepyhead." Mark said poking Katie's back but Theo stopped him.

"Let him sleep, he had a long night." He mumbled moving her hair out of her eyes like she did to him.

Theo had been awake the moment he felt her touch but he didn't stop her because he realized he liked it. When she had jumped off the balcony, he followed by jumping on a branch of a high tree and watched from above. He was gonna appear and surprise her but he saw a certain prince behind her.

'She'll be fine without me.' He thought as he glanced one last time at her smiling at Keith and jumped off to other branches back to the room. Theo couldn't sleep until he felt her presence in the bed next to him and finally fell asleep along with her.

He touched the part of his hair she moved yesterday and looked at her peacefully sleeping.

'Why do I like it?' He thought and got up to stretch.

After a few minutes when most of the knights were already in the dining room for breakfast, Theo shook Katie lightly.

"Hey," He said softly, "Wake up." 

"Mmm.." She mumbled and turned over, "Just a few more minutes, mom."

"Hunk made peanut butter cookies." He said, annoyed with the fact that she called him mom, and counted.

One..two..three..

"Peanut butter cookies?!" She said and bolted out of her bed, "Where?!"

" Good, you're up." Theo said, "That's the sixth time I've gotten you." 

'And the sixth time you called me mom in your sleep.' He thought although he didn't say it out loud.

She groaned once she realized there were no actual cookies.

"You're so mean Theo." She said about to crash down on her bed again but Theo pulled her away from the bed before she could.

"We have searching to do, you can sleep later." He said and pushed her towards the bathroom.

"Ok ok." Katie said and smiled to herself as she walked into the bathroom and locked the door, "You're just like my mom."

"I know." Theo said outside the door, smiling.

"Come down to the dining room after you're done. Take the left hallway and there will be stairs that lead down." He said going out and left her alone.

After she did her personal hygiene, she followed his directions and walked down to the richest looking dining room. There was a long table and more than a dozen chairs filled with jewels but had comfortable looking cushions on them.

Everyone had already took a spot, the twins both seated by Keith's side. Luckily Theo saved a spot for her near him so she rushed over there to sit down before the Royal Family of Emeraldis came in. She sat down and admired the softness of the cushion, it was so clean she was afraid of what would happen to her if she accidentally spilled something on it.

"Rise up, the Royal Family has come." A guard said and they all stood up and the King came in with a beautiful woman who Katie presumed was the Queen. She had beautiful ebony black hair and her eyes were a familiar color of lilac pink and she surprisingly had Altean markings.

"That's where the Princess got her looks." She heard a knight next to her whisper as their eyes were all stuck on the beauty of the Queen.

Next, the Prince walked in with a woman with similar features as him except her eyes and her Altean markings. They were lilac pink like the Queen's and Katie got familiar feelings from her. When they got to their own reserved chairs, everyone was finally allowed to sit down. The King whispered something to the Queen and she got up and introduced herself. 

"I am Queen Audrey of Emeraldis." She said and sat back down. The other woman also got up and introduced herself.

"I am Princess-" She started but when she locked eyes with Katie, she froze.

"Is there something wrong, my sister?" Prince Oliver asked and she got back to her senses.

"I'm sorry, I'll say it again." She said avoiding Katie's confused look.

"I am Princess Romelle of Emeraldis." She said smiling and curtsied then sat back down. Princess Romelle was beautiful with her golden blonde hair and her pink lilac eyes like her mother and her teal Altean markings.

'Where did I see her from?' Katie thought as the chefs walked in with multiple breakfast dishes. She choose for herself some chocolate pancakes with cream on top and ate it joyfully but the Princess's frozen face remained in her mind.

'Why'd she react towards me that way?' She thought as chewing, 'Was there something on my face?'

Katie shook the thoughts out of her head and glanced at the Princess one last time. She looked uncomfortable but she smiled and took a small bite of her food. The Princess stole a glance at her the same time she did and they locked eyes again. It almost looked like she was glaring at Katie when she quickly looked away and whispered to her brother. When he nodded, she wiped her mouth, got up and walked away from the table.

After their breakfast, Keith and his knights were ready to search. As they got on their horses to go, Prince Oliver came on his horse to them.

"Oliver?" Keith said and he nodded.

"I'll lead you and help you search." The Prince said going ahead of Keith.

"You're welcome." He said before Keith could say thank you and started going down the road, leading them to the villages and towns in Emeraldis.
