Theo was sitting down and waiting for Katie to come back into their shared room when there was a knock on the door.

' That can't be her,' He thought, ' Why would she knock?'

He got up to open the door and was surprised to find the Head Butler there.

" Theodore Flinger?" He said in a deep but trustful tone and Theo answered.

" Yes? That's me." 

" Prince Keith would like to see you. I am here to accompany you into his room."

Theo didn't reply to that, he was confused.

' Why would Keith need me?' He thought but followed the Head Butler out of the room.

After crossing a few hallways and stairways, they reached the Prince's room. The butler knocked and there was a muffled noise, " Come in." 

They both went it and saw Keith finishing some paperwork on his desk. 

" Your Highness, I have brought Theodore Flinger." The butler said and Theo cringed from hearing his full name used more than once. Keith nodded.

" Thank you. You are dismissed." He said and the butler bowed and left them alone.

They were silent for a few moments until Theo spoke up.

" Your Highness, may I ask why you asked me here?"  He asked and Keith looked up with intense violet eyes.

" Come on Theo, we've been friends for years, you can just call me Keith." He said with a humorous glint in his eyes, " Or should I call you Theodore?"

Theo cringed again and shook his head.

" Alright I'll just call you Keith." He said and asked the question again. " Why am I here?" 

" Well I just have a few questions to ask you. I hope you'll be honest." Keith said and nodded towards the chair in front of his desk. " Sit."

Theo sat on the chair and set a straight face.

' Depends on the questions you ask.' He thought, not daring to say it out loud.

" Is this a interrogation?" Theo asked and Keith looked up from his desk.

" I suppose." He replied and started.

" Alright, I'm gonna ask you a few questions." 

" Okay." Theo said.

' No need to be nervous, it's probably nothing.' He thought to himself and looked Keith in the eye.

" Do you know any Katies?"  Keith asked with a straight face and that was when Theo started sweating.

" Excuse me? Katies?" Theo asked trying not to stammer because he was bad under pressure.

" Yeah. Know any?" Keith said again and Theo shook his head.

" I have come across many girls but I don't know any Katies." Theo said but Keith wasn't giving up that quickly.

" Are you sure? I heard you say Katie yesterday." He said and Theo tried his best to hide his surprise.

" Really? I think you might've heard me wrong." Theo said sounding as innocent as he could.

When he looked back at Keith, Theo realized Keith's eye color changed color from violet to amber.

" Keith.." Theo said with wide eyes and at the same time Keith heard a voice in his mind.

' He's lying.' His head said and he frowned.

' Who is this?' Keith asked and it answered.

' I am you.' It said back and it made him even more confused.

' How?' He asked and he felt fangs growing into his mouth.

' Stop asking questions! I am your inner beast and this boy is lying to you.' It said growling into Keith's head and at the same time Theo said, " Your eye color keeps changing.." 

" I'm sorry, what?" Keith said snapping out of his head and Theo frowned.

" Now it's back to normal.." Theo said and Keith shook his head.

" I don't know what's going on but let's get back to the questions. Are you telling the truth?" He said and Theo nodded.

' He's lying to you!-'  The voice in his head said again but Keith blocked it out.

" Okay, if that's so you can go." Keith said ignoring the voice in his head. Theo got up, bowed and went out of the room.

' Boy! Why aren't you listening to me? I told you he was lying to you, why did you let him go?' The voice in his head said and Keith slammed his hand on the desk standing up.

' Why do you only appear now?' He asked and the voice answered after a few moments of silence.

' Because you were desperate for this information..' It said and Keith sat back down.

' So it's true? Theo was really lying?' He asked.

' Yes. He was lying about not knowing any Katies and that he didn't say Katie yesterday.' The voice said and Keith grimaced and thought.

' Theo never lied to me, why would he lie about this? And if he said Katie yesterday, who did he say it to?'
