Allura opened her eyes but there was only darkness.

" MMPH! " She tried to scream but something was blocking her mouth.

She also tried to move but her hands were tied together by a material that would not budge no matter what movements she made.

Her feet weren't tied luckily so she thrashed them around hoping to knock into something to find out where she was but there was nothing.

Her heart pounded hard in her chest in her fear that she would die here alone.

Her eyes filled with tears and started flowing down her cheeks and for once, Allura allowed herself to cry.

Katie joined patrol around the Kingdom with another group.

Theo and Nickolas were also separated into other patrol groups so she had to be more careful around the other men.

One of the men who pushed her on the first day was in the group she was assigned to and he didn't seem to like Katie being in it too judging from his looks at her.

She glared back at him to let him know it wasn't her choice either.

They all walked on foot while the leader of the group rode on horse so Katie's feet started to cramp but she hardly noticed because she wanted to find the Princess badly.

If they found the Princess, Katie had hope that it would also lead to half of her family and Shiro. 

They searched the Kingdom every day morning till night and sometimes ran into other groups but none of them had luck in finding the Princess. 

One day the King ordered all of them to stop.

" These searches are going nowhere right now." He announced in front of all the knights when he got better from the flu.

" It is possible that the Princess's kidnapper is not in this Kingdom anymore but that does not mean we will stop searching. We will only stop searching here for a while."

The King glanced at Keith who was standing beside him.

" My son will lead the searches outside of the Kingdom with a dozen of skilled knights that have proven themselves." 

Katie flinched. This could be her only chance at the moment to search for them herself out of this Kingdom.

' I just have to make sure he chooses me..'  She thought and kept her eyes on Keith who was standing by the King with a grim face.

' I wonder what he's thinking about..'

Keith couldn't help but blink in surprise when his father said he would be leading the search.

' What? I wasn't informed of this..'  He thought and gave his father a look while pretending to cough.

The King gave him a smile but a strict look in his eyes in return and Keith sighed, giving into his father.

' I guess I'm doing it now..But who should I bring with me?'

His eyes ran over every knight and stopped on the short boy whose name he knew now was Pidge Gunderson.

He suddenly saw a familiar girl standing in his place.

He frowned and shook his head with flustered ears. 

' Why did I just see him as Katie Holt?'
