Katie looked up into Keith's eyes, afraid of what he just stated and realized the color of his irises were not the same violet.

His left iris had already turned into a glowing amber and his right iris was processing the new color. 

Katie's eyes widened as he bared his sudden sharp fangs at her and his ears got bigger and fluffier.

" Y-Your Highness.." Katie said slowly backing away and he glared at her, his skin turning a light purple.

He froze suddenly and Katie stopped backing away as his eyes went into shock like he didn't know what was going on.

"What.." He started, his teeth starting to turn back normal and his eyes back to purple, " What was that..?"

His skin turned back to its original color and his ears looking less fluffier as he stepped towards Katie.

She hesitated to go to him because she was just a mere knight but as soon as she took a step, an old medical doctor came out from behind the curtain scaring them both.

" My Prince. That was advanced for your first time!"

" I'm sorry but what?" Keith asked, confused of the doctor's enthusiasm and he smiled, white teeth sparkling.

" Your beast form, of course. I'm sure your father has told you." He said and Keith's eyes widened.

" This..was it?. But.. why now..?" Keith asked again slowly and glanced at Lance, not bothering to hide his sadness.

" I've seen many people go through it. You'll be alright and so will he." The doctor said and side glanced at Lance.

" May I please get an explanation?" Keith asked impatiently but still trying to be polite to the elder man.

" Of course. I was already expecting that but before I say anything, do you want this young knight to stay?" He said and turned toward Katie and they both flinched at the same time, Keith forgetting that he was still here and Katie forgetting that she was still there.

" I-" He started but cleared his throat and restarted, "Would you like to stay?"

What he didn't say was, ' I will have a hard time processing it by myself, please stay.'

"..If that's okay with you." She replied in a strong voice and Keith knew his answer immediately,

" You may stay."

Katie was not expecting the whole beast form thing when visiting Lance but now that she heard about it, she was curious so she stayed.

" This only runs through your Royal Galra blood. It gets triggered when you strongly feel blood lust. Half blooded beasts like you can change your features but you cannot change your body. Sadly there are no more full blooded creatures left in this kingdom except for your mother." He said and sighed.

" Have you ever felt unusual? Like as if someone else was controlling you?"

Keith almost shot out of seat the same time Katie did.

The doctor had clearly expected Keith's reaction but not Katie's so he gave her a questioning glance.

She realized what she did and sat back down quickly sheepishly scratching her head.

The truth was that she felt it all those days when her mind went blank and her legs stopped working from her.

" That is called the' Calling of the Other Soul'. "
