Katie stood shoulder to shoulder with Theo and Nickolas outside the castle in the dark, though her shoulders did not fully meet theirs.

She looked straight ahead into the back of another knight to avoid Theo's confused eyes and Nickolas's questioning gaze.

Even after an hour had passed, Theo's and Katie's faces were still red and Katie mostly refuses to look him in the eye.

Nickolas glanced at their red faces and averted eyes and thought, ' What happened between them?'

Theo couldn't stop thinking of a certain image in his head.

' Argh! Get out of my head!' He thought and shook his head while squeezing his eyes.

' No. He can't actually be a woman. He probably got injured around there..But I've been with him most of the time and she- I mean he! He was healthy.. Who are you really Pidge..?'

Although he wanted to turn to him/her to start asking questions, it wasn't really the right time.

The Head Guard talked fast and loud and ordered everyone to search for the Princess. While the other groups of Knights were running around the castle and inside, Katie approached the head guard and asked for Lance and Shiro.

He sighed and Katie flinched and prepared for the news.

" Mclain was stabbed multiple times but not where it can kill and he's currently in the medical area."

Katie winced and thought a small prayer for Lance.

" Shirogane disappeared with the Princess and there's a possibility he was involved with the kidnapping."

' NO!' Katie wanted to shout out loud, ' SHIRO WOULDN'T DO THAT! HE'S NOT THAT TYPE OF-'

She winced back again as her thoughts flooded her mind endlessly but she fought back her tears.

' First it was father and Matt..Now it's Shiro? What's next, my mother?!..What did I do wrong..?'

" Sir Gunderson, Sir Flinger, and Sir Charles."

 The Head Guard said, bringing Katie back to reality. 

" Since your whole group is not with you at the moment, you don't have to search with this specific group but I suggest you use this time to visit Mclain or join other groups to help search in the castle."

Theo and Nickolas nodded but Katie couldn't find the strength to even move at all.

Theo turned to Katie for a second and his gaze softened, this was also not a good time to start asking questions.

Before he knew it he was saying, " We'll help with the search..You go and visit Lance to see how he's doing."

He said it all with his back turned to her and gestured toward Nickolas to come with him.

" After that we can talk..And we will talk." He said before leaving Katie to stare blankly at the ground for a moment to calm down and then she headed to the medical rooms with a lot on her mind.

As she found the right room and walked in, she realized she wasn't alone.

Lance was on the bed, half naked with many bandages around his chest and Keith was looking down at him with a scary stern face.

When he realized someone else was here, he relaxed his face and looked up at Katie. His eyes widened for split a second and went back to being dull purple.

She silently sat down on the other side of the bed and slowly turned her head to look down at unconscious Lance.

" I'll find them." Keith whispered so soft it was barely loud enough for Katie to hear clearly but then he spoke louder.

" I'll find the ones who dared to do this under my Kingdom and make them wish they were dead."
