Katie watched Keith and Allura practice their dancing from afar and sighed.

2 weeks had already passed and the Princess was still here.

' I thought it would only be for a few days..' 

She thought as Keith gracefully twirled Allura around and Allura smiled. Katie forced herself to turn her face towards somewhere else when Keith smiled back at the Princess.

Her gaze landed on the Altean Prince in the chair who seemed to keep scowling at the sight of them together.

When he realized that her eyes were on him, he hid the scowl and smiled at Katie.

' Ah. So he's also annoyed.' 

She thought and her eyes widened at the Altean Prince's earlier expression,

' Wait. Was I also scowling like that?' 

She touched the edge of her lips and tried to turn them upward.

' No! I'm a knight. No feelings should be involved..'

She gently slapped her cheeks and turned her head back to Keith and the Princess with the best straight face she could make.

By this time, the music had ended and Keith bowed and Allura curtsied and they both stepped away from the other.

Allura waved goodbye to Keith and walked away with her knights and Lotor.

He waved back but ran his fingers through his hair and sighed after she left.

' How long will I have to pretend.?..For the rest of my life?' 

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath and when he opened them again, he caught the familiar guard's almond-colored eyes.

When Keith returned the stare, the boy quickly looked away, his eyes averted somewhere else.

' Is there something wrong with my face?'  

 He thought, still looking in the knight's direction.

" Shall we head back, Your Highness?" Theo asked after a few minutes and Keith came back to his senses.

" Alright."

Katie followed Theo through the halls blushing.

How did she not notice his long eyelashes until now? He and the Princess were beautiful in all ways that she wasn't. They suited each other just fine.

' Keith also looked happy with the Princess when they were together..'  Katie thought, ' But why can't I seem to get rid of these stupid feelings?'

She didn't know they had arrived until Theo stopped and she stopped herself, luckily, from running into his back again.

" Good night, Your Highness." Theo said and Katie echoed him.

" Mm..You too." He replied quietly and disappeared into his room.

Theo and Katie silently returned to their assigned room and prepared to rest for the night.

As she was positive no one was gonna come in, Katie moved to take off her shirt but before she could fully take it off, Theo burst into her room with wide eyes.

" Did you hear-" He started but his eyes got wider as he saw her bandaged chest and she quickly pulled her shirt back down quickly blushing with wide eyes.

" You-" Theo started again but it was drowned out by another voice booming through the castle walls.

" THE PRINCESS HAS GONE MISSING!"
