Keith sat down on the edge of his bed, how have he not known?!

Whenever any boys would come too close to Allura, Lotor's brows would always furrow together in anger and he would slam his palm to a close object to chase them away.

Keith always thought that it was because Lotor was just protective of Allura like an older brother but now he realized his own naivety.

' That's why he hated me so much as we grew up..' 

When Keith was with Allura most of the time on their play dates, she didn't even bat an eyelid when Lotor also came to stand by her side. All that mattered for Allura  was that Keith would actually notice her as something other than a friend and feel the same way towards her.

Lotor had always hid his pain behind a forced smile before he finally had enough.

Keith winced thinking of Lotor's pain as his own. He didn't blame Lotor for his hate on him because he wouldn't like it either if Katie's attention was all on Lance and not on him.

Keith blushed thinking of Katie and her fair smile and wondered when he would get to see her again.

He then remembered about the wedding and the test for about-to-be knights and grimaced.

He can think of Katie later, but not today.

Katie struck the dummy with a wooden sword using all her strength making a loud sound,

WHACK

She struck it a few more times until her arms failed her.

She panted and wiped her sweat off.

' Just a few more days until my test!' She thought and went inside.

Katie took a quick bath and dried her hair off. 

She looked in the mirror and brushed her hair with her fingers. Her muscles had gotten more tense and now she was starting to look more like Matt.

She stared at herself in the mirror and also noticed that she looked more manly now except for the fact that she was still wearing the dress from her birthday.

" There is only one thing missing.." Katie thought aloud.

She searched in the drawers of supplies and finally saw it.

" There we go!" She said and took out a pair of scissors that her dad had once used to cut her hair.

She washed it thoroughly and wiped it.

Katie held it against her rich brown hair. A few tears escaped her eyes and she knew that there was no going back after this change.

She closed her eyes tightly and moved her fingers together.
