The Holt family worked hard in making the weapons for the prince to practice with.

Sam took the materials and put it in the fire for the time needed. Matt took the hot unformed steels and shaped them to look like an actual blade. Katie polished them and attached them to their handles after they cooled down. Colleen took care of the customers while the rest of the Holts worked on the weapons.

2 weeks later, Sam and Matt went to the castle to deliver them.

Sam flinched when he came face to face with the doors of the castle, Matt noticed it and took some weapons out of his dad's hands finding sweat on it.

" Relax dad." Matt said to his panicking father,

" Shouldn't I be the one to say that?" Sam questioned and Matt's lips formed a grin, " Exactly."

Sam glared at his son and turned back to the entrance taking a deep breath. 

His hand barely made it to the door when there was a noise.

Sam turned back to find his son gone with the weapons laying on the ground along with his glasses.

He looked back into the forest alarmed and called out, " Matt?! "

There was no sound except for nature so he tried again, " Ma-" 

Something sharp hit his neck and he fell back dropping the rest of the weapons on the ground.

Before he slipped out of conscious, he heard voices.

" Are you sure that's him?" A female asked,

" Positive." A male answered.

" Who's this then?" The female again,

" Probably his son or something. Just take him in case he's useful. Come on, let's go back to the Prince."

Sam was picked up by a muscular hand and he drifted away.

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

Katie stared at the clock for hours with a worried look on her face. 

' They should've been here by now..' She thought when she heard knocking at the door.

Katie jumped up from her spot and rushed to the door.

" Matt-" She met face to face with the same Royal Guard from weeks ago.

He held out Matt's glasses and Katie carefully took it.

" Where is my dad and my brother?" She asked.

" I'm sorry Miss, they disappeared without a trace."

Katie felt the color draining out of her face.
