Chapter 2- Thalia
Ok, so you know how I said that I have no free time? Guess what. I had free time. I went outside to the forest beyond. I crawled under the sign that said no trespassing. As I army crawled under the loose net on the far side of the fence I mentally thanked the foster care for not giving me much food. I smiled at the thought of Alisha crawling down here. She would have fit easily. But wait, no. She would of said eww! Dirt?! Daddy, call the police! Ugh!!! Whoever did this I am going to kill!! It must be a CRIME!!!! She had said those lines when Jack had played football outside and came in the house. So no. Alisha would not have even looked at the dirt here.
But then again, that is a good thing. Nobody really notices the loose patch underneath the wire chained gate because nobody goes there. Other wise, they would of sealed it up. I couldn't imagine a life with the Mathews without the forest. It was my happy place. I could spend hours just looking at the brilliant blue sky. I walked about 30 minutes before I got to my secret hiding place. It had large, canopy trees and a cool lake where deer and butterflies hung out. The first few days I was here, they had run away. Soon they got used to my presence, and even let me touch them. I climbed my tree and layed on the low hanging branch. I stared at the skies lost in thought before sleep caught me.
I woke up at the sound of a roar.
