Chapter 13-Logan

"Daddy, I think he's dead," I heard someone say. It was young and sweet high voice. It reminded me of Boo from monster's inc. I heard another voice, this time a deep one, chuckle.
"Ah, young one. The boy is not dead, he is just sleeping. Let's move our so he can rest, yeah?" I heard I high pitched giggling as the little girl ran out of the room. I soon heard another voice. She sounded like a teenage girl. "General, what is the boy is really dead?"
The man answered quietly. "We shall hope for the best, Madeline. If he does flat line, however, do not mention it to the other saviors, especially not little Kristie. She does not actually understand the concept of death. She was just saying what she heard another camper say, I suppose."
"I guess you're right, sir. Please go away now. You need the rest." As he left, I thought about the things they said. What are saviors? And who were the campers? And most bothering of all, who's dead? Those were the thoughts I were left with as life put me back to "sleep".

"Oh no! Oh no oh no oh no..." A cold hand held my cheek as a wet cloth went on my forehead. What happened? Where am I? I slowly open my eyes for the first time. A girl's hands are on the cloth. "Oh! Thank goodne-" somebody interrupted her. That somebody was Thalia. "You snore in your sleep. Really loudly." She said. Thanks Thalia. She smiled at me as she left. I turned to look at the girl who was tending me. "Here, chew on this." She handed me a rice crispy treat. I put it in my mouth and try to swallow it, but nothing would go down my throat. "Stop! What are you doing?!" Said the girl. "I said CHEW it, not SWALLOW it."
I rolled my eyes, but I didn't argue with her. Whatever experiences I had just gone through had told me to watch my big mouth. Her eyes then softened. "You can swallow now. My name is Madeline. What's yours?" I swallowed and looked at her. "Logan" I responded. "Where am I?" She raised an eye brow at me. "You don't remember?" I shook my head. I swear I had blacked out right after the fight. She nods understandingly. "You are in the cabin clinic. Can you stand up?" I nod and get up from the large comfy bed. I notice everything around me is either gold or blue. "Follow me," she says. As a follow her, I actually look at her. Madeline has blonde hair that is half way down her back. Her eyes were a strange brownish-red color, and she was wearing a black shirt with gold letterings on them. I couldn't read what it said on the shirt because it seemed to be a different language, but underneath the large letters it said "savior sanctuary".
I tapped Madeline on the shoulder. "What's a savior?" She grimaced. "Trust me, you'll find out soon enough." We walked silently the rest of the way through the large building to the great hall. It was almost empty, but a couple kids were sitting in a table towards the edge. I spot Thalia sitting next to a boy my age. They see to be in a deep conversation. When Thalia sees me, she breaks into a grin. "Hey, you're alive!" Another boy a little older than me responds. "With Maddie working in the clinic, it's a surprise he's still breathing." Madeline hits the sandy-haired boy in the chest. "Just because You're a Gemini doesn't mean that everybody else is bad at medicine. For all you know, I could be a Gemini. Or even a Sagittarius! Gosh Matt, no need to be rude." Though her words were harsh, I could tell she meant them to be a joke.
"Ok, settle down children" I look to the front of the stage. There is a posh lady there who says the word 'children' with a great distaste. "As you all know, I, a Sagittarius, am here to speak to you today" again with the zodiacs. These ppl must really love the months they were born. A girl pushes the posh lady out of the way. "It's ok, miss Jenice. I'll take it from here." She clears her throat, and pushes her dark hair away from her face. "I am Alana, and most of you here don't know where the heck you even are. So we might as well hurry up. Follow me. I'll be talking fast, so catch up and-"
The sandy haired boy next to me rolls his eyes. "Alana, slow down. Just because you're not new here doesn't mean they aren't." He speaks to her unkindly, although everyone else seems to respect her. "Fine Matt. Whatever you say." She says each word sarcastically, and narrows her eyes. Matt smiles. "I am Matt Judson. Almost 17 years old, and a Gemini," Matt finishes smugly. Alana stands up next. "I am Alana Rosario. Almost 17 years old and a Sagittarius," she too, like Matt, finishes smugly to annoy him. Madeline stands up next. "I'm Maddy-I mean Madeline- Hutchings. I am 15 and..uh...ah..undetermined" she blushes furiously. Thalia stands up. "Thalia Meyer. Age 15." The boy next to her stand up. "Jonas prior, 15," I stand up last. "Logan Huntsman. Age 15,"
Alana stands up. "Good. Now that we got that done, let's see what your destinies hold,"
