Leah POV

Walking up to my front door I felt like I had steam coming out of my ears, I was so angry with my dad I had even told him I hated him and never wanted to speak to him again just before I left.

The worst part was that he didn't even let me say goodbye to Damian he just flogged marched me out of the hotel and into his waiting car like some naughty child.
I swear that's part of the problem I'm sure he still sees me as a child, he just can't see tha his little girl is now a grown woman.

Walking through the door I'm greeted by the sight of Michelle watering my plants.

"Lea what are you doing here?" She asks "Where's your dad?"

"Your husband is still on the road" I fume "I'm here becuase your husband is a stubborn, unreasonable asshole" I say flumping down onto the couch.

"Wow I've never heard you talk about your father like that so it must be bad" she says sitting next to me

"Yeah well he's never heard me say I hate him and never want to speak to him again until today" I say as my eyes fill with tears "he wouldn't even let me say goodbye"

"Oh lea what happened?" She asks wrapping her arms around me as I cry

"I've been seeing some one, a wrestler" I explain "dad caught him in my room or more specifically my bed, he kicked him out of my room and sent me home

He stood there and told my dad that he loved me and wanted to marry me and dad just told him to leave before he choke slammed him. Now I'm here, he doesn't know I'm gone and he doesn't know that I love him too"

"Your right he's being an unreasonable asshole" she says "don't worry I will talk to him, why don't you give your man a call let him know you feel the same"

"If I call him he'll come here looking for me and if dad finds out where he's gone he'll be on the first flight here to drag him away" I sigh "I love him, I was happy and he's ruined everything"

"Does your man have a name?" She asks and I smile

"Damian Priest" I smile "he's amazing, I feel whole when I'm with him, his smile instantly brightens up my day.......God I miss that smile" I groan

"So you got yourself a man like your dad" she smirks "tall, dark, tattooed and hotter than hell"

"Eww could you not talk about my dad like that" I say scrunching up my nose "it's bad enough I've heard you two through hotel walls I don't not need to hear you say things like about him" I say and she laughs

"You leave your dad to me, you'll be back with Mr Priest in no time" she says kissing my temple

Damian POV

I had waited a while before heading back to Leah's room, I was desperate to talk to her, I know it wasn't the best way to say I loved her for the first time and then I went an punctuated it by dropping the M bomb.

She had smiled but said nothing and I needed to know if she felt the same, I needed to know if my firefly loved me back.

When I got to her room there was no answer, seconds after I got there maid service arrived and when they opened the door I could see her stuff was gone. I checked with reception thinking she had maybe swapped rooms to be told she had checked out however her dad was still here.

I had tried to call her but her phone was switched off, I didn't leave a voicemail becuase I hate talking to machines. Right now I was pacing around backstage becuase I didn't know what to do or where she was.

"Hey Steph" I call out catching up with her "have you seen Leah?"

"No not today have you tried........."

"She's gone home" a deep texan voice says cutting her off and I look up and see Mark standing behind her

"She...she's left?" I ask "why did she leave?"

"Because I told her too" he says "and she won't be back"

I stand there in disbelief, I don't get it he tells her to go home and she just does what he asks? She just leaves without saying goodbye, like I meant nothing to her at all.

Well I guess I got my answer, my firefly doesn't love me back. If she did she wouldn't have left me like this.

"I guess that's it then" I say "for the record when I said I loved her I meant it, even if she doesn't feel the same"

Mark just stares at me saying nothing, I turn on my heel and walk away heading towards the locker rooms. One things for sure that's the last time I put my heart on the line for someone.
