Damian POV

We had been at the hospital a fair few hours waiting for our little girl to finally make an appearance. It turned out I was a little too keen bringing her in, we were here way before we needed to be.
Seeing her in so much pain wasn't easy but I was proud of how well she was taking it, I guess that will be the Undertaker genes in her.

When they finally said it was time for her to push the look of relief  on her face told me all I needed to know. I stroked her back, kissed her temple and gave her encouragement as she pushed with everything she had. Occasionally I would move from her side to take a look at what was happening, I was just really keen to see our daughter enter the world. Whenever I did I would turn my head to find my wife staring at me like I was crazy which made me chuckle.

"Alright Mrs Priest the head is out" the doctor says "take a moment and when your ready push again"

Leaving Leah's side I take my first look at our little girls face and find myself smiling from ear to ear "Firefly she's beautiful" I say softly

"I want to see her D, get back here and take my hand so I can push" she says holding out her hand to me.

I return to her side and she grips my hand tightly as she pushes a loud groan escaping her lips. She falls back on the bed and I look down at my wife, sweaty and exhausted with her hair stuck to her face and she honestly has never looked more beautiful.

"You look beautiful" I say as she catches me staring at her

"You are so full of shit" she laughs "I think I need to push again"

"Your right Mrs Priest one big push and baby will be here" the doctor says

Leah pushes once again letting out another loud groan followed by the cries of our baby girl. She looks up at me laughing and crying at the same time as Nyla is placed on her chest.

Leah POV

Damian was right she was absolutely beautiful, dark curly hair, big brown eyes and her daddy's nose. She was perfect, a little piece of D that I could have with me always.

"I'm so proud of you firefly" he says kissing my forehead "thank you for this perfect little angel"

"Would you like to hold her?" I ask and he nods holding out his arms.

When I place her in his arms she almost disappears in amongst his muscles, I smile as I watch my husband look at our daughter in complete awe and wonderment. He sits in the chair next to me his eyes never leaving Nyla. He gives her his little finger and she grips it tightly causing a massive smile to form on his face. He was in love with our little bundle joy just like I was.

"hola mi angelito, soy tu papi" he says softly "Te quiero mucho y siempre te protegeré"

"What are you telling her?" I ask and he blushes a little

"That I love her and I will always protect her" he says "I can't believe we created her, we have a living breathing representation of our love, I love you firefly"

"I love you too" I smile

"So we have a name?" The nurse smiles

"Yes Nyla Rae Priest" I smile

"Beautiful, I need to take her to check her over and clean her up......that's if daddy's is willing to part with her" she smiles and Damian chuckles

"Alright but I want her straight back" he smiles "take care of our angel"

"Don't worry she is in the best hands and will be back before you know it" she smiles before taking her away.

"Papi is smitten huh?" I laugh and Damian smiles "she's got you round her finger already"

"I love her just as much as I love her mother" he says walking over and pressing a soft kiss to my lips "I'm so proud of you, you were amazing"

"Have you called my dad?" I ask and his face falls

"Oh crap! I'll go do that now" he says rushing out of the room

The second he leaves the nurse comes back over with Nyla and places her on my chest. I gaze down at her as she lays there contentedly.

"What's the betting you get grandpa round your finger too huh little one?" I smile and she snuffles softly "my perfect little girl, I'm so glad you're finally here"

"He's on his way" Damian says entering the room and his eyes fall on Nyla "my turn" he says taking her from me and sitting beside me.

"You know you have to share her right?" I laugh

"I know, I'm just making the most of her before your dad and Michelle get here and we lose her completely" he chuckles
