Leah POV

While I wish I was still in Barbados with Damian I was also glad to be back. I had missed my dad and Cody and I was looking forward to seeing them. I had barely got to my dads locker room when I heard him grumbling.

"Alright who stole my hat" he grumbles "it's an important piece of the attire and I can't go out there without the damn thing"

Walking in the room it's all I can do not to laugh at the sight of my dad stood there with the very same hat he was looking for on his head.

"Hey dad have you tried looking in the mirror?" I ask holding back a laugh

"Why would I........." he pauses catching sight of himself in the mirror "well don't I feel like a damn fool" he says shaking his head "I'm glad your back darlin, I've missed you" he says wrapping me up in hug "and congratulations"

"Thank you, I've missed you too dad" I chuckle hugging him back "seems like you can't manage with out me"

"You might be right but all I want to know right now is are you happy?" He asks

"Deliriously happy" I smile "this last week was so perfect, I never knew I could love some one as much as I love D"

"Hey now you save some of the love for your old man" he chuckles

"Of course there is plenty of love for you dad" I say "so what is your schedule for today?"

"I've got a promo tonight and then they want me to start scheduling in promotional stuff for my induction into the hall of fame" he says

"You're what.......oh my god are you serious?" I gasp and he nods causing me to squeal and wrap him up in another hug "dad that's amazing congratulations"

"Thank you darlin" he says "but it hasn't been officially announced yet so keep it to yourself, you can tell Damian if he can be trusted to keep his mouth shut" he chuckles

"This is so exciting, ok I'm going to go and work out the schedule and fit everything in" I smile and he shakes his head

"Not even back 5 minutes and your running off to hide" he laughs "see you later darlin"

I walk through the backstage area of the arena until I find myself a nice secluded spot and get myself comfortable on a crate. I begin flicking through the diary, by some miracle he hasn't made a mess of it, and I find the list of things they want him to do and phone numbers to call.

"Ah there's the beautiful lady herself, how are you sweet heart?" A familiar voice asks

"Dolph" I say not looking up "what can I do for you?" I ask

"I was kind of hoping you could help me get a few minutes of your dad's time" he says "I'd like his advice on something"

"Why don't you just go and ask him" I say closing the diary and looking up "I'm so sick of people speaking to me just to get to my dad, I'm a person too I'm not just his daughter and I'm sure as hell not a go between"

"Come on now there's no need to be like that" he says placing a hand on my arm "I wanted to get to know you and you turned me down"

"Becuase you only wanted to get to know me to get to my dad, just like so many others in this company" I sigh "please just go away"

"Firefly.......baby......you've got to see these sweet new threads they've given me I..........what's going on?" Damian asks as I take him in in his full length black sleeveless coat with spiked shoulders completely losing my train of thought

"I was just asking the lovely Leah here to help me get some time with her dad" Dolph says "but she's being selfish"

"You mean she told you no and you won't accept it" Damian says moving closer to me

"Who died and made you her body guard" Dolph scoffs "I'm pretty sure you're not the first guy on the roster she's gotten into bed with, don't be thinking your anything special, she's just passing the time with you"

"I suggest you shut your mouth and start showing my wife some respect" Damian growls and all I can do is stare at him, I should have known it would slip out "and I don't need to be made her bodyguard protecting her is my job as her husband"

"You.....you're wife?" Dolph asks his eyes just as wide as mine "why would you want to marry the rosters bycicle"

"Walk away now before I bounce you off every wall here" Damian says through gritted teeth "and don't ever let me here you talking about my wife like that again"

Dolph scampers off down the hallway and Damian turns to look at me, the second our eyes lock his expression softens. I open up my arms and he walks straight into them standing between me legs and wrapping his arms around me

"Thank you for standing up for me" I say quietly

"Always, why would he say something like that about you?" He asks

"I've turned down a lot of advances in my time here becuase no body really interested me....until you" I smile "but some of the idiots round here decided to start a rumor that I was just sleeping around with people, it's not true, I hadn't slept with a single wrestler or crew member......again until you"

"Then I consider myself a very lucky man" he smiles "and I'm sorry for letting the cat out of the bag"

"It's fine now about your new gear" I say moving him back from me to look at him, as I do I bite my lip

"Oh right.....do you like it?" He asks "I think it's really cool"

"I love it" I say continuing to bite on my lip "do you get to bring it back to the hotel room?" I ask

"Why what are you thinking firefly?" He asks in a low voice with a smirk

"I'm thinking you, in that coat, with nothing underneath it" I smirk "becuase you look so hot right now it's unreal"

"I'll see what I can arrange" he says kissing the tip of my nose "I'll see you after the show, I love you"

"I love you too" I say "and don't forget the coat" I call after him and he does his usual hand gesture at me as he walks away making me smile

Damn I'm a lucky woman.
