Mark POV

Answering the door I'm suprised to find Cody outside my room minus my daughter. I look around for a moment and then back at him.

"Where's Leah I was just about to call her?" I ask

"She's gone to the hospital with Matt, Damian's been in an accident" he says "I said I'd let you know where she was"

"Are you serious?" I ask and he nods "Oh my god this is all my fault" I say walking back into the room and sinking onto the bed "I didn't think anything bad would happen"

"I don't understand what do you mean?" He asks

"I had this hairbrained idea that if I told Damian that Leah had been in an accident and then told her that he had been in one that they would meet outside the hospital be so relieved they were OK that they would sort things out. I didn't think he would actually get hurt"

"Your intentions were good, and I'm sure he'll be fine" he says

"I hope so or she'll never forgive me" I sigh

Leah POV

The second Matt parked up I was out of the car and into the hospital I didn't even wait for him. I need to find D and I needed to know he was alright, I needed to see him.

I could help but feel that this was all ny fault, if I had stayed and talked to him this never would have happened.
I approach the desk and literally jump the queue, I'd don't have the time or patience to wait.

"Damian Priest, where is he?" I demand

"Are you family?" The clerk asks

"I'm his girlfriend" I say please tell me where he is"

"I'm sorry ma'am but family only" she says "I can't let you in"

"Please you don't understand, I love him, I need to see him" I say as the tears start to fall "please I'll do anything"

"Excuse me nurse" she says "can you take this lady through to Mr Priest, she's his wife" she says giving me a smile which I return.

The nurse leads me to a private room and pushes the door open, my eyes land on Damian laying there, he looks just like he's sleeping. One arm is in a cast and the other has few scratches, his face is unscathed save for a bruise on his cheek.

I sit beside him and take his hand in mine as the machines around him beep. I lift it to my lips and kiss it gently.

"I'm so so sorry D" I say quietly "I should have stayed with you, then this wouldn't have happened. I hope you can hear me becuase I need you to know that I love you, I never stopped. God why did I have to be so stubborn, look where it got us"

Delicately I run my finger tips over the scratches on his arm, so many questions fill my mind, what happend? Where was he going? Right now I would give anything to back in time and change my answer.

I hear the door open and look up to find Matt standing there, he walks over and sits beside me wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

"He's going to be alright Lea, he's a tough guy" he says "oh and anyone asks I'm his brother"

"And I'm his wife" I say and we both chuckle a little

"I'm not leaving him Matty, I'm staying right here until he opens his eyes" I say "I need to be here when he wakes up"

"You really love him don't you?" He ask and I nod "he loves you too you know, he told me"

"I know, but I was an idiot, I think I might had read a situation wrong and I wouldn't listen" I say "I need him to know how sorry I am and how much I love him"

Damian POV

I must have really hit my head hard becuase I'm sure I'm hallucinating, that can't be Leah's voice how can she be with me when she was in accident it's not possible.

I try to open my eyes but it's no use, I'm aware some one is holding my hand but when I try to squeeze their hand nothing happens.

"Can you hear me D? I love you and I need you to wake up" she says "please D open your eyes"

I'm trying firefly I really am but it's as if someone has superglued them shut. If that's really her I need her to know somehow that I can hear her.

Leah POV

"Do you think he can hear us Matty?" I ask and he nods

"I believe so he just needs time to find his way back" he says

"This is all my fault I never should have left him, he wanted to talk and I went out with Cody instead" I say as the tears fall

"You didn't know this would happen" he says hugging me "it's not your fault Lea"

As I rest my head on Matt's shoulder I feel Damian's little finger twitch and I sit up right "Matty his little finger moved" I say opening up my hand "D if you can hear me do that again" I ask and once again his little finger moves "oh my god" I gasp as Matt smiles

"Told you he'd be alright" he smiles
