Leah POV

After giving myself sometime to cry out all my tears I went into the bathroom and washed my face before grabbing myself stuff and heading off to find myself a nice secluded spot to work.

I was greatful that my dad hadn't come back while I was in there, if he'd seen me like that he would have wanted to kill Damian, I didn't want that, I may be hurt and I my hate him right now but I still cared, maybe too much.

I had just got myself conformable on a crate when a shadow falls over my diary making it difficult to read.

"Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes" a familiar voice says and my head instantly snaps up

"Oh my god Cody!" I gasp jumping down from the crate and wrapping him up in a hug "what are you doing here?, How are you?"

"I'm making my return" he says hugging me back "how are you doing takerette?"

"Erm not good, but it's not something I want to discuss around here" I say "the walls have ears and all of that"

"I hear you, how about I take you out for dinner? We can catch up and you can tell me all about it" he smiles and for the first time today I actually smile

"Sure I'd love that" I smile "I'm glad you're back, I've missed you"

"I've missed you too, it's been too long" he says

Cody andI had known each other since we were kids, we had always been close and I absolutely adored his dad so naturally I was heartbroken when he passed, even more so whe we couldn't make his funeral.

Cody and I kind of lost touch after he left wwe and I had missed hi  alot, he was always the one person I could talk to about anything and he would always have some good advice to offer.

"I gotta go but I will see you tonight" he says "oh and I'm paying, all you need to do is look beautiful" he winks before walking away making me laugh.

Damian POV

I had been on my way to meet with Edge and Rhea when I spotted her talking to Cody. I had to say they looked very cosy and I couldn't stand it. Whe  she agreed to have dinner with him my heart sank and when told her to look beautiful I just wanted to knock him out.

As he leaves I unclench my fists, I hadn't even realised they were balled up. So this is how it was going to be, she thinks I moved on so she's doing the same, but why him?

"Yo Matt" I call out as I spot him walking along the corridor "what do you know about Leah and Cody? What's the deal there?"

"From what I heard they've known each other since they were kids and they are pretty close" he says "why?"

"I just saw them together and I was just wondering that's all" I shrug "how close we talking?"

"Bro do you like her or something?" He laughs "becuase you seem kinda jealous"

"I don't like her man I.......I love her but keep that to yourself" I say quietly "before she left we had a thing going but her dad ruined everything and when she came back I made it a whole lot worse"

"She must really like you to get involved with you" he smiles "I know her dad can be over protective but what did you do?"

"It doesn't matter now, and what do you mean she must really like me?" I ask a little confused

"Dude do you have any idea how many of the guys she's turned down? Hell even Roman couldn't get a look in so she must have seen something she liked in you" he says "and it must matter becuase you're jealous of her talking to Cody"

"What's done is done, I can't take it back" I sigh "she hates me right now and I don't think that's going to change"

"Give her time to cool off and then try talking to her" he says "if you really love her don't throw the towel in just yet"

"She already did" I sigh

Leah POV

Although I was concentrating on my work I was well aware I was being watched. I had seen him over Cody's shoulder, I could tell from his face he was wondering what was going on but what I do is none of his business anymore.

I know I'm not going to instantly stop loving him, I will, probably always love him in some way but whatever we had is long gone and clinging to it won't do me any good.

For now was going to focus on my work and catching up with an old friend tonight. Damian Priest was not going to enter my mind at all.
