Splashing a few drops of water on her face, she stared at the mounted bathroom mirror, cringing at her tired state.

Mumbling under her breath, she reached for the face towel behind her, dabbing her face with it, careful not to smudge her pink lipstick.

Grabbing her purse off the table, she stepped out of the bathroom, heading to the dining area where Luke, her mother, and her father were waiting.

They looked up immediately after she stepped in, 
Wasting no time, taking a seat beside Luke. 

The four say a quick prayer, before eating.

The dining room was quiet for a while, with clinks of spoons, forks, and knives as everybody ate silently.

"So, Luke, what do you do for a living?"
Rachel choked on her food at the surprising question asked, she quickly reached for a glass of water on the table, sparing her father a glance.

A smile lit up Luke's face at the question, he dropped his spoon to reply, clearing his throat to reply.

"I'm a contractor sir"

He replied, proudly.

Rachel's face broke into a smile, one of the things she admired about her fiance, he was always happy with his job.

"Interesting…"

Her father stressed, casting a surreptitious glance at his wife.

"Have you ever been outside the country?"

Her father asked again, his full attention on Luke.

Her father cared a lot for her, a little scared she would fall prey to the hands of gold diggers. But Rachel had already assured him that Luke was not like that.

"No, but Rachel and I are planning to do so during our honeymoon"

Rachel smiled, gently squeezing his hands at his reply.

"Rachel Darling, how was work today?"

Her mother questioned, changing the topic when the room grew silent again.

"Fine as always mum"

"I want you, Luke to give me your word, that you won't hurt my little girl!"

Her father started with a force that startled her.

Tears gathered up in her eyes, wiping them off with her index finger.

Happy that she was deeply loved, she passed a smile to her father who returned the smile.

"So how are the wedding preparations going?"

MALL SHOP.

One of the current biggest supermarkets.

Attracting tourists from around the world for its large size.

Looking up at the huge sign plastered on the building, the two besties had to find a place to park the car in the almost full parking space.

Coming down from the car, slamming the car door shut.

Natalie was beside her as they walked toward the entrance, past the crowd of people.

Scrolling through her phone, checking her shopping list, impatient to buy the kinds of stuff she needed.

On Getting to the entrance, the man there said a quick welcome to both, applying hand sanitizer on their hands.

Rachel rubbed her hands together, which felt cold due to the liquid.

She could feel the air conditioner, funny enough, a lot of people were in, each deciding on what to buy.

"Come"
Natalie grabbed her hands, dragging her away into the shopping area, she was careful to tighten the grip on her phone. 

Relieved that no one noticed who she was, thanks to the eyeglasses.

Natalie grinned at the sight of different ice cream flavors. 
Her eyes searched for any discount tags, although she has the money.

 Holding a small grocery bag, scanning the products with her eyes while walking, Rachel followed behind, confused like Natalie about which to pick.

The two stopped in front of the rack, smiling at the different milk products.

"Should we get PEAK MILK?"

Natalie asked, showing the said product to Rachel who simply shrugged at the sight of it.

"No, let's pick DANO MILK instead"
She replied, watching Natalie put both products into the cart.

"Let's use both, we have the cash"

Saying this, Natalie winked at her, walking to another section that contained food spices.
Rachel chuckled, staring at her phone.

"Ouch!"

She looked up immediately, it came from Natalie, who was rubbing her head, she had mistakenly bumped into someone, 

The shocking part, he was not who they were expecting to see, Joseph.

Oops.

Looking at Natalie, you could see the glare she threw his way, to make matters worse, a girl clung to his arms. Smiling, oblivious to the atmosphere.

"Hi"
Joseph let out, helping Natalie pick up the items that had fallen.

Rachel and the unknown girl gave each other a glance, slightly nodding and understanding the tension between Natalie and Joseph.

Natalie stood up, dusting off imaginary dirt from her red skirt, saying a brief thank you and having eye contact.

"So sorry, don't know where my eye went, I see you have a new catch"

Natalie ranted, waving at the girl who simply waved back.

"Sorry too, we wanted to watch a movie but decided to get something.

Sorry, where are my manners?  This is Miracle, my Secretary, Miracle, please meet Natalie and Rachel, my friends"
He introduced, watching the ladies shake hands, smiles on their faces.

His eyes went to Rachel, she has been ignoring him since.

She must have noticed he was looking because she looked up, their eyes meeting for a second. 

She smiled at him, returning her gaze to stare at Natalie.

"Why don't we watch the movie together"

Miracle suggested, it took a minute for the rest to nod, accepting the idea.

Taking steps to the cashier

The others followed, Natalie brought out her credit card from her purse and gave it to the woman.

After, the stuff was packed in wide polythene bags that had the supermarket's logo.

"How about that movie?"
