Jacob L/N

The eldest brother of Y/N. He was Y/N's legal guardian and drill sergeant from the time he rescued Y/N at eight years old until Y/N's emancipation the year prior to this book.

Is now in a place of mutual respect and surprisingly friendship with his youngest brother following Y/N defeating Jacob in a duel and claiming the family title. Has spent the summer with Y/N and Sam fighting off numerous dark forces.

Sirius Black

The uncle of Y/N and Godfather of Harry Potter. Escaped Azkaban in order to kill Peter Pettigrew and was rescued from Ministry capture by Y/N and Hermione. Is currently staying at the L/N manor with Remus Lupin.

Monica and Wendell Granger

Hermione's parents who have accepted Y/N as not only their 'son-in-law' but as a son. Are extremely close to Y/N and he views them as parents, although he isn't comfortable admitting to it. They don't judge Y/N for his actions and are grateful that Hermione has fallen in love with a guy who treats her like a princess. They both loved having Hermione and Penny stay with them over the summer.

Gellert Grindelwald

The illegitimate grandfather of the L/N brothers. Has formed a very close relationship with Y/N who is the only one of the three boys to inherit his families gifts. He continues to influence and guide his grandson, having received visions of the pain and difficulties Y/N will face in the coming years.

Phoenix Bearers

Jackson Selwyn

Second in command of the Phoenix Bearers behind Y/N. Sentenced to life in Azkaban for avenging his wife's assault and murder until broken out by Y/N in book 3. Has pledged his life to his young friend and as the Knights and Death Eaters will discover is a very, very dangerous man.

Benny Lafitte

One of Y/N's five acolytes. Was impressed with his young Lord's devotion to equality for vampires. As a vampire enjoys feeding on humans but even prior to joining the Phoenix Bearers only fed on arseholes and scumbags.

Vinda Rosier

The halfblood granddaughter of her namesake, who was Gellert Grindelwald's most loyal acolyte. Is smitten with her young Lord and Lady and is a loyal and fierce Phoenix Bearer. She does however have a particularly French sense of humour, much to Hermione's frequent embarrassment.

Clayton Bigsby

The first person to swear fealty to Y/N. Demonstrated his loyalty when he refused to give up Y/N's identity despite suffering brutal torture. One of the first five to join the Phoenix Bearers and a trusted acolyte.

Torvus

Formerly of the Centaur herd of the Forbidden Forest. He was exiled after killing another Centaur over a dispute over a mare and wandered alone for several years. Has known Y/N since he was a small child and is eternally grateful to have a herd again. Spends much of his time interpreting the stars for his Lord.

Chiara Lobosca

Chiara next felt truly accepted, even by her friends. Everyone who found out she was a werewolf looked at her differently- even her parents. Everyone that is except Y/N. His revelation at the Bearer meeting that he was well aware of her condition but didn't care in the slightest ensured Chiara's unending loyalty to Y/N and his cause. She is a healer, not a fighter, and works in the medical centre of the Phoenix Bearers.

Charlie Bradbury

The wacky Muggleborn therapist brought in to help Y/N deal with his significant trauma ended up becoming one of his closest friends and one of the few people he trusts implicitly. The feeling is reciprocated by Charlie. When she learned he was the new Lord rising she instantly devoted herself to him and now serves the Phoenix Bearers as a medic, as well as giving psychological support to its members who require it. Evie Frye

A half blood who serves as Potion Master for the Phoenix Bearers and has grown close to Y/N. Is constantly embarrassed/concerned by her over-the-top twin brother Jacob, who is also a PB. Fortunately, Y/N finds him funny.

Dobby

The free house elf in charge of Y/N's estate. Not technically a PB but is in a position of authority over all of them except Jackson, being Y/N's other second in command. Is devoted to his young lord and relishes his life of freedom after escaping the brutal torments of the Malfoys. Is paid handsomely enough to always be spotted in custom made suits.

Lucius Fox

Again not a PB but works with them in the L/N Manor as the head of the L/N Applied Magic Laboratory. Is currently attempting to duplicate a believable replica of the Elder Wand. Was deeply impressed upon meeting the young Lord and has quickly become a close friend and a trusted ally.
