Hogwarts Staff

Albus Dumbledore 

The Headmaster of Hogwarts. Currently the strongest wizard alive... probably! Spent most of the last year with Y/N at each other's throats but reconciled after their duel and are now on friendly terms at least. Will be working together in the coming war with Voldemort and Lilith. Dumbledore will be leading the attack from the light, Y/N from the dark.

Minerva McGonagall

The Head of House for Y/N and Hermione who, behind her stern appearance, cares deeply for her young students- despite Y/N's usual antics.

Severus Snape

The mean short tempered Potions Professor and Head of Slytherin house who is hated and feared by all. Or at least he was until his gentle caring side was exposed by the loving paternal relationship he has developed with his godson, Y/N. Cares as deeply for Y/N and Hermione as he would his own children. Really dislikes Harry and Ron though.

Sam Winchester

The returning Ghoul Studies Professor- a class he teaches only to Y/N. Has developed a bond to Y/N closer than almost any other. The two progressed from friends to brothers quickly given how often they face death together on hunts. Has spent the summer in Europe with Y/N and Jacob.

Rubeus Hagrid

The caring creature loving Professor of Care for Magical Creatures. The half giant is a beloved staff member at Hogwarts.

Penny L/N (née Haywood)

Was invited to spend the year at Hogwarts as Assistant Professor to Snape in the Potions classroom. Partially as she is viewed by Dumbledore as Snape's successor and partially to keep her safe and allow Y/N to focus on the upcoming Tri-Wizard Tournament, given the threats made against her by the Knights of Merlin.

Dean L/N

Y/N's brother. Their relationship was deeply strained by his actions of the past twelve months, as was his marriage to Penny. Won the last major tournament similar to the TWT, the All-Wizard Tournament, which was held at Hogwarts in 1988/1989. Was invited to spend the year at Hogwarts by Dumbledore as a mentor to the tournament champions. Is determined to spend the year attempting to make amends to both his wife and his little brother.

Mad-Eye Moody

The famous former auror is taking over the position of Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor. He has spent years working with and training Y/N in the field along with Jacob. How will this affect his ability in to teach DADA?

Newcomers

Viktor Krum

The Bulgarian National seeker and seventh year Durmstrang student. To say he and Y/N despise each other following their interactions over summer doesn't do justice to the term.

Fleur Delacour

Seventh Year student from Beauxbatons. The part Veela is instantly drawn to Y/N's strength and presence- much to the ire and fury of Hermione.

Aerith Gainsborough

A mysterious French-born witch who arrives with the Beauxbaton school. She carries a staff instead of a wand and channels an ancient form of magic. What impact will her arrival have on Y/N and Hermione?

A/N: Based on the FFVII character so imagine her as you like but the IRL face claim is Willa Holland. Also an important note, any spoilers posted from FFVII Rebirth will be instabanned. Please don't do it folks.

Igor Karkaroff

The former Death Eater and biased Headmaster of Durmstrang. In the words of the Ayatollah of Rock'n'Rolla- "You Just Made the List!"

Olympe Maxime

The kind but fair Headmistress of Beauxbatons. She and Hagrid form a quick bond as both have experienced discrimination as half giants.

Barty Crouch Sr.

An angry, bitter, biased Ministry man in charge of the Tri Wizard Tournament. Harbours a deep hatred for Y/N given his threats and actions to the Ministry.

Rita Skeeter

The lying deceitful head reporter for the Daily Prophet. She has made the L/N boys life hell for years- first when Jacob disappeared and again once the L/N's lineage was revealed. She is now dangerously close to Y/N. Who is in danger though?
