One week later,In the hospital Khushi sighed sitting on the bench. She was tired and coughing. Her Mentor Dr. Riya noticed her pale face and came near her.

"Dr. Khushi,Are you alright?" She asked, looking at her tired form.

Khushi nodded her head as no and said,"No Doctor I am not feeling well. I think I am having a fever too" 

Dr. Riya immediately ordered the nurse to get a thermometer,Till then She started to take the notes of Khushi's pulse and BP. Dr. Riya noticed her pulse is low and she can feel the warmth by just holding her hand. 

"Ohh my God! Khushi dear, your body is burning very much. First of all, lie down here." She made her lie down on the nearby bed in their cabin. And then shouted for the ward boy to bring an injection and other things.

Khushi tried to keep her eyes open,but tiredness is not helping her.

In Shantivan,Arnav is pacing breadth and width in their room muttering

"I warned her to take leave today. But not when Madam heard my words! Don't know how she is? I remember her pale face and she is also coughing,ohh God! Why I didn't locked her up in the room" 

Just then his phone rang,seeing Dr. Riya name on the screen he lifted the call immediately" Hello" 

"Hello Mr. Raizada,sorry if I disturbed you. But it is needed to inform you" Arnav's anxiety increased with her words. 

"What is it Doctor? Is everything alright? Is my Khushi alright?"He is getting all negative vibes

"Sorry to say ASR, Dr. Khushi is admitted with a high fever. We have done all the tests and are waiting for their results" Dr. Riya said 

Arnav got worried and said,"I will be there sometime. Please take care of her"

"Don't worry ASR, we will take care of her. I know you will come here,but please safeguard yourself before coming here. You know what I am trying to say right?" Dr. Riya asked 

"Yes Dr. I understand your concern. Don't worry I will follow the protocols" Replying he cut the call and started for the Hospital.

Soon he reached the hospital and was taken to the room,where Khushi is getting treated.

Arnav shuddered looking at her pale form. Khushi was lying on the bed unconsciously with an oxygen mask on her face,and he himself covered in a ppt suit. 

"Did you done all the tests?" Dr. Shashank asked. 

Dr. Riya nodded her head,"Yes! Including Covid test"

"Can I see her once?" He asked Dr. Riya standing outside the room,where Khushi was getting treated.

Sure ASR, you can" Dr. Riya permitted him 

Arnav stepped into the room and closed it with his leg. 

His heart was thudding with pain,looking at the pale form of his soul.

He holds her hand,which is having a drip attached. Sitting on the table nearby her bed,he looked at her serene face.

Her face always reminds him of the moon,who charms brightly in the dark sky,even after getting the scar.

Running his hands in her silky soft hair,he whispered,"Get well soon Baby. Your Arnav ji is waiting for you" 

He sat there for the moment of time,waiting for the reports of her tests.

Soon it became evening,

Sun started to bid his goodbyes,not before promising to rise in the next day;

Dr. Riya entered the room,where Arnav was seated holding Khushi's hand.

He looked at the file in her hand,and concluded those were the reports.

"Yes,they arrived" Dr. Riya answered getting his look

Arnav gulped with fear of hearing the positive,

"What do they say?" 

"Unfortunately positive!" Dr. Riya sighed 

He looked at Khushi,while Dr. Riya continued

"But not to worry at all. She is just having mild symptoms and will get cured soon in a week or so with proper treatment. We'll take care of her" 

He smiled a little while listening to her,"Can I come daily? To look after her!" 

Dr. Riya looked at the man before her and answered,"You can but not everyday,as the cases are rising everyday,we don't want you to take risks. You can come on alternate days like today following all the protocols"

Arnav nodded his head and asked,"When will she come to consciousness?" 

"In one or two hours" Dr. Riya asked the nurse to bring the injection and Celine.

Two hours later,Khushi came into consciousness.

She was feeling weak,Arnav helped her to sit and made her sip the water holding close to her mouth.

He again helped her to lie down on the bed and paged for the Doctor.

Turning to her,"For once also why don't you listen to my words Khushi?Didn't I ask you to take leave today morning?" 

She bowed her head down.

He asked her to take leave today,but she doesn't want to as she knows the dreadful Covid is increasing day by day and she wants to be in the hospital and help her team.

Seeing her fallen face,he sighed then Dr. Riya also came there and asked Arnav to go out for some time as she wanted to check Khushi.

Soon Dr. Riya called Arnav in the room, and explained to him about Khushi's health.

"For now her temperature is low. But she has a severe cough. She is weak too,so I asked the ward boy to bring some light food. Feed it to her" after giving the instructions to Nurse Dr. Riya went away from there to look after the other patients.

Nurse also went out saying she will be back,With her food.

"Don't ever do like this Baby. I worried seeing you unconscious" He kept his hand under her cheek and tried to kiss her forehead,but the suit they wore irked him.

"She understood his irritation and smiled weakly.

Remembering something,"But Arnav ji why did you come here? It is not good for you. The environment here is not at all good. Adding to it I am also now affected with Covid. And what if Nani ji gets affected because of us?Please listen to me and go back to home Arnav ji and please don't touch others without taking bath" She literally pushed him, amazing him with her care and love for the family.

Shh Shh…calm down my Jaan. Don't worry I have informed in the home that for a week I will stay in our farm house which is near to the hospital" Arnav said cupping her cheeks 

Khushi bewildered and looked at him,"WHAT?" She coughed after shouting loudly 

Arnav made her drink some water and also gave the cough syrup to her.

"You are not in a position to shout Baby now" She pouted her lips hearing his sarcastic comment.

After drinking the syrup,she asked again

"But if you stay in the farm house,who will take care of Nani ji and all?" 

"Princess,Did you forget Mamaji,Akash,Nk and now your brother is also there to take care of them in my absence. I will also video call them daily" Arnav explained his plan 

But he noted something to ask from Dr. Riya,which amused him very much

Later that night Arnav came out of the room after feeding and making his Khushi sleep.

He directly went to Dr. Riya's cabin and knocked on the door. Getting the reply,he stepped into the room and saw Dr. Riya reading a file.

Looking up from the file she was surprised seeing Arnav,"Mr. Raizada,you here?" 

"Hello Doctor! Yes I need to ask you something. Actually, are you sure Khushi is very weak?" Arnav asked, amusing the Doctor.

"I mean,she was just talking non- stop like always" He cleared her confusion seeing her look

Dr. Riya chuckled and said,"Then it is like not even this Corona also can't stop her talkative nature" 

Arnav smiled understanding her words,true his Khushi proved that even a most dangerous virus also can't stop her from doing her work.
