*Mission Part 2 - Descendants Of The Sun*

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Tae switches the alarm clock off. 8:00 o' clock. He groans but sees Hong sleeping on his chest, just breathing in and breathing out. How can someone look so beautiful doing the bare minimum? He carefully places her head on the pillow and gets off the bed to make some breakfast.

"Shit!" Tae curses as he opens the fridge. He had been so busy for the past few days, he did not notice that there was no food in the house. He heard footsteps coming and turned to look at Hong standing right behind him.

"I...uh...was about to make some breakfast but there is no food."

"It's okay. We can eat on our way to the base. You will come right?" she says avoiding eye contact.

"Yes, of course. I'll get ready then." He hurries to his room and gets changed. As he was tidying up the bed, he noticed a bit of blood on the sheets. That bastard! He is gonna pay for what he did! Tae decided not to say anything to her. He comes down and gets his car keys.

"Uh...do you mind me keeping this coat? My dress is a bit..." Hong says looking a bit embarrassed.

"Yes. No problem. Let's go." He smiles warmly at her.

I don't deserve this smile! I don't deserve him!

"Thank...you...Tae...for yesterday..."

"You don't have to thank me. I did what I had to." He opens the car door for her. As he was about to start the engine, Jimin calls Tae, "Hello? Yes...she is fine. We are going for some breakfast and will be back to the base in an hour or so. Oh? Okay. I'll tell her that."

"Jimin said that the Head Office has called you and Joon."

"Good. Let's get that breakfast and then drop me to the Head Office." She says sternly.

"But...you should change first and...."

"Tae, I have to get to the Head Office as soon as I finish my breakfast. Is that clear?"

Tae sighs. He can't really do anything when Hong is that serious. They stop by a general store and Tae buys some ramen and coffee. He also bought some bandages and brings them to the car.

"Here, have some ramen." He says handing her a bowl. They silently eat in the car and then clean up. Tae asks Hong to remove the coat. She does and he applies the bandages.

"All set now. Fighting Hong!" he smiles brightly.

Hong gives a weak smile but as long as she is comfortable, Tae is fine. They reach the Head Office and find Joon and Jimin already waiting for them. She gets out of the car and walks straight into the office. Joon follows her without any word.

"What is wrong with Joon? He has been like this since he saw Jin Hyung." Tae asks Jimin with a confused look on his face.

"You don't know?" Jimin looks more confused than Tae.

"Know what?"

"Joon broke up with Jin after 3 years because of his dad. You never knew your brother dated him?"

"What? I knew he was dating a guy but he never said who that guy was. I always thought it was Hobi after he broke up with him." He looks at a shocked Jimin.

"Jimin, are you okay?"

"Jin dated Hobi?" Jimin covers his mouth with his hands.

"What? What are you talking about? Hobi never told you?"

"He just said that he knew Jin and that he was just a friend. I thought he might have just betrayed him or something and never asked him much because I did not want to hurt him. But..." Jimin balls up with anger, "Tae, your brother has done so many things I can't even....."

"I know...I don't even know if he is my brother anymore or no..." Tae looks down.

Woo Tak is equally shocked to know that WH was actually Jin. He praises them to have found his identity and that they are now a step closer. He orders them to continue the interrogation with Jung Yoon Do.

They go to his cell and barged in. Yoon Do gets a bit startled but after he saw Hong and Joon's state, he smirks, "So you finally found who WH is?"

"You bastard! You knew all along!" Hong bangs her fist on the table.

"Of course I knew! You think I am a fool like you guys?"

"Look here you bastard!" Joon says with fury in his eyes, "We found who WH is, now it's your time to talk. So don't waste our time and spill."

"Ooooo...is the boyfriend...oops, ex boyfriend jealous? Did he give his baby a little kiss ...or did you guys have..."

THUD! Joon knocked him down. After some time, when he woke up, he was face to face with Joon.

"Listen, I can do much worse but I need your fucking testimony. So you better start talking or I won't regret breaking your bones."

Yoon Do got a bit scared and sat up straight to finally start talking.

"Geez! You guys can't even take a joke..... so..um...so you already know WH is Jin. I had suggested that Taehyung should join our gang but Jin refused. We fought over it and he shot me. That's why the hospital...you know the rest. I kidnapped his dad to show him what I can do but I knew it was gonna come and bite me in the ass. That's when I decided to go all out."

"What do you mean by all out?"

"You will find whatever you need against Jin at our base. The address is here." He passes a small paper to Joon.

"Why are you helping us?" Hong raises her brow.

"I am not helping you. I am helping Jin. I want you to know his side of the story. Now can you leave me alone? I am tired from all the talking." He yawns and turns to sleep in the corner.

Joon and Hong exit the cell and look at each other. His side of the story? Only one way to find out.

They leave the Head Office to find both Tae and Jimin waiting for them. Joon hands Jimin the paper and nods. He looks at Tae and asks, "You want to join?" Tae nods.

"Are you sure? He is your brother after all." Hong asks worried that is might be emotionally stressful for him.

"I am 100% sure. He is not my brother anymore. He is an animal." Tae snaps and sits in the car. They drive to the base in complete silence. But as they enter it, they see the whole place destroyed.

"I knew it! He wasn't helping us. He was helping Jin escape!" Jimin shouts as he tries to look for something amongst the destroyed files.

"I don't understand. He said he wants us to know 'his' side of the story. There must be something here. I can feel it." Hong also starts searching through the mess.

Joon was silent during all this time. His eyes were fixated on a small envelope kept on the table marked 'baby' with Jin's sign on it. He hesitates to open it so Jimin does it on his behalf.

"Baby, it's time to reveal your father's true face. Tell them the truth. I'll be waiting." Jimin looks at Joon confused, "Does this mean something to you?"

Joon suddenly leaves the base to call someone up leaving the three looking at each other with utter confusion.

"Hey Hobi, its Joon."

"Uh..hii Joon. What's up?" Fear was evident from Hobi's voice. He always dreaded this call.

"It's time. It's time to tell the truth. I'll send Jimin home."

"Okay." BEEP! 

Joon cut the call. He takes a deep breath before entering the base again and looks at Hong and Jimin sympathetically,

"Joon? What the hell? Does this letter mean something to you?" Jimin asks with anger in his voice.

"Jimin, can you go back home? Hobi has something very important to talk to you."

"What? No Joon, I am not leaving the base until I know what this letter is about. What truth is he talking about?"

"Jimin please. It's important for you to talk to Hobi. It's...please just listen to me this once. You will get all your answers." Joon pleads him.

Jimin leaves the base irritatingly. Joon then turns to Hong and Tae, "You guys..I have something to tell you...let's ...let's talk at our base."

"Joon, you are scaring me." Hong says with concern.

"Please, trust me...just this once."

I have to tell the truth. But how?
