*Beautiful Lies - Doctors*

Namjoon groans as the sunlight hits his eyes.

"Ugh...My head..." he says clutching his head.

"Good Morning, gentlemen." A voice full of sarcasm is heard. "Had a good sleep? Do want to drink more?"

Joon opens his eyes to see an angry Hong staring right into his soul. He looks beside him to find Taehyung sleeping peacefully.

"Ugh...I...I...am sorry..." Joon says still clutching his head.

"How can you be so irresponsible Joon? You took Tae out even when you knew he was in danger. Also, did Woo Tak hit you again?" Hong says pointing at his bruise.

"Aah...it's nothing..."

"Why don't you say something to him?" Hong says touching the bruise. "Did you put medicine?"

Joon nods and clutches his head a little. Hong sighs, "I'll make some hangover soup then."

"QUIET! You guys are so noisy!" Taehyung whines and then goes back to sleep.

"Seems like someone is still drunk. Wake him up, will you? I can't work if we have two drunkards in the office." Jungkook says irritatingly.

Jimin wakes up to the smell of pancakes. Last night was wild! Jimin had been busy with his cases and Hobi with his photography shoots so they didn't really get a chance to get intimate. So last night felt like a dream come true.

"Good morning sunshine. I smell pancakes!" Jimin says while going towards the coffee machine. He pecks Hobi's neck and tries to steal some berries. Hobi smacks his hand away, "Hey, they are for the pancakes."

Jimin sits on the counter and lovingly stares at Hobi. The hickeys were clearly visible. Hobi never liked them. He said they were 'painful and difficult to hide' but he never stopped Jimin from making them.

"Last night was amazing." Jimin says opening his mouth to eat a bite.

Hobi,blushing, "Yes...it was." And shoves a big piece into his mouth.

"Go and get ready. We are going to your base." Hobi says as he shoves the last piece of pancake into Jimin's mouth.

"Base? Why do you want to come to our base?" Jimin looks confused.

"Did you forget already? I told you I had a surprise planned for us today."

"But what does it have to do with us going to the base?"

"Just get ready. It's a surprise, remember? I'll tell you once we reach there."

Joon and Tae are now sitting quietly in Joon's office, both of their heads down as Hong is walking back and forth in the room. They can't dare to lift their heads because they don't want to face an angry Hong.

"I told you it was a bad idea." Tae whispers to Joon.

"I told Yoongi to bring us back before midnight but he didn't." Joon whispers back.

"What are you two whispering about?" Hong interrupts with anger clear in her voice. "Also what is this about Tae joining our team as a doctor? Have you lost your mind?" she glares at Joon.

"I..." Joon starts to speak but Tae stops him, "Actually I was the one who asked for it. I am curious to know why these people are after us."

Hong looks at him in shock, "But...Taehyung...it's dangerous...."

"HEYYYYYYYY... WHERE IS EVERYONE?" A loud voice interrupts them. "This isn't over." Hong points at Tae before leaving to see whose voice it is.

Hobi runs to hug Hong. At first she is shocked but she hugs him back.

"Oh my god Hobi! Long time no see! How come Jimin brought you to our base? I thought he wants to protect you from our lustful eyes." Hong jokes.

"Hahaha, very funny Hong. In Fact, Hobi was the one who insisted on coming here today." Jimin laughs.

"As much as I love the attention you all give me..." Hobi's eyes travel towards Joon's office where he sees Tae and Joon.

"Hey Joon, Tae...Long time no see!"

Joon waves back at him. Tae can't believe it. It's Hobi! He can't look straight in his eyes and keeps his head down.

Hobi, not happy with the awkwardness, goes to hug Taehyung, "Aahh..I missed you so much TaeTae."

"Hiii..uh...Hobi...long..time no see..." Tae stutters.

"Hey look at me, you did not do anything wrong. If you don't stop feeling guilty, I'll never talk to you!" Hobi says patting Taehyung's back.

"It's just... I am sorry for what my brother did to you. I missed you too Hobi." He says hugging him back.

"Hey, it's not your fault okay? Whatever happened, it's all in the past. Are we cool now? Can I get back my TaeTae?"

Tae chuckles a little from that nickname and nods at him after pulling away from the hug.

"So, what's the big surprise?" Jimin asks.

"Aah yes...So everyone, please pay attention. As much as I love my beautiful boyfriend here," he points at Jimin, "I hate it when he overworks himself. I also hate you guys for working a little too hard. So I decided that you all need a break."

They all look at him with confusion.

"Don't worry. I know the nature of your job so I have planned a one day trip to.....The amusement park!" Hobi says excited.

They all look at him with unsure expressions.

"I said 'THE AMUSEMENT PARK!'. I have already booked the tickets for us. Show some reaction please." Hobi says with a little more excitement.

"It's perfect. A small break won't harm us." Joon says.

"I'm in." Yoongi adds.

"I love the rides in the park!" Kook claps his hands in excitement.

"I am really surprised by your 'surprise' baby. I am in too!" Jimin replies.

"But we haven't got a call from the Head Office and..." Hobi stops Hong, "Come on Hong, it's just a few hours of fun with friends. Everyone is ready. If you refuse one more time, we are gonna drag you to the park. Right guys?"

"Yes!" everyone says in unison. Hong finally agrees.

"I guess I'll take my leave now." Tae says wearing his coat.

"Wait, who says you can? You are coming with us. You were very brave for the past few days and you need a little break too." Joon says stopping him. "Also, you might join us in a few days so think of this as a bonding trip with your team members." Joon eyes Hong as he says the last sentence.

"You might join us?" Jimin asks excitedly.

"It's not fixed yet." Hong says glaring at Joon.

"He is right Tae. You should go with them and enjoy." A voice from Jungkook's office startles them all. It was Taehyung's dad.

"Dad, are you okay? Are you in pain somewhere?" Tae rushes to his dad.

"I am okay Tae. Thanks to Hong Joo, I feel refreshed now. It's good to see you Hoseok after such a long time." He smiles at Hobi.

Hobi smiles back, "I am glad you are okay."

"Are you ready to give your testimony now Dad?" Hong asks.

"Yes." Hong then signals him to follow her to her office.

"Okay. So Taehyung is in. Everyone, be ready by 5.00 p.m. I'll pick you guys up. I gotta go now. See you in a few hours." He hugs Jimin and waves goodbye to everyone.

Back in Hong's office, Hong recites Tae's dad everything that happened and how unfortunately Hye Jung died. He expressed his sorrow on her death but was also relieved that she did not get to marry Tae.

"Okay dad, I'll start recording now. Don't be scared and tell us exactly what had happened the night you were kidnapped." Hong says clicking the recorder.

"Hye Jung came to me to get my sign on Jung Yoon Do's discharge papers. I was already busy with some of the hospital work so I just signed it. But later, after his discharge, I read his file and called Hye Jung in my office, thinking she might have made a mistake. When I confronted her, she hit my head with an object and the next thing I remember is waking up here."

"Okay, I guess this much will be enough. Do you have anything else to add to this?"

"No. This is what I know. I have her resume in my office if that helps."

"Okay. We will send someone for that. Thank you dad, for being so patient with us." Hong says clutching his hand.

"Thank you Hong, for saving my life. Can you please do one more thing?" He looks at Hong with pleading eyes.

"Yes dad. Anything for you."

"Save Taehyung. Save him. Please take him back."

At that moment, Taehyung opens the door with lightning fast speed, "DAD!" he looks at Hong who is a bit taken aback and then continues, "Let's go back home dad. Hong, I'll come back after changing. Is that okay?"

Hong nods. They leave her office and then Tae turns to his dad with an angry look on his face,

"Why did you say that to her? You made her uncomfortable!"

"See, if you both love each other, if you care about each other, what is the harm in getting back together? I thought you were too shy to ask her yourself, so I helped. One mistake can be forgiven Tae." His dad said with an innocent look on his face.

"No dad. We are not getting back together. Not today, not tomorrow. Thanks, but I don't need your help. We are happy without each other." He lied.

"Are you really?" his dad raises a question in his heart.

Am I really happy without her?
