*Teardrop Raindrop - Cinderella and the Four Knights*

Jimin reaches the base and sees Taehyung right outside. He waves, telling him to wait for him and parks his car. They both then enter through the back door and the office is eerily silent.

Jimin calls up Joon and finds his voice coming from Hong's office,

"Come out. We have a situation."

They watch as Joon comes out of her office with ruffled hair and adjusting his clothes. He doesn't look surprised when he sees Taehyung.

"Oh you are here?"

"What do you mean? Did you expect me to come back?" Tae asks in confusion.

"I already got info that Hye Jung and Jung Yoon Do are off the radar now. They can't be found. It was an easy guess for me."

Just as Tae was about to speak, he sees Hong coming out of the same room from which Namjoon came. She seems to be massaging her shoulders and limping a bit. Tae's heart breaks a little. Why were they in the same room? Did they...

No Tae not now.

"Ah Hong. Just in time. Look who came back." Jimin says pointing at Tae whose face just looks blank.

"Uh who put me on the couch..." she rubs her eyes to see Tae in front of her, "Uh...You are back...Did you leave something here?" not showing her shock.

"No. He came here to tell us about Hye Jung." Joon adds.

They all sit in Joon's office with cups of coffee and Namjoon starts, "Just so you know, we are not recording this. So talk freely."

"Yoo Hye Jung came to our hospital for a job about 1 and a half month ago. She had an amazing resume, great work experience. For a second we thought, 'Why does she want to work for this small hospital?' We could not refuse her as we were going through crisis at that time and never really checked the authenticity of her resume."

"Slowly she became close to me and my family and we decided to get married for our best interest."

Hong looks away at a distance as she heard that.

"What 'best interest'?" Joon asks.

"She wanted to work for the poor and treat them for free and I just wanted to get married." Tae says stressing on the last word.

Hong freezes at that sentence. Did he just?

FLASHBACK

"I am not even that hurt baby. It's just a small scratch. I am okay. See?" Tae moves his hands funnily to show Hong but she isn't amused and starts to sob.

Taehyung had been in a minor car accident but he got away with a few scratches. He still can't understand how it happened but his first priority was to calm Hong down.

"Please listen to me. It was a minor accident. Nothing even happened."

"But what if it had become big? What if you got more hurt?" Hong says in between sobs.

"Nothing can ever happen to me as long as you are by my side." He hugs Hong. She starts to cry even more.

"I just want us to be together, that's all."

"We will be together. I promise." he patted her back.

"I want us to be together all the time. I want us to get married!"

Tae looks at her with a shocked expression.

"What? Hong what...."

"I want to get married!"

"Okay okay baby. We will get married. Whatever you want." says Tae while hugging her and smelling her sweet smell. She nuzzles her head in his shoulders, relieved.

FLASHBACK ENDS

Joon snaps Hong back to reality.

"It turns out; she wanted more than just treating patients."

"What do you mean?" asks Jimin.

"Before the engagement, I had signed the papers for the hospital ownership which stated that after marriage, 75% of the hospital rights will be with Hye Jung and the remaining to be kept by me."

"That's just stupidity." Hong remarks.

"I told you, she was loved by my family and mom made me do it." He whispers the next sentence, "At that time, it did not seem like a wrong thing to do. She was going to be my wife."

"She ran away with those papers, all the cash we had at home and hospital, Jung Yoon Do was already discharged with fake details... and...and..." Tae stutters.

"And what?" Hong asks, worried.

"I think she has kidnapped my dad. He is the major shareholder and she needs his signature." Tae says all of it in one go.

"Shit. I did not think this would go out of hand." Joon says smacking his own head.

"Do you have any clue where she might have taken him?" Jimin asks frantically.

Tae signals no with his head.

"Okay guys. Let's not panic. Jimin get your spies everywhere. Even if they are underground, we will find them." Joon says as he calls someone.

"Hello dad? Yes sir. Sorry sir, but we have an emergency." He walks out of the room.

"I'll wake Yoongi and Kook (Jungkook) up." Jimin says as he sensed they might need some alone time.

Hong clears her throat. "It's been a long day. I think you should take some rest."

"How can I when I know my dad is in danger?"Tae asks with eyes full of tears.

"You resting for a bit won't do any harm. You have to be healthy enough to meet your dad. Have you eaten anything?"

"No. I'll just rest for a bit. Wake me up if you find anything." Tae agrees and moves to sleep on the couch.

Hong wraps a blanket around him and touches his cheek, "Don't worry Tae. Your dad will be okay. We will make sure of it."

Tae grabs her hand as she turns to go. "Can you stay here for a minute?" he says with half closed eyes.

"I am more than happy to."

She sits down on the nearby stool and holds his hand. He looks so peaceful while sleeping. She could sacrifice the whole world just to see him like this, to keep holding his hands but she can't. She can't put him in danger. Not again. She vowed to protect him. And she has been keeping her promise for the past 4 years.

She removes some of his bangs and kisses his forehead. A tear trickled down from her eyes and fell on his cheek. She gets up, switches the light off and closes the door behind her.

Tae wipes her tear from his cheek and silently cries himself to sleep.

"Sorry I couldn't keep my promise Hong."
