Her eyes so bright, brimming with such light

Her cheeks so lush, they made me blush

Was this love? I knew of it not

Looking at her, I gave it a thought

Her laugh melodious, my heart skipped a beat

Her voice crystal, nonetheless sweet

There she was, so perfect and flawless

Her bedazzling smile, so enticing and timeless

Maybe this was love, said a voice within

Took me a moment, I had long paused breathing

She left me speechless, I was spellbound

Mesmerized by her presence, breathless myself I found

But Beauty is more than skin deep, or so I have heard

Gazing deep within, her heart fluttered with the innocence of a little bird

Never before, had I seen a soul so pure

To all my misery, she seemed to be the cure

Plucking some courage, I made up my mind

Searching for words, which my tongue couldn't find

Our gaze met, the world stood still

Epitome of perfect, she had looks that could kill

She stood before me, a beauty to behold

Out of my league, or so I was told

"A person like you, with a heart so divine

Tell me my love, will you be my Valentine?"
