A Fire Builds

Breathless and motionless

held in the ether

of a natural subsistence

And this blind state of being

This unfamiliar feeling

encroaches upon

my hidden life

It is here where I first behold

myself trapped

trying to escape

Unknowingly

my essence

to warm me through
