* Chapter Three

The game of Monopoly had gone late into the night. Yoongi had tried to keep his eyes open but he kept nodding off every so often and he was always jolted awake by Tae's loud cries of either pleasure or disappointment. Yoongi eventually mumbled something about needing sleep and got up, heading to the couch instead of his room. Tae just watched his roommate lay on the couch, facing away from them with pillow over his head. Jin and Taehyung shared a look before snorting behind their hands. It was weirdly adorable to Jin. Soon enough, Yoongi's weird action was forgotten as they continued with the game.

Jin couldn't help but feel disappointed when Yoongi left. His shoulder felt cold and empty and he didn't know what to do with his hand now that Yoongi's fingers were no longer laced through his. So he let it hang limply on his thigh.

The game ended when Taehyung had bankrupted Jungkook. In a fit of rage, Jungkook had flipped the board and poked his boyfriend in the cheek really hard. Jin didn't even react, just kept his eyes on Yoongi's form. The guy had shot awake at the loud sound of Tae yelling and the crashing of the board, rubbing his eyes and his hair sticking up all over the place. He looked like a little kid. Hi mouth was in a small pout and his eyes were half-closed.

'The fuck is going on?' He mumbled and yawned, watching the boys on the floor. Confusion set in as the two lovebirds started arguing and rolling around. Jin had started packing up with a blank expression. He was slightly angry that the younger two had woken Yoongi. After the night Yoongi had, he deserved to rest. Jin flicked both boys in the head and stood, putting the game back in the cupboard. Jungkook winced while Tae made a really ugly sound, making both Jin and Jungkook smile.

'Sorry Yoongi,' He whispered and sat beside his friend on the couch. Like a leech, Yoongi immediately curled into Jin and closed his eyes again. Jin smiled then scowled at Jungkook and Taehyung, who were looking at Jin and Yoongi with a curious expression. They looked like deer in headlights with their wide eyed shook expression. 'Bed. Both of you.' He scolded them like they were two misbehaving children. In a way, they were.

'Yes sir.' Taehyung mockingly saluted the older boy before grabbing his boyfriend's hand and dragged him to his feet. They both dashed off to their bedroom, giggling and pulling at each other. Jin crinkled his nose in disgust. He knew they were off to do something Jin didn't want to think about.

With a sigh, he stood and Yoongi fell forward onto the couch like a ragdoll. A small 'ow' came from his mouth as his face hit the cushions. He looked dead and Jin just giggled at how adorable Yoongi was as he slowly pulled himself into a sitting position again. His eyes were half closed and he kept licking his lips, trying to rid the yucky taste from his mouth. The sweater he wore was off his shoulder, exposing himself. Jin found himself wanting to kiss the exposed skin and take a photo of the sight. Too bad his camera was in his room.

'Carry me.' Yoongi's words came out slightly slurred together from sleep and he stuck his hands out in Jin's direction, making the grabby hands babies used when they wanted to be picked up. Jin had to physically stop himself from squealing and awing at the sight.

'Alright you big baby.' He leaned down and lifted Yoongi in his arms, cradling him to his chest. Yoongi's arms automatically curled around Jin's neck and he closed his eyes again, nuzzling closer. Jin refrained from kissing him. Yoongi clutched tighter onto Jin, one hand grabbing Jin's shoulder sleeve while the other was tight around the back of his neck.

His friend wasn't very heavy so Jin pretty much carried Yoongi with ease and got to the room quickly, cringing at the sounds coming from Jungkook and Taehyung's room across from them.

'Why are they animals. I don't want to hear this every night.' Yoongi mumbled sleepily and opened his eyes, staring at Jin.

'If I knew, I'd tell you. Jungkook better not complain about being tired tomorrow.' Jin whispered and went to place Yoongi down on his bed. Yoongi clutched tighter, nails actually digging into Jin's skin, making him wince.

'Let me stay with you. Please, Jin.' Yoongi whispered, voice cracking a little. He really didn't want to be left alone again, not after what happened with Hoseok.

'Okay. You can sleep next to me.' Jin whispered and walked over to his bed, placing Yoongi down gently who pulled off his sweater and buried himself under the sheets, falling asleep again. Soft snores poured out of his mouth. Jin carefully climbed in the tiny bed beside Yoongi and wrapped his arms around the other boy, stroking his back and hair.

Yoongi wasn't a clingy person. He was usually cut off and cold. The only times he was clingy and wanting was when he was upset or lonely. Jin, even though he hated to admit it, loved Yoongi at times like this. It meant Yoongi needed him for comfort.

He didn't really get much sleep that night. Instead, stroked Yoongi's back and played with his hair, keeping his close.

***

Yoongi fucking hated his job with a passion. Sure it helped keep a roof over his head and helped pay for Jin's college funds but delivering pizzas on a little motorbike to bratty teens and uptight, snobby parents who tipped like utter shit? No thanks. It was not his favourite thing to do.

A plus side that came out of his job was that it took his mind off everything and the free pizza (or stale pizza as the manager called it) he got after his shift. The look on Jin's face every time he was given the pizza made Yoongi feel all warm and fuzzy. Seeing Jin happy was one thing he loved. He was glad that his shift was over for the day.

He could still feel the faint vibrations from the motorbike drumming through his veins as he trudged up the tiny hill. His notebook was in his hand, phone and headphones tucked away into his pocket.

Every day after he got off his shift, Yoongi headed over to the tiny hill near the pizza place for an hour or so. It gave him time to think, write and just basically calm down before he headed back over to his apartment. He was glad his shift ended around noon because it meant that he could actually watch the sunset.

The view from the hill was pretty good. It was mainly just the city along with the skyline. It was boring during the day but at night, the skyline was lit up with lights from the city and it was breathtaking. He never left the bench until the skyline was littered with tiny little lights.

Yoongi sighed as he sat on the bench. He took his phone out and smiled when he saw that he had a text from Jin. His smile dropped a little when a few texts with Hoseok's name appeared.

He wasn't exactly pleased to see Hoseok's name right now. Not after what happened last night with the skype call. Yoongi really didn't like how once Jimin entered, he became basically nothing to Hoseok. It fucking hurt him. It upset him to the point where he ended up clinging onto his best friend who was probably sick of it. Yoongi himself hated being like that. It made him feel weak.

He decided to answer Hoseok's text first because if it was bad, at least then he had Jin to make him feel better.

Hope: Yoongi I'm so sorry about what happened yesterday with the skype call. I never meant to be rude !!

Hope: Oh god I hope you can forgive me, Yoongi.

Yoongi just read them and didn't reply. They kept coming through though.

Hope: Bud I know you're reading them. Please answer me.

Hope: I don't want to lose my best friend.

Hope: You're mad I know. But please answer me I want to make it up to you.

The only way you'd make it up to me was if you broke up with Jimin. Yoongi immediately scolded himself for that. Jimin made Hoseok happy. As much as he hated to admit it, he'd rather see Hoseok happy with Jimin than him upset.

Yoongi: I'm not mad. Just disappointed and upset. I get that he's your boyfriend.

Yoongi: As for making it up to me,,,, Skype me for a few hours when I get home tonight. Also send me a selfie right now.

Hope: Selfie I can do ;). Where are you?

Yoongi smiled and turned on his camera, quickly snapping a photo of the view.

Yoongi: Not entirely sure. But it's a hill that overlooks the city. It's beautiful after dark.

Yoongi: Well it's not really a hill, just slabs of old concrete but it's beautiful.

Just like you. He refrained from typing that and just sent the text.

Hope: Holy shit. That's high up.

Yoongi: I know.

Hoseok didn't answer so Yoongi replied to Jin's text, a huge grin on his face. His feelings for Hoseok were still in place. He was glad that Hoseok had apologised.

Jinnie: Can I take you out for dinner?

Wait what? Yoongi froze in his spot, reading the text over and over again to make sure he read it right. They'd never gone out. The only time they went out for dinner was when they bought takeaway from the nearest diner or shop but never a fancy restaurant. To Yoongi, a fancy restaurant (or just a restaurant in general) meant a date and Yoongi didn't know how to feel right now.

Yoongi: sure?

Jinnie: I wanted to attempt to cheer you up.

Yoongi: Sure.

Jinnie: Sweet. Where are you btw?

Yoongi: I'm out. Need to clear my head. I'll be home in an hour okay?

Jinnie: Okay. See you soon!!

Yoongi sighed and turned back to the skyline, his phone still on in his phone. He was a little plots in though so he jumped when it started ringing, Hoseok's name flashing on his screen. With a grin, he answered his friend's call, heart pounding and beating loudly in his ears.

'Hey Yoongi. I'm still really sorry about last night. Please tell me you forgive me?' Hoseok whispered and Yoongi could hear the smile in his voice. Yoongi giggled and played with his notebook, flicking through the pages scribbled with messy lyrics and crossed out words. His original plan was to write lyrics and finish a few songs but that had gone out the window the moment Hoseok had contacted him. Oh well.

'Of course I forgive you, Hoseok. Just promise me you won't do it again.' Yoongi mumbled, still staring at the skyline. The sun had started to set and the sky was painted a light blue and pale pink. It was only a few minutes until the sight Yoongi loved which meant the dinner with Jin. The thought made his stomach queasy.

'I know. I swear on my life I won't ever cut you off in turn for my boyfriend.' Hoseok said.

'Okay good. How is Jimin by the way?' Yoongi immediately cringed for asking about him. He hated Jimin with a passion and he wanted to kick himself in the shins.

'Oh. Um. I'm not sure. He got pissed at me because of what I did o you yesterday.' Hoseok mumbled, sounding like a kicked puppy. Yoongi could imagine the little pout on his face as he talked before a huge grin overtook it again. Yoongi's heart immediately clenched painfully in his chest. He'd do anything to be with Hoseok and see him in real life right now. Yoongi glanced at the empty spot beside him and closed his eyes, imagining that Hoseok was beside him right now. Laughing and pulling on Yoongi, pointing to the sky and grinning like a madman.

'Did he?' Yoongi asked, raising an eyebrow and he smirked a little. The thought of Jimin getting upset with Hoseok or being an ignorant asshole made him feel weird. Maybe the guy wasn't so bad. But wasn't Jimin the one who took Hoseok's attention away from Yoongi in the first place though? To clear his head, Yoongi shook himself a little and tuned back in to Hoseok's rambles.

'Yeah.' Hoseok cleared his throat with a cough. 'So, how is your mixtape?'

'It's okay. I mean, I was meant to be writing lyrics and finishing a song today. It's almost ready and I'll send it to you when it's done.' Yoongi smiled and Hoseok squealed. Yoongi pulled the phone away from his ear briefly and giggled.

'I can't wait! You know how much I adore your music, Yoongi. Oh man...' Yoongi felt a small blush cover his cheeks, tinting them a faint pink and he chewed his thumbnail. He felt all giddy and lightheaded, listening to Hoseok gush about Yoongi's music.

'When do you think it'll be done?' Hoseok asked. Yoongi shrugged then remembered that his friend couldn't see him.

'If I get motivation, maybe a week?' Yoongi guessed, frowning a little. Hoseok whined. He could just see the boy throwing his head back, a disgusted look crossing over his face.

'What gives you motivation?' He asked and Yoongi bit his lip. You. You give me the motivation I need.

'The place I'm currently at.' Yoongi half lied. Sure this place did give him some motivation but Hoseok was his main inspiration.

'Ah. The lookout with the beautiful view. Well...' Hoseok kept rambling on but Yoongi wasn't listening anymore. Instead, he was focused on the sunset. It was beautiful. The sky was a faint yellow mixed with blasts of pink and splotches of blue and purple in places. He quickly put his phone on speaker and took a photo, completely in awe. He stared at it, smiling slightly. The sound of Hoseok's voice offering background noise. I wish you were hear with me right now.

'Um, what? Yoongi are you okay?' Hoseok questioned, concerned and confused, Yoongi jumped and blushed.

'Did I say that out loud?' He stuttered and Hoseok chuckled.

'It was cute and adorable. Damn, you're so cute. I wish I could see your blush right now.' Yoongi buried his face in his hands and groaned.

'No you don't. But I've got to go. Dinner plans with Jin.' He said and Hoseok whined again.

'Okay. Talk to you later, Yoongi. Love you!' He said and hung up, leaving Yoongi with his phone near his mouth, slightly tensed up and feeling like a school girl again.

'What are you doing to me?' He mumbled to himself, leaning back in his chair.

***

Yoongi closed the apartment door behind him and saw that Jin was sitting at the table reading something with his glasses on.

'Hey.' He said, looking up and grinning. He closed the book and Yoongi smiled.

Jin wasn't wearing fancy clothes which let some anxiety in Yoongi's chest fade a little. He was still slightly wound up but seeing Jin in normal clothes relaxed him.

'So, we're going out to dinner?' He asked, taking a seat across from his friend.

'Well, you seem to be in a better mood now. So we still can if you want but knowing you, you probably just want to stay in an order pizza, don't you?' Jin asked, raising an eyebrow. Yoongi just nodded.

'Yes. I'll go order and you go set a movie up,' Yoongi stood and then remembered that he was given pizza. 'Wait. I was given free pizza remember? It should be in my bag but I'm not sure if its edible.'

'It will be if we reheat it.' Jin said, watching Yoongi grab out a plastic container with a few slices of pizza. Yoongi scrunched his nose up and shrugged.

'It's edible.' He popped it in the microwave and leaned against the counter, waiting. Jin headed to the lounge room, looking through the small collection of DVDs. He finally decided on the Matrix. Once the DVD was ready, he sat on the couch and waited for Yoongi.

Once the pizza was finished heating up, Yoongi grabbed the container and walked over to Jin, not even bothering with plates. Didn't really see the point. At the sight of the Matrix though, Yoongi groaned.

'Again?' He asked, taking a seat on the couch.

'Yes. Don't argue with me and don't complain.' Jin warned but he had a grin on his face. Yoongi rolled his eyes.

'Fine. I won't. Just play this shitty movie.' He mumbled and Jin punched his shoulder lightly.
