The poor guy used to have a loving ma and pa... Or for some band of sick bastards to burn the town to the ground... And they gutted his parents in front of him and forced him to do so, no less...

As he's about to end his own life... A Woman, who was a former AHA and now an independent Hunter... convinced him that he could spare another town from sharing the same fate...

And he grew up to be a pretty damn good one, and he did manage to save a town...

However, the same can't be said for his Mentor... One of the kin just has to shoot her in the back, like some disgraceful Sellsword. I don't know what the god's name is that half-wit thinking about after doing that?

I don't know. But I know, for one thing, Caldwell used to trust that person... And he already avenged her... Whatever that happened... It made 'im distrustful of anyone. Not even to those who helped him, not even me... Hence I have to observe the lad' without risking my mind following him into the Bayou...

He even went for using some Unholy Magic to help him get back in the fight... Even after being shot down by either other Hunters or his Hunts.

Though... I do know one thing about his preferred weapons... Lever Actions. His favorite is Winfield M1873 Talon. The Good old reliable and the variant can be used as a club, that killed many of the other Hunters that crossed him, with his Nagant M1895 Officer, should his Winfield go empty or he listen to some British Red Coat saying 'Switching to Secondary is faster than reloading'. Odd tactic, but hey, if it works. It works. He both with both High Velocity and Normal rounds.

As for his stuff, he always carries two Fire Bombs or Hellfire Bombs if the opportunity arises, two Vitality Shots (Weak), a First Aid Kit, and his Mentor's Knuckle Knife.

Shame one of them got lucky and got 'im. At least his Step-Sister learned from his mistakes and took the reins.

Although... If he managed to get the Wellspring... Where will he go next?
