This takes place when the gang is way younger Dally is 13 

School has just let out so I met up with some of my friends. Steve ,Soda , Johnny and Ponyboy (Darry had been t the upper campus ) had went home at lunch and had skipped the rest of the day . I met up with Sally a middle class kid and Rachel a grease . 

We stopped by the local diner to get a coke . Rachel request stealing it , but I refused trying to keep her out of trouble . We sat inside there there for a good 30 mins . We ran in to some of the local hoods like Mark and Byron ( that was then this is now fans ❤️) . After we talked with them for a little while we started our way home .

Sally's house came up first so she had to take a detour. She left . Me and Rachel stared towards our house which where in opposite direction but I walked with her anyways . I like to take my time  coming home . I didn't really like that place . It's was a 30 min walk there and back to her house to the road that leads off to mine .I had seen Darry driving to his part time job . He had just turned 16 and had to drive his dad's truck around . He didn't mind though . He worked at feed store bout 30 minutes on the other side of town . He was already saving for college already . Smart kid always  had been .

When I was crossing this these two rodes that cross paths . You know it's in the  middle of a neighborhood so it's not a intercetion but just  a 4 way dirt rodes . Well anyways while I was passing I was kicking a rock boy paying any attention. Just then and dirt truck slams on its breaks inches away from me . U had screamed in fear and fell to the ground . " OH MY GAWD " I yelled as DALLAS get out of the car " What the hell are you doing " he asked as if nothing had just happened. " Dallas are u kidding me what are you doing your only 13 why are you driving and almost hitting people with that damn truck , u have now clue how scared I just was "  I was screaming at him " hey hey quit screamin' come on I'll give you a ride " Dallas said cooly as if he was a hero or something.  . " You owe me " as I stared picking up my stuff Dal helped by being up a pencil . " For what I know your going to tell everyone and I'm giving you a ride if anything U owe me " Dally said " DALLAS IM GOING TI KILL YOU " I said while pretending to wrap my hands around his neck and choke him " no you won't now get in the car " . I grabbed me bag and rolled my eyes and sat in the front seat . " how did you even get this thing and how do u already know how to drive " he didn't answer " You ready for the ride of your life " Dally said with a evil smirk " Dallas No " he didn't listen he speed off taking every turn on two wheels and running through every ref light or stop sign we passed . He had learned nothing from the experience that had just happened. Dallas never learns . 

 In the ends I really did have some fun but I'm not going let him know that!!!
