EI promised I'd show you Meika, and here she is! Her name is pronounced May-ka

Since she is related to Taurus, she has an ability, though it is a weak one. Meika can manipulate the air, but at most she can swirl small leaves around in her palm or create small gusts of wind. She doesn't mind though, at 12 years old she is the cuter, more childish version of Taurus! I love her already. :)

If you think that I'm going to upload pictures of every single dorm, then fat chance! You should know by now that I'm far too lazy to do that. Leave it all up to your imagination! (You can imagine the school too)

Taurus POV

Amazing. 

That was the only word that was processing through my brain as I stared up in awe at the dorm before me. Actually, it seemed more like a house. Just five times more elegant. The instruction sheet I'd received at the front desk had guided me here. It had also said it would house 11 others. 

I'll be honest, a part of me thought, This big of a dorm for just twelve of us? 

The sheet had also said that we were the only ones in a twelve-room dorm, which was... odd. 

Guess that means we're special? I thought idly, tapping my crutch on the small set of stairs that led up to the dorm's front door. Meika had insisted I use it today. I don't see how, the most special thing I've seen is Meika's air talent, so-

I heard the sound of light footsteps behind me, then stiffened when a warm pair of arms caught me around my waist. Light breath brushed my ears. "Guess who!" 

"Aquarius, honestly," I sighed, smiling. "You and I both know that you're the only person who would do that without getting a crutch to the shin." 

"And I'm glad you decided not to hit me," Aquarius said, freeing me. "So, you're here too, huh?" 

"Yeah," I replied, waving my crutch at the dorm. "That's my dorm." 

"That's my dorm too!" He exclaimed. A dazzling smile lit up his face. "That's great, I can make sure you don't strain yourself." 

"Aqua..." 

"Hey, Meika would sue me if I didn't." 

Outward I laughed, but inside I was glad that Aquarius was comfortable around me. We had been friends for almost 9 years, but he was kind of frosty in the beginning. Only after three years of knowing each other had he finally allowed me to give him a hug-and needless to say, I had nearly strangled him to death. 

"So, who else do you think is here with us?" I asked as we entered the dorm. Wow. It was even more spectacular on the inside. To my left, I saw the doorway to a large kitchen-I'd check it out later-and to my right a spacious living room. Right in front was a hallway that apparently led to...??? 

"I don't know," Aquarius answered. "Hope they're nice." 

Instinctively I reached out and patted his arm. "It'll be okay." 

Suddenly, a door opened and a woman stepped out. It almost looked like she was floating, but the almost-silent click of her heels betrayed that fact. "Welcome," she said in a soft, whispery voice. "I am Cygnus, the swan. I will be dropping in from time to time to check in on you."

SHE WILL NOT TURN OUT TO BE EVIL. Despite her expression.

Anyway...

"Your rooms are right down the hall," Cygnus said. "Enjoy your stay here. You will have a day to simply talk and converse and get to know your fellow dormmates. I will be right here if you need anything." 

We followed her instructions and went down the hall in front of us. On either side were doors-six on the left, and six on the right. There were names engraved on the plaques on the door. "Oh, I found mine," I called. "Second door on the left." 

Aquarius frowned. "Oh. I'm across the hall from you, fifth door on the right. 

THIS IS THE ORDER, for your own benefit:

Anyway...

"It'll be fine," I said reassuringly. "I'll be in the kitchen when you're done." 

I stepped into my room and... wow. 

(Guys, for the dorm rooms for whatever sign you are, just imagine your dream dorm and there you go. You've got it.)

"How the heck did they design this?" I murmured, plopping down on the bed. "It's like they peeked inside my brain or something." 

Somebody knocked on the door. "Coming!" I called, hobbling as quickly as I could. I swung open the door to find a girl standing there. Well, sort of. I mean, I was kind of short but still kind of tall. "Hi...?" 

"Oh! Hi hi!" the girl responded cheerfully. "I'm Mini, nice to meet you! Thought I'd make some friends, especially since we're right next door! What's your name?" 

"Taurus," I replied. Her way of speaking and her hair which was in two long pigtails reminded me of Meika. "I was actually just about to go downstairs and make some food... what do you like to eat?" 

"Anything, anything," she sang, dancing out. "Follow mee! My brother is downstairs, he's reading but I'm sure he wouldn't mind! Come on, come on!" 

Naturally, it took me a little bit more time than the ever-enthusiastic Mini (which I wondered, who would name their child Mini, she wasn't overly short or anything) but when I entered the room I immediately saw a black-haired boy with a strong resemblance to Mini. 

He glanced up as I entered. "Hello, you must be Taurus. I'm Gem, Mini's twin. She's already off finding others, so just try and deal with her." 

Mini raced up from behind us and pounced on Gem, giggling. "Hi there, brother! Why are you so down? C'mon, get up and play a little!" 

"No thanks," Gem replied with extreme dignity. (A/N: Only Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio, Saggitarius, Taurus, and Aquarius already know someone in the dorm as a best friend. The others make their friends) 

"Ah, you're so boring sometimes," Mini sighed, bouncing off him. 

(Switch to Nobody POV just because it'll be easier to handle introductions that way) 

The door opened then slammed shut. "What the hell is goin' on in here?" 

Aries walked in, dragging a fiery-red suitcase behind him. "Who are you guys? Wait, lemme guess, my dormmates, great! Dude, what's up with that crutch? Broke a bone or somethin'?" 

His way of talking was brusque and fiery. Mini wasted no time shaking his hand. "I'm Mini, and that's my brother Gem and Taurus! Pleasure to meet you, yep yep!" 

"O-oh, so you're all already here..." A quiet voice spoke up. Pisces emerged from the hallway, clutching a blue stuffed rabbit in her arms. "My name is Pisces, how do you do..." 

A loud sound called squealing came from outside the door. A somewhat flirtatious yet slightly haughty voice said, "Please, please, ladies, don't crowd, I can't reach the door." (One guess who that is) 

Aquarius joined the little group. "I think I can guess who's making all that noise." 

Gem put on a pair of headphones and kept on reading. "Sounds like girls," Aries observed. "Mighty loud ones, too." 

"You don't think they are all going to live here, do you?" Taurus asked, peeking out the window. 

"I think," Mini said, throwing open the door, "They're all here... BECAUSE OF HIM!" She pointed dramatically at Leo, who was surrounded by his usual girl gang. He looked up when she shouted. "Huh? Oh, hi there, come to save me, princess?"

Mini rolled her eyes. "As if. DUH! Come on in, ridiculously tall popular guy!" 

"Spectacular," Aquarius muttered under his breath. "Just what I need, a boy who's constantly surrounded and admired by girls living in the same house as me." 

Taurus reached out and hesitantly touched his hand. Aquarius flinched but let him squeeze it nevertheless. 

"Don't worry," Leo said, strutting in. Mini was outside, shooing away the girls. "They'll be focused on me." 

Aries gave him a withering look. "Oh yeah? What about us, we can't have a bunch of girls constantly screaming outside our dorm, I might be tempted to use them as my targets for shooting practice." 

"Please don't do that!" A new voice called out. Libra (who else!) rushed out from the left hallway. "I mean, that wouldn't be very nice..." 

Gem tossed up his hands. "Thank you! For once, we have a relatively calm person in this room!" 

"I won't take that personally," Mini told her twin. 

"U-um, well, as long as you aren't fighting anymore, that's good, right?" Libra asked. "I'm Libra." 

"There are supposed to be twelve, right?" Taurus stated. "Maybe the others aren't here yet. Who's here right now?" 

"We've got Leo, Gem, Mini, Taurus, Aquarius, me, Pisces, and Libra," Aries said. "If there are twelve of us then we still have... four more people to come." 

"Actually," Gem said, taking off his headphones. "You're mistaken." 

Aries frowned. "I'm sure I counted right." 

"You're mistaken," Gem said calmly, "Because my sister and I are two halves of one whole. Together we form one whole person." 

The other zodiacs stared at him for a moment. "Eh?" 

"EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!"

*sits back as stretches* Ahhh! We'll just stop there! Yeah, I know it was short, sorry, but the next chapter is going to be loooooong and full of information and basically will take forever for me to write but whatever, so...

Mainly because I don't want things to be too awkward or anything, so yeah, this will help the story flow a little better.
